Established in 2003.

We have worked with many animals in various environments and we’ve seen the wisdom of our philosophy: «Home is Better.»

When we moved to Chico in 2002 no one was offering Cage-​Free

Dog Boarding and there were not very many dog walkers.

Olive and I got married on our property in Cohasset, Ca. in 2003.

We began making plans to turn our place into a doggie wonderland.

Our home is your dogs home away from home.

Your pets are given exceptional, personalized love and attention as well as professional care while you are away.

Hello and Thank You for searching for the best pet care in the Chico area.

I am Diana Markham a native California girl, from Fresno.

However I lived in Seattle, WA. for about 11 years and moved to this area in 2002 with my soon to be husband Olive Markham.

In 1993 I began part-​time dog walking and pet sitting while working at the Seattle Humane Society as an adoption counselor.

I acquired most of my training and knowledge of animal behaviors working there with dogs, cats and small animals.

As well as volunteering and fostering for various dog rescues.

I learned a lot about positive training, natural ways to feed your animals, using acupuncture, chiropractics and hydrotherapy for animals of all sizes.

I have a lot of experience, knowledge and compassion for animals and love being with them and caring for them.

Since 2003 my family and I have strived to offer the best service to you and your pets (whatever they may be.)
