Worst customer service! I used to go here several years ago and it was good. Went in for a spray tan about 6 months ago and was treated terribly. Recently decided to give it another chance. Same results! Never again!

This is a very nice and clean tanning salon. They have top of the line lotions and always have deals. I personally tan here and the equipment is always nice and kept up with! Highly recommend!!!

Save your money. This store is not open during the hours posted. They open hours after stated on store. Seems like you can only tan at their convenience. Customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority.

I use to tan here all the time and loved it! So many different beds and options plus it’s clean. I haven’t tanned in a while and I recently went back for my first spray tan. I had a great experience. The manager was so helpful over the phone and then when I arrived I had great customer service! They made me feel really comfortable!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. Every time I go in there the workers are talking about inappropriate things. Half the time they won’t even greet you, and they simply continue gossiping and talking about how drunk they were the night before and so on. I have been turned away numerous times because the employees tell me there are too many other guests waiting, which baffles me because I would go in at 8:30 and they are supposed to close at 10:00. I have a membership to tan here and I don’t appreciate investing in this company, only to be severely disappointed each and every time I go in there. Please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. Any where else would be better than this place. I plan on canceling my membership and taking my business to someone who values the importance of customer service.

I’m only giving one star because I have to. Worst customer service ever! Came by to get a quick spray tan because I used to go here all the time when I was at TAMU. And not one person greeted me nor commented back to me when I said«thanks!» One girl was not even dressed and was standing by the counter talking to a friend rudely about some guy about to walk in. Regardless or not if it was their friend or not I could still hear the comments. When I used to come here back in 2012 – 2014 the service was outstanding but I won’t be back again. Taking my money somewhere else

WAY over priced. The charged my card and like an idiot I didn’t inquire how much it all was…$ 188! Their register has no screen to show you the rally either. I’m pissed about it.

If you want to throw your money away this is the place to go. Start up fees, membership fees monthly fees. Everytime I went in here I was harassed a out lotion which are outrageous in prices and then when I would say no I got an eye roll. Example: I went in one day my lotion was in my purse and this girl didn’t say hi or anything but took my tag I scanned my finger and she said did you want to buy lotion. I told her I had one in my purse and she said LETMESEEIT! I was confused and showed her and said that the one I was using was bad because it left you orange and i looked like a had an orange color. First of all I didn’t look orange and second I cancelled my membership then and there would never recommend this place to anyone if I could give no stars I would

It’s a little pricey, but well worth it. Everything is EXTREMELY clean! As soon as you walk out of a room, there is a cleaning lady going right behind you to spray the bed down and clean up. I’m a germ freak so that’s important to me! The girls that work there are super nice, and are very knowledgable in case you are a virgin tanner! Would recommend DT to anybody in the area.

I have been a member at Darque Tan for a few years now. Today I stopped in to do a spray tan and was greeted by the most energetic person. Crystal(manager) was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make my visit excellent. Darque Tan is lucky to have such an employee. She obviously understands what quality customer service is! Thanks so much Crystal!

First off, I would love to give this particular Darque Tan more stars based on their superior level of customer service, friendliness, and all-around cleanliness, BUT this location is very, very sales-y. I think buying a car is less frazzling and more straightforward. Once you choose a plan, it’s very easy, and the sweet staff members are well-trained to cheerfully answer any questions you may have, even if you’re a beginner or don’t look like the typical All-American Aggie girl.(Some places in town are not cool with this, so I really appreciate it.) My problem is that the high-pressure upselling with product, payment or tanning plans is not very customer-friendly. When my financial and life circumstances changed this past year(and I was out of the country for a few months), I tried to freeze, then cancel my account, which was being billed month to month at the top level. I was told corporate needed to be involved, etc., etc., then corporate agreed to freeze my account and let me use free months from when I was gone. This went on for a few sessions, then when I came back the following week, I was told corporate changed their mind and I could resume my old plan. I thought I was freezing my account, so I agreed to it, not realizing I had still been billed in full during my supposed freeze/cancellation period. Is this confusing to you? Because it is to me and I’m the one it happened to. Again, I was told if I wanted to cancel, I would have to call corporate customer service. Finally, I stopped at a Darque Tan while visiting a friend in Austin, explained my situation, and was allowed to cancel my account right there on the spot, no pressure or hemming and hawing, just a cheerful girl telling me they’d be here if I decided to come back. I’m considering going back because I really did love the quality of service I received, but the heavy upselling and borderline lying at this location is really off-putting. I may try a few other salons first.

I called the night before to see what time they open on Saturday morning because I needed a spray tan early before a wedding. They told me they opened at 8 am. I showed up right at 8 and waited 40 minutes outside the building and no one ever showed up. Very unprofessional and disappointing!

Super luxury feel to this place, but I feel like they are extremely over-priced for the quality of their beds. I never got much of a tan during my membership there, so I quickly canceled. It seems as if they didn’t change the bulbs enough or something. but at least the staff were always friendly.
