Chan Franklin, DDS

4 generations of my family are patients of Dr. Chan. I personally have been a patient for 18 years. I have always taken my kids with me to the dentist from the time they were born. Although they were not treated until the were 5 years old, Phyllis let my kids climb into the chair and get comfortable with the office. They always showed her their teeth. When they were old enough to have their teeth cleaned the kids were excited and did very well. Dr. Chan is excellent about treating you conservatively, but also not hesitant about giving you a referral when needed. The staff treats you like family and always make you feel welcome. I have been seeing Dr Chan and Dr Chan Jr all of my life. (I am 32) I have always had a comfortable and pleasant time. I get my teeth cleaned by Philis every 6 months as well. The staff is friendly and treats you like family. Recently I took my 5 year old son to get his teeth cleaned for his first time, and was horrified to learn that he had a cavity. Sense I have only had one cavity in my life I was disappointed that I let this happen. Dr Chan told me that he would try to do the filling, but sometimes young children become frightened and need to go to a child dentist where they would be sedated. I took my son to Dr Chan for the filling, and he was able to keep my son calm enough to do the procedure. I am very happy about this because I don’t wish for my 5 year old to me sedated. And the price was more than fair, I was scared that I would not be able to afford the filling. Although it was a fair price I am not a rich person and they even allowed me to set up a payment plan. I will continue to see Dr Chan and Phillis as long as I live here in the area. My son will as well. Thank you for a great job and family like atmosphere!
