Regardless of the South Park episode about Unilocal,I’ll keep doing it.
I am a property manager and these guys are awesome. They get rid of improperly parked cars ASAP. I do feel for those who have gotten towed, but as a property manager my #1 priority is the comfort of my tenants, and my tenants get really pissed off when people take their parking spots and they have to suffer finding parking somewhere else. My tenants also get pissed when they have to wait while someone has to move their car. 10 minutes of waiting for a car to be moved from the dirveway or looking for parking on the street can equal being late for work, a meeting, a doctor’s appointment, or just going home to rest after a long days work.
It sucks to get your car towed, but it sucks for tenants who want to rest or have deadlines to do.

This guy is a real pice of shit, I parked my truck at summer home to unload a friend who was moving in no more than an hour, I was charged 70 $ for storage and 80 $ for a gate fee on top of the 180 $ tow charge as well as some bogus special equipment fee, for a total of 370 $ and 4 hours of my time. I really hope this guy gets what is coming to him for being such a piece of shit and this review will be forwarded on to summer home as they shouldn’t do business that way either paying 3000 $ a month in rent the very least they could do is not make it a hassle for people to move in. The BBB should really take a look at how this asshole is operating his towing business and karma is a bitch he will get what he deserves. Oh by the way he drives a blue Mitsubishi Eclipse Colorado plate number 198 YLV if you see him on the street let him know how much of a peace of shit the rest of the world thinks he is

I work at The Bridge Apartments in Hayward and PPI has always done a great job. If we believe that the car should not have been towed Daniel will refund the money. They also take pictures whenever they tow in order to have proof should someone question the reasoning behind the towing.

These are the worst guys ever. They come into the Summer Houses at night and just take your car without notice. I parked my car in the 30 min loading zone and it was 5 mins and the truck just came by and took my car. This towing service is Bull.

If I could rate it a 0 star I would. I had a permit. They stole it along with tools and unlawfully towed my vehicle. Needles to say I filed a report with the police. Also with bbb. Watch your stuff. You have been forewarned.

10-​26-​2012 they towed my car (even i do have parking permit) at 3.30 from Summer House in Alameda. When i went to office to find out if my car stolen or towed, i saw the PPI Towing truck and asked them if they towed my car and they said yes and they took my picture while they were leaving!!! HOW DARE!!!
My car towed at 3.30pm and i picked it up at 6.30pm same day i paid $ 370 !!!
the place looks like a cave, there is no office, you wait outside there is tinted window (basically you can not see the person you are talking with) and a spot light to your face!!! it makes you feel really unsafe… not finished!!!
i went to check my car before i take it and i saw a fresh brand new scratch on my fender. I asked for the manager and when he came; of course he said it was there before, he is not paying for it! **HE THREATENED ME** to key my car to show how the new scratch can look!!! HOW DARE!!!
I WILL SUE THE SUMMER HOUSE AND THE PPI TOWING COMPANY IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT.
DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Saturday 7÷23÷11, my wife went shopping in and around this little strip mall Guadalajara Meat Market and Taqueria on 14 327 E 14th St., San Leandro (between 143rd Ave & 144th Ave). She parked the car in the lot then stepped across into the Asian store next door but not in the Guadalajara lot intending to continue shopping in Guadalajara stores. In less than 20 minutes the over zealous security had her car towed costing us $ 330. My feeling is that he gets paid by the towing company though I can not prove it. Because of the security I will not shop there again and I suggest you do not either. I feel robbed and violated.
I come to find out that there is no store security. The driver parks in the back and walks around waiting. Robbing scammers.
