Awesome experience, great fun! We did the South Fork river and were absolutely blown away.
Great scenery, not one minute without excitement, great organization, and great food.
We had Jimmy as our guide and he made our trip a very special experience. He chose different — and more exciting — routes than the other boats, let us go backwards through rapids, and gave us tons of interesting information, while he was ahead everything all the time and made us feel safe every second.
If you have the opportunity to choose your guide, chose Jimmy.

There are a lot of options for whitewater on the American River. The team at WWC rocks! I’ve taken my group on this trip for the past 3 plus years. Do the overnight trip, great water, great food and amazingly upbeat guides. A quality group all the way.

Yuri was our tour guide, and we had a fantastic time. He mixed it up a lot, like none of the other boats were doing. There was a lot of games we played on the river, stories behind rocks, and other great conversation. Lunch was the best you could ask for out of a lunch box. They provided water for you. Yuri knew everything about the river, which angles to enter the rapids at, when we needed to paddle or back paddle. I would have trusted his paddle commands blind folded. Great since of humor.
I’ll come back, and I highly recommend Yuri!

I have used this company annually for a total of 5 summers. They are always accommodating and provide great service. This past trip was a last minute trip and I call them 2 weeks prior to the date we wanted. Not only was it short notice, but Whitewater connection advised they only had 6 seats and I had a group of 24 people. Whitewater connection was quick to pull strings and get us more boats and additional guides. The guides were awesome and friendly. The food (lunch) was great! All in all it was just what I expect from them year after year. Oh! And their pricing is vary fair! :)

My first time going with White water connection and they were pretty alright as to the guide. I was observing at other guide within our 4 group because its all about them that makes your rafting trip fun and adventure. And I think my crew boat got the cooliest fun one JEREMY! He was really down to earth and interacted with his team all at the same time having to take his job very serious. He gather all our boat to splash some people on the side of the bank hahaha He was awesome! So sorrty didn’t have no cash on hand to tip:(
Raft on the middle fork, been on it couple times now and it always enjoyable but for sure a new route would be nice next time. Quite downtime stream, 3 – 4 big rapid. Happen to fall out at the last big rapid hahaaa…

My 2 best friends and I have been doing different trips every year. The past 2 were skydiving. This year was whitewater rafting and it did not disappoint. We meet up with Jeremy and his Trainee Andrew. Both very nice guys and very knowledgeable. Great personalities, down to earth and most importantly to me, didn’t give you the feeling of taking a bunch of people for just another trip down the river. Jeremy was very clear on his communication and just a good person. River was cold and moving fast. (We went 5÷21÷16 at 11a.m. 4000 CFS.) My friend found this outfit for the trip and there are many to choose from. If you go choose WWC and if your lucky you’ll get the crew we had. Epic good times!!!

New to the area. Stopped by Sat morning to check them out and they made room for my wife and I to join an afternoon trip down the lower South Fork of the American River. Rich was our guide and his wife Lori (also a guide) was with us… We had an awesome time… They were great!
We had so much fun that I signed up with WWC the next Saturday for an 18 mile trip down the Middle Fork of the American. Robbie was our guide and we had another incredible trip. This outfit is safety first and well equipped and staffed to give you the very best river experience!!!

Took my family rafting. DId the upper south fork half day trip. All had a good time. Trevor is an excellent guide. This is at least the third time I have used WWC and I am never disappointed. They are the best for South and Middle Fork American.

This is truly the company to pick when whitewater rafting. Trevor was our guide; he was fun and had a great sense of humor (important for our group of friends!). The Connection team provided thorough training on both safety and rafting. I felt prepared and comfortable with the upcoming adventure. Our trip down the American was awesome… we had a great time and did some pretty cool things. I will definitely be using their services again!!!

AMAZING !!! I was recently at WWC for a 2 day rafting trip and was blown away at how friendly, polite and informative the staff there was, not to mention professional. It started with camping on site, a great location near the water, with facilities… Friday night. We woke to a fantastic breakfast, followed by the safety class which is hosted by the river guides. Then, the fun starts and doesn’t stop… rafting for the first half day, then we break for lunch… which is prepared by the guides. We return to the raft for the second half day and it is incredible. Once we reached our destination, we load up into the bus, head back to camp for showers and dry clothes, only to be served a 5 course meal of shrimp, tri tip, salads, chicken, veggies, potatoes, beer, wine, soda, water and the best chocolate desert items ever. INDULGE… The next morning, breakfast is prepared and served for everyone, and we hit the trail in a decked out bus, to start further up river, arriving back at camp for a prepared lunch. Our Professional river guide was JEREMY, affectionately referred to as «KERDERKER» (spelling). He was funny, professional, and worked his tail off to make sure every person (our age range 6yrs old to 50) had a GREAT TIME. Whether its your first time, or you are an expert, you have not experienced the water the way it should be experienced, if you haven’t cruised the rapids with JEREMY. If I could rate the place higher than 5 stars, I would. This is a family friendly experience, for all ages and a virtual must see. Many thanks to JEREMY and the folks at WWC for making my experience absolutely fantastic.

Jeremy is a super guide. It was my first rafting trip and it is super awesome. We also enjoyed the stories that he told about history and people of the area.

Had a fantastic first time experience rafting with WWC. Had never gone rafting before, but WWC made it fun and safe.
Our guide was Jeremy Kaderka (I apologize if I’m spelling that wrong). I can’t say to everyone’s experience, but he was hands down the best guide. He really got in tune with our raft and catered our trip to benefit us the best. We had so much fun and would love to raft again with him as our guide.

These guys rock! This is my third time rafting with WWC. We went 7÷31÷15 on the middle fork with camping and all meals included. The female I booked with over the phone was super friendly and even came out to introduce herself when we got there! All of the staff were awesome and super fun, our guide was nick who is a very expierenced guide. Trevor made sure we knew what to do and what not to do so we could be safe and have a lot of fun on the river. Our meals were super tastey, cooked by some awesome guys named payton and Jeremy. Customer service was on point! We camped at their site, and brought our own gear great set up with everything close together. We are allready booking our next trip :) Don’t go anywhere else! Even met the owner while we were there, great guy who cares about his guests.

Super trip down the middle fork. Fernando was a great guide, serious when dealing with our safety but he liked to mess with us a little in the calmer waters. My son and I stayed at the campsite which was perfect. On the river with amenities. It was the cleanest and easiest tent camping I have done. There are stores within a half mile and yet you are totally secluded in the woods. Go WWC!

WWC is the best! We had a blast doing the ½ day trip on the South fork. Our guides were Trevor and Verny, they were excellent! Would definitely come back again! ¡Pura vida!

This was such a great day! Weather was perfect! Our guide Nick was excellent and kept us very safe. We did a ½ trip and it was perfect for us since it was our fist time rafting. The water was nice and refreshing. Beautiful sights along the way. Plenty of Rapids and plenty of places to just coast and relax. There is a small area that is safe enough to swim down the Rapids. We did the Chili Bar North Fork of the American river. Awesome experience and I really hope to come back some day and do it again. 100% recommend. BBQ lunch was DELISH and filling. Burgers, hot dogs, and other dishes were prepared by our tour guides. Very friendly and knowledgable.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! It all starts with Mollie Kingma! Her personality and customer service makes you feel so comfortable about the trip! The camp site was awesome! If you rent tents, they’re already set up when you arrive. The staff are attentive and they make sure you are having a good time. Excellent guides on the water! Safety first! Nobody gets left behind! And after seeing pictures of other companies, I appreciate the fact that WWC use helmets! Will definitely go back and use WWC again!

Had a lot of fun on our rafting trip with WWC. Our guide was friendly and talkative enough, but also made sure we knew our sh*t so we didn’t fall out of the raft (gladly we did not)! Easy pick-​up from the parking lot to the mouth of the river and lunch provided.
A few tips:
— Sunscreen WELL before hand; it gets hot!
— If you get car sick, the drive to the river is pretty rough; be prepared
— Sometimes lunch can be much later in the day, so it’d be good to eat some breakfast

This trip was AWESOMEE! Totally worth the 3-​hr drive to the starting point of the Middle Fork. Our tour guides, Tom and Austin, were two of the most animated and angelic charm-​sters; dare-​devils (but with precaution) as we had hoped for. They helped run us alongside rocks, steer into deep dips and propel from quick currents (this was a good thing because our trip was never boring). They shared in our jokes and participated in our wonky rituals. I didn’t want to leave :(
Scheduling was easily completed through phone. Their website has links to all-​you-​need to pack for your trip. They are quick and prompt in their responses.
Lunch was a deli-​style buffet, make your own wrap, with jugs of lemonade/​water, cookies, pita chips. Delicious meal to have while surrounded by the Tahoe National Forests, little of which is populated with civilians. Bathrooms were upgraded (in my book) porter-​potties. Trail mix while we took a break from the Class 3 – 4’s and drifted through the pools. They definitely took care of our bellies and the men when they get grumpy from having empty stomachs ;). They taught us how about the 2 must-do’s for water safety and all the necessities for a safe ride in a timely but thorough manner before and while on the raft. They proved to us that they know their stuff.
