If I could give zero stars I would.
My parents bought an RV here but shady trade in practices, hidden fees and no support after the fact makes this place the worst dealership to purchase anything from.
Listen to the low star ratings about these guys. I’ve listening to what my parents are going through and it’s just unimaginable there’s even a company in this day and age that operates like this.
They give my parents the runaround about a defective RV and they say we’ll put you through to the sales/​maintenance or whoever only to have to leave a voicemail into oblivion.
If you want customer service and don’t want to get caught in deceptive practices, don’t go to this place. If you do, well «You’ve Been Warned». You will be writing your review here shortly.

Terrible once the sale is signed.
Went to an «RV Show» for a specific RV we saw online. Go through the paperwork there, financing, etc. To tell you the truth, they had us waiting around for them alot. Waiting 30 minutes for them to find the sales person, another 40 for finance… but whatever. They had the RV we wanted at the price we wanted, so we waited.
The problems we’re having is that part of the sales process was that they were going to fix «safety and function» issues as part of the final inspection process. For this they charged us $ 2000 in a fee added onto the sale. So for $ 2000 plus the salekid’s assurances and the written details about what we expected to be fixed, we left it there and expected a delivery date in 3 weeks, assuming it would be ready.
Called the morning we were supposed to get delivery (pick it up) and told it was ready.
Get there. the carpets are wet, they ran something over cracking a wheel well, cracked the dashboard and fixed… nothing. Not the windshield crack, not the cracked dashboard. and to add insult to injury they cut wires that might be important if anyone bothered to look. On, and the leveling jacks didn’t work and there was a screw through a tire. Mind you, the fixes on the sales sheet we were told «not a problem» to fix, it’s part of the functionality of the vehicle.” Go to pick it up and they’re not even sure they can fix it — wait, given a run around while service tech finds saleskid who has to ask someone else… which makes me wonder. if this was going going to be a problem shouldn’t have this been discussed BEFORE THE SALE?! oh wait, it was, and they said «sure not a problem»
We were there 2+ hours waiting to talk to someone about getting it fixed and getting a run around. GM King was there but refused to talk to us, instead sending a service tech in his place saying they could order the parts if we wanted to take the RV with us, they’d call us… While sales kid repeated over and over «don’t worry, don’t worry it will be ok.» Really. that’s they’re solution to problems there.
Next to us as a brand new RV with the «new owners» there for the 3^rd time trying to take delivery of their RV that every time they go there was a new problem, also. Ours was used, so at first it seemed we were getting such disregard because of that, but the other family bought a brand new class A. They were receiving similar disservice and were similarly frustrated and becoming increasingly angry, too.
So, here we are, no RV, getting calls from tourism agencies they apparently sold our names and phone numbers to about using our new RV and still no call on when it might possibly be ready. The bank apparently thinks we took possession since we’re already gotten our payment book for the loan, which also is adding insult to injury.
Avoid these people at all costs. They lack integrity, honesty and have complete disregard for the customers once they have the sale.

This place does not deserve 1 star.
The worst customer service I have ever encountered in my 60 years of life. These other reviews are spot on.
We bought a trailer here 9 months ago. This dealer was the only place around that had the particular model we were interested in. Big mistake. We have had it in about 6+ times and NOTHING has been fixed. They tell us they have done things that they have clearly not. Out of the 9 months we have owned it– they have probably had it in the shop for 4 months. We just picked it up today after them having it for 6 weeks and it already leaks just as it did before. In fact– when we did pick it up today they offered NO help in hooking it up and wouldn’t even speak to us. They were only worried about the customers about to drive off with their new RV. We should have told them to run away before they signed their papers!
Bottom line worst customer service ever. I don’t understand how in an economy like this this horrible establishment is still around.

DO NOT BUY AN RV FROM MC MAHONS. We purchased one this past July at the Pomona RV show and with the exception of a two week it has been sitting in their repair shop. EVERY SINGLE TIME (6) now that we are told that EVERYTHING HAS FIXED we go down to pick it up and it isn’t done. This is unbelievable. Last week I called Daniel 3 TIMES to confirm that it was REALLY READY TO BE PICKED UP THIS TIME. All 3 times during a 4 day period I was told yes and that YES it will be washed to confirm that the paint damage THEIR repair did in July was finally fixed too. I dropped my husband off last week to pick it up and it wasn’t washed but could see the paint damage still wasn’t repaired, the inside liner is still stained where the satellite dish they installed leaked, the wood damage where the wardrobe cabinet still was not repaired (they just stuck putty in the holes). Still don’t know if the windshield is still leaking water inside because it wasn’t washed so is it new water inside on top of old? I have documented times and dates of all the wasted trips to pick it up, damage that wasn’t repaired and most importantly phone calls NOT returned. I have called Paul Schioperoort from Westminster location who is Director of Operations, Steve Austin the sales manager from the Colton located where the repair shop is. Several calls to Daniel and Dennis the service manager went unanswered. Called again yesterday was put on hold, then connected to another irate customer somehow. I called back again and finally go Dennis from service on the phone who did say that they actually ordered parts to fix our brand new motorhome. So tired of wasting our time, and missing out on our planned vacations because of not having access to motorhome. All Summer long they had it. Now filing complaint with Better Business Bureau and obtaining an attorney.

I bought a travel trailer a year ago from mcmahons that was a brand new repo. As with any new trailer, over time it developed issues. Mcmahons service department in Colton has been excellent and very professional fixing any problems I’ve had. I would feel very good about buying from them again

We had a very positive dealing with Colton’s McMahons RV. Phil the General Manager was awesome. Above and beyond. Jim and Dave and service department answered all our questions, called us back promptly. There was no hard sell. We know what we wanted for we have been looking for months and did our research. We gave price we wanted to pay and it was agreed on without any haggling. Had a beer while doing paperwork (at RV show). Since we received such good service we had them install the 5^th wheel hitch and switch the axles for us and we are very happy with the service we received.

My family and I recently bought a new fridge through McMahons for our trailer. After our experience there, without a doubt we won’t even waste our time going anywhere else for anything r.v. related. We dealt with a kind, thoughtful, helpful woman named Kim and as far as customer service goes, she is second to none. The entire staff was friendly and educated, just an all around pleasant experience. I recommend this place to anyone.

Worst SERVICE I have ever dealt with. The service manger Kim is a piece of work. She has no manners and STUPID. She thinks she knows everything. She’s barks but when you bark back the bitch calls the police. Never will I return to this store. A matter of fact, I will make sure I give them all the bad publicity I can. Every social network will know how crappy they are. How is it I take my RV to you for an estimate and you claim its a authorization for repair? Not to mention your Bureau of Automotive repair license has been delinquent since January 31, 2013!!! Get your life together!

Customer Service is horrible. We have had our trailer for less than a year and they are telling us even thought the fridge only works with the generator on that our generator is not powerful enough, also our battery is no good even though McMahon rv supplied the battery, and it states a green light. Problem is still not fixed.

Excellent customer service. We went to the RV blowout sale in Angels stadium. We walked in knowing what we wanted and we got the 2012 Thunderbolt XLR for less than what they wanted. Thank you Tim and Cris.

I will say the staff recognize the poor reviews and they said they are working to change customer service perceptions. While there were some glitches during the purchase process they responded to my concerns promptly. My glitches are all fixed and were done in a manner I expect when I buy an RV at a dealer. Thanks to Dave and Phil… and Phil’s son (don’t quite remember his name, sorry!)

Wow… I don’t really need to say anything, as the reviews above mirror exactly my issues.
We have had trailer a few months, took it in a month ago tomorrow to get some minor things done, and most of it has still yet to be done. They conveniently forget the things you tell them to do, and also blame the dealer for everything taking so long. Every time I call it’s the same story. «the parts are due to be in next week».
We are picking up our trailer today. finished or not. I don’t think we’ll ever take it back here for anything, even though we paid for a warranty.
Do your best to not buy from these guys… we only did because they were the only one in LA with the trailer we wanted.

edit. UPDATE: so we go to pick up the trailer. and we get there and they say, «we’re still waiting on several things… and we’re checking out your water leak right now»… I proceed to nicely tell «Dave» you need to get your sh@t straight and quit blaming the dealer for your incompetence.
So. 10 min later, Dave comes back with 3 boxes. our stuff had been sitting in the back for who knows how long. for fcks sake.
So, then we take our trailer up north for a ski trip. get there that night, find out the sink pipe that was leaking and supposedly fixed is gushing out water just like before. We also find that they left water in the pipes after «testing» it, and it froze and cracked a pipe.
I called them that night and left a 5 minute tirade on the voicemail that included about 30 F-​bombs. They called back the next 2 days, and I refuse to talk to them anymore.
We are done with them, and taking out trailer elsewhere and paying out of pocket instead of warranty as this company is nothing but a fraud.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST!!!

Still horrible! Took my 3 month old trailer in for warranty repairs. It took them 2 weeks to even look at the trailer. When I called I was told the parts would be in for it in about 2 weeks. Knowing how these guys have worked so far I picked up the trailer so i could use it in the mean time, good thing. It is now 2 ½ months later and after I have called them 3 times inquiring about them completing the repairs they called me today say the parts are finally in but I cant even bring in the trailer to start on the repairs again for another week because they are so busy. My best estimate is that it will probably sit again for another 2 weeks once I drop it off for repairs. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! WHAT A JOKE!

If you purchase from McMahon’s RV, you will regret it! We signed a contract, aqreed on a deal and then they refused to return our phone calls for 3 days. They then changed the financing terms, including tripling our interest rate! This was after we already signed the contract! This place is terrible and I wish I would have read the reviews prior to going there at all. They are unethical. You will find nothing but the quintessential sleazy car salesman-​type attitudes there!

We love our new trailer, but this dealer has been THE WORST, from the very start. Poor communication, inept follow up after the sale… it’s amazing that these folks manage to stay in business.
I have spent WEEKS trying to get the parts and pieces missing and not delivered with our trailer. Call on the phone– nobody knows anything. Stop by the dealership– the parts department is a cluttered mishmash of parts and employees are sitting around playing solitaire on the computer. Nobody knows anything; nobody has any desire to be helpful. It’s pathetic.
ZERO stars is really most appropriate as our experience has been the worst we’ve had in many years of RV and vehicle purchases. Uggggh.
STAY AWAY from this dealership!

Poor service after sale. Zero stars. Promises not kept, work done very poorly, paperwork snafus that cost us lots of money — this is a place that sells but does NOT actually service RV’s.
