Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clovis-Fresno Area

The only place I stay when I’m in the Fresno area. Clean rooms nice staff. I’ve stayed here a half a dozen times.

I have been to this place multiple times. It is in a good location. Close by food and entertainment. Service is pretty good. Never had a problem. I recommend this hotel.

Visiting Clovis for the first time, my work booked a few nights stay for me at this location.

pool and Jacuzzi open until 10pm
Enterprise car rental is directly across the street if you want to drive yourself around the city. They offer drop off as well.

gym was pretty small with a treadmill, stationary bike, and an out of order elliptical machine. I would suggest they provide a cushy floor mat to do stretches.

Worst hotel experience of my life!!! Came back with LICE and a 7 mosquito bites. Been itching ALL WEEK. Definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel. If I could give it 0 stars, I would!!!

The room was ok and clean. The property was close to restaurants and it was quiet at night. Lots of parking. There was no fridge or microwave in my room. The service was acceptable. All in all it was a good stay.

First of all this hotel is among the highest in cost of the HIX chain considering… How do I know? I am a Platinum Elite Rewards Club member. I made this reservation nearly a week ago for Monday 9−14−15 and Tuesday 9−15−15 and was surprised to see my bill under the morning after my first night. I went to the lobby to have them fix their mistake only to find that there were no more rooms available for the 2^nd night of my stay. Only a sorry it sucks to be you type of response as the blamed me for the mistake. WTF? The folks at the front desk on the morning of 9 – 15 Tuesday were not concerned in the least. Considering that this hotel is one of the few HIX hotels that don’t have a fridge or a microwave, this will be my last stay here ever for me… Rooms were clean and average and on a positive note, the lady taking care of the breakfast was friendly…

I came in on labor day weekend and somehow they messed up on my reservation! The staff here knows nothing about customer service. They weren’t able to help me out with nothing but give me a regular room with just a $ 17 dollar discount. Every holiday inn is privately owned so each hotel gas it’s own rules. This one doesn’t even give you late check out for being a memeber! Their staff really doesn’t have a clue of what they are doing. Very unprofessional, you can see them writing notes to each other behind the desk and laughing at you while your just trying to get a room to get ready in. This location in particular doesn’t care about you, they just want to fill up rooms and take your money. Never staying here again.

No, no, no. I paid more for this hotel than I normally do when I stay in Clovis, which is where my sisters live. But my usual place was booked up and I ended up reserving a room here. It cost $ 20.00 more per night, the room was smaller, however quite clean, but the deal breaker was that there is no refrigerator OR microwave in the room. I went to the desk, was told that only their «suites» come equipped with fridge or microwave, and that if I wanted, I could use the microwave in the reception area to heat up my dinner. I’m going to cook my dinner in a microwave in the reception area, which was full of people??? No. And no refrigerator to chill my glass of wine??? I ended up eating McDonald’s, had a warm glass of wine, and I won’t be staying there again.

This Holiday Inn is amazing!!! So helpful when my family and I were in need. Booked a room down the street at another hotel, got in the room of horror. Called Holiday Inn explained my situation they were so awesome! Got here to find I was in heaven!!! Sooooo CLEANNNN!!!

We love it! Super clean, great service. Totally recommend it. The rooms are pretty big too!

Hotel seems pretty new and clean. Staff was friendly. The only complaint I had was the coffee maker in the room was falling apart. The room also did not have an outlet near the bed to plug in a phone which would have been a nice touch. No refrigerator in the room. An extra star for the free breakfast which was actually quite good. The pacacke machine was neat although the pancackes came out a little rubbery.

This hotel was rates high here in Clovis so we decided to give it a try. It is Christmas Eve and we are here from Texas visiting family…
My son and I are sitting here waiting for my husband. He is talking to front desk about finding us a new room.

We looked out our window on the 3^rd floor and their is a trailer park…
How the heck do I always end up finding these hot spots with the great views…

This hotel is amazing! They helped us more times than we can remember during our move to Fresno. They have a great breakfast, great staff and they have a shuttle that will take you and pick you up anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel.
My father, who was in a bad car accident, moved to Fresno with us and stayed here for several days while we got our house in order. They did more than they should have in order to help make his stay more comfortable. They drove him more than 5 miles away to a doctors appointment and took very good care of him.
The hotel is very conveniently located near the 168 and on the border of Fresno and Clovis. We would never stay anywhere else in Fresno.

We stayed here for the Maná Concert & it was great! Check-​in was fast, & they had a shuttle to take us & other concert goers to the Save Mart Center :) I def would recommend it :)

This Holiday Inn Express is like all the rest, but sadly our kids bikes and our bike front wheels that were locked on the car bike rack, were stolen. We parked right in front of the hotel, next to the front door.
When we spoke to the Manager the next morning he offered an apology but no more. While packing up the person parked next to us told us his bikes and even bike rack were taken right off of his car last time he stayed at this hotel, and another employee admitted to her car being broken in to a few month prior. So, yes the hotel is clean and the staff is nice, but don’t leave anything of value on or in your car. The staff will not warn you.

Stayed at this location during a business trip. Very frienldy staff, clean, modern rooms.
The Thai restaurant nearby is really good.

Clean, new, nice staff, big rooms, swiming pool, jacuzzi… what else? if you are on the way and want to do a relax stop, this is the spot.
Pd.if you stay there try the japanes restaurant in front of the hotel, tepan yaki show and sushi, worth to visit it!

The only reason why i stayed at the HIX is bcuz i got a coupon for $ 75 a night, which was a steal. Average rates are from $ 100+
When i first walked into my room, I was in shock! Ive never stayed at a fancy hotel besides family vacations, but this one was waaayyy better! The room is super clean, nice layout, modern furnishings, PLUS a flat screen tv that pops up a lil welcome note with ur name. I thought that was cool, haha! Bed was very comfy, comes with both soft & firm pillows. I had a great view, looking over the pool and a trailer park. I must say, I have very much enjoyed my stayed. with the coupon!

This is what a good standard 3-​star hotel should be. The hotel is brand spanking new. We had to attend a wedding in Fresno so our friends were able to get a group discount. For 80 something bucks a night, the stay was not bad at all!
The staff was quick, courteous and helpful. The rooms were pretty spacious and modern, including a flat screen LG TV. The bathroom was average, but nevertheless clean and spotless. The pool closed at 10, but they weren’t not strict with the curfew at all. I went out to dinner on one night and when I came back at around midnight, some people were still there! The printer in the business room was free. Plus, the internet here was free and lightning speedy fast! That was a definite plus for me! Breakfast was free too, and they also give you complimentary tea and coffee inside your room! The only thing I didn’t like was the gym. It had only 3 pieces of equipment, eh… it’s not like I worked out during my trip. LOL! For a standard hotel, what more could you ask for though?
I really enjoyed my stay here that I had to be the first to write a review! If I’m ever in town again, I’d definitely come back.
