The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Okay, so anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE coffee bean. This place is great for anyone who just needs time to sit back and relax. I came here to study for finals and I got a lot of work done! It wasn’t noisy which was quite surprising. The workers seem sassy but they’re very kind when helping out the customer! 5 stars for this coffee bean!

The coffee is delicious but sometimes the service is awful. It’s been twice that I go and get the wrong coffee from the same girl. It’s only her that always gives me the wrong order. She also proceeds to give me this look as if I had offended her when I tell her very politely that wasn’t what my order. The rest of the staff are very polite. I really like this place but it’s very annoying to have to keep waiting for my order to be corrected.

I always go to this location as its close to the Costco gas station, and i truly enjoy the coffee, the employees and the outside eating area.
However today, a different staff was there, the cashier did not know what a Misto was and must not of understood me when I explained to him, because I got the bottom of the pot with actual coffee grounds in it and a very small amount of milk…
In addition, once we left to sit in the outside area, a young homeless person decided to sit next to us, it was very clear that he was on drugs and getting ready to get his bed ready…
This was truly a bad way to end the weekend.
I called to complain, but the young lady that answered, was not very helpful or concerned at all.

First time at this location and really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

I’ve been here a few times just because they’re near costco gas station. I decided to write a review after coming here a few times.

Everything Bagel
Got my order and tried the bagel, and I’d say it was delish. Went well with my coffee. I was really surprised, because the couple times I’ve been here, I wasn’t really enjoying it. Because I usually get a shot of hazelnut syrup in my coffee but they only had powder and was something I didn’t want to add. I always passed on the sugar syrup that they had. This time around I just agreed to getting the sugar syrup. It was good haha
I recommend there bagel with the Americano. Yeeeeeesssss:)
The reason why I give them 3, is because I didn’t like it the first few times I went there. So this Is pretty good actually. 3 stars! Maybe it’ll change after a few times I go here. We’ll see

I love this place but their main emphasis is the drive thru. If you go to the counter, they take their sweet time. I do the counter because they sometime get my drink wrong. Other than that ok
I really love this place but people read the note when preparing the drinks lol. They messed up my drink twice this week. I’m still loyal lol

Ugh, I love this place. I discovered it last year when I was in California and so glad I got to go again. I wish we had one in WA!
Only reason I deducted one star is because our barista was stupid. Sorry. No other way to say it but to just say it. We had to repeat our order like 5 times, you could hear her giggling when we were talking, and she was just annoying. Do your job. When we got to the window, she gave me my drink and it was covered in coffee because apparently she overfills drinks too, and can’t wipe the cup off for me.
I had THAT kind of service and still giving them a four, so yeah. They have some bomb ass coffee.

Great service and great coffee. I enjoy coming here to get work done and it’s always been a friendly experience. Everyone is so nice and the place is clean which creates a great work environment.

Really love this new location. The parking can be a bit rough but the service and overall quality is quite good. I enjoy the Café Vanilla but sometimes it is a bit too milky for my taste. Prices are standard for a coffee bean and it is pretty clean. Go for it.

So thankful that there’s finallly a CBTL here at Commerce! Im so tired of sbux, plus there’s always too many people there. Love the fact that this coffee bean is spacious with not-​so-​loud music and open later than sbux too. Perfect study spot! My only comment is that drinks can take a little long, but coffee tastes good tho! Definitely better tasting than sbux!

Finally one near Pico Rivera.
The location is big and it had drive thru, I am very pleased with this coffee bean.
Even though it’s a 10min drive from my house I will make it anytime!

This is one of the top notch Cofee Beans that I’ve been to. The customer service is good; fast service; Wi-​Fi; lots of chairs & tables; comfy sofas; plenty of parking; and drive thru.

Friendly service and drinks are ready in a timely manner since there never seems to be more than one person ahead of me. Last time I went in I told them an issue I had with a bland drink at another location, they gave me a suggestion on how they could fix that and my drink was PERFECT. Definitely appreciated the tip, now it won’t matter which coffee bean I am at or who makes my drink since they told me how to order it from now on to ensure a flavorful drink every time.

First time at Coffee Bean and I must say I’m pleasantly surprised by this location. Not only is it Super spacious but the whole atmosphere and environment is very welcoming and bright. The lively, but still very chill music they play is also just right so it works well as background noise when studying or just reading a book. I would say it’s a nice change from Starbucks where it’s usually more dim and crowded. Tables are spotless and the chairs look new and comfy. Since it’s also located inside the plaza w/​costco there’s plenty of parking. :)
The coffee itself… is alright. It’s not bad but it’s differently different from say Starbucks or Peets. I go to coffee places pretty often so I guess I’m a bit more critical. While you can Definately tastes the coffee in the drink, the syrups/​creamer they use make the drink more like a sugary drink rather legit coffee if that makes any sense. It actually takes away from the coffee Itself. Costs $ 0.50 more for them to add milk and creamer/​sweetener which makes it rather expensive at $ 2.99 whereas at Starbucks you get the whole iced coffee w/​everything for $ 2.25. But their regular is bigger than Starbucks’ tall so I suppose it’s the same.
The baristas are super nice here :) patient too since I kept changing my mind and asking questions. Accidentally being that annoying customer and all. Speedy service and nice ambience. Great study spot if I’m ever in the area I’d come again.

The coffee is just about what you’d expect out of any «main stream» coffee joint. Although it’s taste a little better than Starbucks, it’s loaded sugar content makes it less than desirable. If you’re looking for a somewhat decent coffee sugar high, than Coffee Bean will serve you well.

Great service, my blended mocha came out quickly and was made perfectly.
The quality is great, I am obsessed with their chocolate covered espresso beans, I can’t drive by one of their locations without stopping in, hits the spot every time!

I loved it here. The environment is so friendly and I’m here everyday and not once has it been dirty or somebody been rude.
Of course coming here everyday sometimes my Americano isn’t the exact same everything but it’s still amazing.
I definitely feel that some staff is very friendly and some just seems a little slower.

Looks like a new store, very organized. Nice atmosphere, the drinks are amazing. Could improve, bathroom was kind of dirty. Other than that I love this place. easy and chill

Didn’t know this place was here, so I take time to download the app so I can join their rewards club, the app wouldn’t let me load money so I asked cashier to help me, cashier was very friendly and told me that this particular location doesn’t offer any rewards due to the fact this location is new. (It’s been open for 6 months!) soooo… I guess I’ll continue to stay a loyal Starbucks customer, I do have to admit though that they are friendly and the tea is good.

I never really went to CBTL.
I was just always into Starbucks.
I started coming more frequently when they came out with the Mexican Chocolate.
I started drinking it everyday.
I may have a problem.
Anyways, I started to regular this location
As it is right before the freeway on the way to work.
It may have set me back ten minutes and made me late, but it was worth it!
Every morning brought me a very pleasant experience!
Things really took a nosedive the FIRST time I decided to come after work.
My car was overheating and I needed to take a break from driving
Before I continued on my way home.
I stopped by CBTL so I could sit in, drink some tea, and de-​stress from the day.
I can’t say the exact date of my visit, but it was about a month ago around 4:30 pm.
There were about four employees working, yet they were so submerged in their
Own conversations that it took them five minutes to take my order.
I personally don’t care about how much they chat, but I really think they should have been more attentive.
They basically threw the drink at me and quickly turned away.
I was pretty shocked, honestly.
My second experience was even worse.
I came right after work with a coworker who had never been to CBTL and I wanted to treat her. Not only did I have to repeat my order SEVERAL times to the lady, but the order was wrong. I specifically told her in the beginning we were going to pay separately. It was to my disdain that when I handed her my card first, she charged me $ 17 for both orders. I told her about it and she made no effort to try and fix the error. I ordered a salmon sandwich and she didn’t even ask me if I wanted it warmed up, which in all my experiences, they have. I drove away with a terribly blended drink, an overcharge on my card, and a cold ass salmon sandwich. I think I’m going to stick with Starbucks.
