We are a preschool and kindergarten class which provide the stimulation and encouragement that carries children into the exciting world of learning in a Christian atmosphere.
History
Established in 1970.
The session of First Presbyterian Church approved a preschool in 1970.
In 2009 with a growing change in the community we serve, FPCC decided to undergo a time of evaluation, study, and prayer for the future of the Preschool. We are reopening September 2011 as a Montessori preschool and Kindergarten with a Christian emphasis.
Meet the Manager
Robin S.
Manager
I am the director at Beginnings & Beyond. I started my work with children in Children’s Ministries at First Presbyterian Church. I studied at DVC earning an AA degree and completing their Early Childhood Program. I went on to study at St. Mary’s College in Moraga earning a BA in Liberal and Civic Studies with a minor in Montessori Thought. I completed my Montessori training and worked in a Montessori school for 8 years. For the past year I have been the Interim Director of Children’s Ministries at First Presbyterian Church.
