History

Established in 2011.

Since opening in 2011, we have grown our customer base to include the local Colton, Grand Terrace, Redlands, San Bernardino and Loma Linda communities. We have a special affinity with the staff and students at Loma Linda University. The key to our growth is word-​of-​mouth referrals from our satisfied customers and excellent customer service. We aim to please. If your car is in our shop and you need a ride to work or home, we can make it happen.

Each of our technicians has been certified by the Universal Technical Institute. Our manager and Chief Diagnostic Officer (CDO) is ASE certified, formally educated in automotive technology, and served in technical capacities with the US Navy. The combined automotive industry experience of our technicians, manager, and owner exceeds 45 years.

Michael A.

Manager

Michael is ASE Certified in multiple disciplines and has formal education in the science and technology of automotive diagnosis and repair. Michael is a US Navy veteran, having served overseas in various technical capacities. Our customers like to call Michael the «Professor» because he takes the time to explain how the various components and systems of today’s modern automobile work together, so that the customer may make an informed decision regarding service of his or her vehicle. Michael is committed to excellence in customer service on all automotive repair services.

Went there after my son decided to run over the curb with my car. The team checked out the car and fixed it up well along with letting me know other problems that are visible. Very fair price for the initial inspection and on the parts. Will definitely come back when I need the rest fixed up.

First time I came, the owner was here and super nice. Came just for an oil change but they also checked my tire pressure and filled them up, no charge. Told me that I should keep an eye on one of them because it was really low. And it actually turned out that I needed to get that one replaced. All that was really quick, about 20 minutes, though I came an hour or so after they opened.
Second time I came for another oil change, they were just as nice and courteous and quick. $ 24.99 for an oil change, not bad at all plus without all that upsell that Jiffy Lube does to you.

Fourth review update of this business… Oil change and check/​top-​off fluids. Friendly staff. Great price. Quick service…25 minutes this time. Haven’t tried to push other services or upsell services. They have signs up, and previously have told me, that all their Mechanics are ASE certified and they are a full-​service automotive shop. I am moving an hour away, but, will be in this area often and plan to continue having my servicing done here. :)

After searching for an honest and reasonable price auto shop, I came across this one on Unilocal.My Volkswagen Beetle was leaking fluid and I didn’t know what was wrong, so I brought it in. It actually turned out nothing major was wrong with my car, except for my brake light which they fixed. Mike was very honest and even explained some things to me about my car I didn’t know before. The guys here are very helpful and tell the truth. If you need a great auto shop, absolutely recommend this place! & I definitely will be coming back to them for anything that has to be done on my car.

I found this place on Unilocal and I’m glad I did. HONEST MECHANICS HERE! took my truck into them to have the brakes serviced. I accidentally bought the wrong brakes for my truck. I thought the fronts needed to be replaced when in fact the backs needed replacement. Juan was so honest that he called me up and told me I bought the wrong set of brakes and that my front pads were fine, however my rear brakes were in need of service.
I spoke with Bill, the owner, and I don’t think I’ll be going to any other mechanics than these guys. Great customer service. Fair pricing! Thanks again for the brakes. We’ll see you guys for all of my auto repair needs! Thanks again, guys!

I came here midday to get my oil changed and the transmission fluid checked in my ’98 Mustang. I was greeted with a great big smile and a willingness to help. They were slammed with several large repairs but when told I them I was on a somewhat tight schedule the manager, Mike, was more than accommodating. He had my car ready and the transmission fluid topped off in less time than it took to eat my sack lunch I brought. I will be back with a repair for my Jeep and will check in then. For now a big thumbs up and five stars!

I’ve been taking a couple cars here for the last few years and these guys have excellent service and super friendly. I live in LA part of the week so I had gotten my front brake pads replaced at a shop over there, while here in Grand Terrace I noticed my park brake came on and then felt like my brakes were just slowly not working which was super scary because it got to the point where I wasn’t sure if my brakes would stop all the way. I called first thing in the morning and they got me in promptly even though they were super busy for the day, they even gave me a ride home! They fixed the problem (a loose screw and leaked brake fluid) under a couple hours. I have to give them thanks for my safety on the road. The other place was super careless over a procedure that pretty much is as easy as an oil change so I’m grateful that ProStop was able to take care of their lack of good work. If I’m in the area there is no one else I would trust. Thanks again!

I unfortunately had to go the cheap route and do the work myself. But I can tell you that his prices were right on target or cheaper than most places. He was very responsive with a quote and extremely professional. I would give 5 stars but I don’t know what kind of work he does, sorry Bill.

First time coming and first off the employee on the phone was very sweet (that’s a plus for me), drove up and notice that jiffy lube was the first thing turning in the driveway my heart sank (didn’t want to go to jiffy lube) but then coming around the corner I seen the shop (yay, would prefer them to be in the front instead of jiffy lube but oh well) came in i was greeted by mike (super awesome attitude) very helpful very sweet answered all my questions I asked and just all around very nice. (Customer Service at its finest). The service was so quick I couldn’t believe it, and the pricing amazing like wow. Definitely coming back and recommend friends and family to come. Thank you gentlemen for the awesome service…

I’ve been coming here for awhile since I’ve been in school at LLU for 3 years. I’ve brought my Toyota Corolla 97, Infiniti G35 04, & fiancé’s Nissan Versa here multiple times (at least 10 times altogether). When you bring a car to a car shop this many times, you obviously trust them (& I rarely trust a lot of mechanics).
They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy here … at least so far. I haven’t had any problems yet and would like to keep it that way. Just check it out for yourself. Our oil changes take 30 min tops. They are fast & efficient here for what we have experienced so far.

Guys jump started vehicle and had it running. While vehicle was running, apparently tried a draw test and ended up shorting a few control modules. They admitted they screwed up the vehicle and would repair it. Sent it to the dealership and authorized some of the repairs but not all. They had shorted out the ECM, IPDM and BCM. Once those were replaced, there was still a shorted ABS actuator. They now said they would not pay for that. Vehicle turns on but Speedometer does not work. ABS and Brake lights now on and ABS actuator faulty. Vehicle is not drivable. Having to tow car down 50 miles to my home and get it fixed out here now. After speaking to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, was advised to repair the vehicle and file a complaint to seek reimbursement. We have paperwork from the shop that does not explain the complaint, cause, and correction of what was done. It is missing the VIN number and plate which identifies what car they are working on. All wrongfully done paperwork. Do not recommend this shop at all. Maybe an audit will show how long they have not been documenting paperwork properly.

Very reasonably priced. My wife and I both got oil changes here and they were done fairly quick and didn’t try to sell us on anything extra like most places tend to do. My check engine light was on and they were able to find and repair the problem quickly and at a lower price than I was anticipating. Customer service was excellent. They were very friendly and seemed more concerned with providing quality service rather than seeking you on something you might not b actually need. We will continue to go here for future work.

Fast, friendly and decent prices. Did I mention fast? The guy at the counter (Mike) was a good guy. I got an oil change and transmission service. Price was $ 130 out the door for both.
