A Plus Towing

James was awesome. My dodge magnum broke down in a very small parking lot due to a blown engine. He showed up way faster than expected. Although my car was in a very tough spot to hook up, he did what he had to do to get it on his truck and to my house and stuck by his original quote. He’s earned a customer for life. Thanks James!

Guy was nice price is good eta was super fast and helpful. Because of where my car was park he wasnt able to tow my car with his flat bed. The 3 stars is because he locked my steering wheel when before it wasn’t locked and i had to call another towing company and they specifically told me that they had to charged me an extra $ 30 to put dollies for the lock tires and locked steering wheel otherwise I’d only pay $ 60

I’d give more than five stars if possible. The transmission went out in my car on the side of the road in Byron, CA as the sun was setting. I was about an hour away from anyone who I could call, and no one I knew was able to tow. So, I called roadside assistance through my insurance, and they sent A+ towing.
They managed to get my car up on the truck, and we set off for Vallejo, where I lived. I had asked that they tow my car to the Aamco there because I didn’t know where else to take it. James, was very friendly the whole ride and even gave me some great pointers regarding cars and services and what not.
Once we got to vallejo, they unloaded my car and then even offered to give me a ride to my apartment since it was dark. They didn’t want me walking a half an hour across Vallejo. I was very appreciative!
Bottom line, these guys rock. If you need car services, I’d highly, highly recommend them, without a doubt.

1. For starters, the good people at A Plus Towing seem to have a Commitment to Customer Service Excellence in their DNA.
2. Their prices are highly competitive– to the point that they are serious about being go-​getters and they undercut the tacit price fixing which occurs within the towing & transport cartel.
3. James, the owner, gave me what I needed, when I needed it, and went the extra mile to overcome a challenging delivery situation (a driveway with a pretty steep slope). I told him in advance that this was waiting for him on the delivery side before I hired him. He didn’t whine. He didn’t cry. He didn’t complain. He just got it done. He has a positive attitude about overcoming obstacles and tonight was no exception. Not only that, but at no time did he compromise safety. Because I myself am in the transportation business, attention to SAFETY is a very big deal. It’s more than just protecting the cars from damage. What REALLY matters is that nobody leave in an ambulance (or in a body bag).
Overall, I was VERY pleased with their work.
A Plus Towing is on my short list for the next time I need need to jump a vehicle or other piece of equipment from point A to point B.
I’ll write a more thorough review later when I have the time. For now, what you need to know is CALL THESE GUYS FIRST. They are likely to be a low price leader. And if you’re willing to be flexible about when you make your transport tow, they might work with you to help you save even more.
Here’s the Bottom Line: I was so impressed by their work that I gave them a tip (a gratuity). It’s a rare day when any tow truck driver is so good that they earn a tip.

For HEAVY Towing and Recovery (semi trucks, big rigs, cranes) I recommend Hap Landon at All Counties Towing for the greater bay area and Mike at Reliance towing for the North Bay.
Any idiot can buy a big rig tow truck if they have $ 400 000 (and many do), but it takes an artist to OPERATE the thing. It’s like 9 axle equipment transport– owning the equipment isn’t quite the same as being able to operate it
