Inside of Tensuke Market, I think of Tensuke’s Sushi Window as Akai Hana to-go! The first time we came, our experience was less than perfect. One of our rolls was wrong, the register in the back wasn’t working and we had to go to the front, and the checkout person wasn’t very friendly. Since then, we’ve had lots of wonderful experiences here. Our rolls have always been on point, our check out process is always fast and easy(and they recently hired someone new who is great!) and the register in the back has been working. Their system is really easy; you take a clipboard and mark down what you’d like, give it to the person behind the register, get a buzzer, and wait for your food. When it buzzes, you go to the register, get your food, and pay. You then walk through the rest of Tensuke Market and are tempted by various goodies — I’m a sucker for the wasabi peas and fruit gummies, yum! We love Tensuke Market and their sushi, and will continue to come back!

First, I’m not Japanese. But my father lived in Tokyo for a year, and I truly love sushi. I LOVETENSUKEMARKET. Their carry-out sushi bar is really, really good, and it’s inexpensive for the quantity and quality you get. Sometimes it’s fun to take sushi home, or to the park, or the office. You can get it made to order(takes 10 – 12 minutes, depending on how busy they are), or they have large refrigerated cases of common sushi selections that were made same-day(and usually sell out fast). Tensuke Market is a nice Japanese grocery store. They have everything you might want to buy. But go there for the sushi. And we like their Express Market restaurant(attached) very much. Small, crowded, and like being back in Tokyo.

Well, I went to this place one month ago. I don’t know why people have not put a lot of review out here. I give 5 stars to them. The sushi is just amazing. Well, it is hand-rolled by Japanese. Well, what else can you expect beyond amazing!

I give this place a 5 stars, but its relative to Columbus take-out sushi. I have eaten at some of the best sushi joints in LA, and nothing in Columbus even comes close, but in terms of Columbus sushi, Tensuke Market and Akai Hana are the best you will find. Definitely get the Columbus Roll and some Salmon Nigiri. I also love this place because its not easy to navigate. Its tucked in the back of the store. You can also get a fresh piece of fish from the counter and have them cut it up for you for sashimi to eat there or to take out.
