Description

Specialties

«The body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter and the spirit heals with joy.»

I provide Craniosacral Therapy and Wholistic/Therapeutic Massage Therapy to help your body find its way to health. I have two offices: one in Clintonville and one in Worthington. Scheduling availability for each office is available on my website.

Craniosacral Therapy is a light-touch form of bodywork focusing on soft-tissue restriction and easing the nervous system into relaxation. If you are frustrated with your current path towards health, struggling with symptoms, or seeking something new, you might want to try Craniosacral Therapy.

My work is especially effective for: relieving tension and discomfort caused by stress; increasing overall relaxation; releasing muscle tension due to jaw clenching, strain, and chronic pain; relaxing the body before and after medical and dental procedures.

The qualities I bring to a session: a safe and grounded container for your body to find its path to healing; sensitivity, understanding and openness to your experience; intuitive understanding of the body and its processes combined with training in anatomy and physiology.

In addition to continually updating my therapeutic training, I expand my knowledge and awareness of somatic practices by studying with various teachers in the areas of meditation, yoga, and dance improvisation. I love reading about related emotional and bodywork practices including BodyMind Centering, Continuum, and the works of Philip Shepherd and Karla McLaren.
