Specialties

Aebleskivers are a round Danish pancake. We make many different variations, including plain with huckleberry, raspberry, blackberry or strawberry syrup and whip cream. Pumpkin Aebleskivers with cream cheese frosting and caramel. Also a customer favorite is the savory Aebleskiver with sausage and havarti cheese inside with a beer cheese sauce for dipping. Many other home made menu items are available as well, including our famous Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, home made soups and salads and much much more.

History

Established in 2013.

Aebleskivers was founded at the Kootenai County Farmers Market in the summer of 2013. We started with a 10 X 10 booth set up just on Saturdays serving 100’s of amazing customers that all wanted to know what an «Aebleskiver» was. We were asked to many different events throughout this first summer and grew very fast. We were asked to do «Green Bluff» (an amazing event above Spokane Wa. during the whole Month of October). We continued on in the Month of November to the Coeur d’Alene Silver Lake Mall and when we were done with that on the last day of December, we were asked to open a permanent location at the mall. Which is where we are now… and Still growing… We will continue to do the Farmers Markets and special events around the area… Stay tuned, you never know where we will end up next.
