Fireplaces Plus

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had to make so many phone calls and had to follow up that I can’t remember how many calls I’ve made. I would guess 50+ calls. It took that many calls to get our insert fixed. Three seasons and it hasn’t worked right yet.
I would pay hundreds more to go someplace else. They are not honest in what they tell you.

Nice but over priced. Chimney sweep price was more than double the cost of others. Definitely shop around before calling.

I am a very smart buyer and I looked everywhere to find the best deal. Went to energy house and was turned away went to fire plus and got the same wood insert for $ 800 cheaper ! If u don’t believe me price around ! Steve is a good man and I’m very satisfied with there service ! I would recommend this beautiful store ! Thanks fire plus u kept me happy and saved me money. And installation went great as well !

They are way overpriced. I bought some legs for my freestanding stove. They charged me 4 times what they were worth. I bought the same exact legs from the Internet and tried to return the ones I bought from them. I left them at the store until the manager/​owner came in. He said he would not accept the return. On top of that they misplaced the ones I returned and kept them. I then tried to purchase another part for my stove. It had to be ordered. When I picked it up and took it home it didn’t fit. They had ordered the WRONG part. In addition they charged me double the shipping costs. They forgot to take the receipt out of the box so I know what they paid for shipping and they doubled it. Again, they would not accept the return. In the end, I was out roughly $ 400. I will never do business there again. I will order whatever I need from the Internet from now on. So much for trying to keep my business local.

Came into Fireplaces Plus to by some parts for my wood stove, I was ready to spend some money, but the salesman was a complete jerk. I tried to get what I needed anyway, but the guy was so difficult I finally said forget it and went somewhere else. Never could figure out what the problem was!!!

These guys are the absolute best at what they do. I used them when I needed a nice wood stove up at my hilltop spread called «vulture crest». Aka where Crazy Bernie lays his head at night. Rick (the owner) is dedicated to his customers and it shows in the way he runs the business. They are also the best choice for BBQ islands and everything for outside your house. Crazy Bernie is a fan and loyal customer.
