This place is amazing! I’ve been to both locations and had great experiences at both. I was so stressed when I found out my oldest had head lice. They were able to get her in to a same day appt. and they did a check on myself and my younger daughter. We were told to come back in 3 – 5 days for another check. My daughter has very thick hair so I was prepared to pay for another treatment. When we went back my youngest and I both had it and we were both able to get treatments done. We’re still in the process but just knowing Comb It Out is there makes it bearable. They were very reassuring as I freaked out the 3 of us had head lice. They are worth EVERY PENNY!

Unfortunately my daughter’s school had been subjected to a pretty good lice outbreak a few weeks ago. In complete shock I went straight to rite aid to buy whatever lice treatment they had. We did the treatment and after combing through my daughters hair a few times (eww) I decided to let the professionals handle this. Their store was clean and the staff was very professional; answering all of my never-​ending motherly questions. It took two treatments, and was COMPLETELY worth it. My household is back to normal and it’s all thanks to Comb It Out! (:

I was very skeptical at first. thinking this would be a potential waste of time and money, but I read the reviews compared to other services, CIO has the highest # of positive reviews by far, so we gave it a shot.
Lice does not discriminate whether you have a ‘clean’ house & family w/​excellent hygiene or not. We suffered on/​off for 2 months with no success w/​store bought treatment until we came here. Everyone was great, treatment easy and the follow-​up done. We’re lice free!

Dishonest business practices!
Our daughters got lice. We took them in and paid for the services.
We asked if we needed a dry or wet check on us because they require it for their guarantee and they recommended a dry check. My wife and I were both declared lice free (but no guarantee on us for a dry check).
We went back in the recommended time frame for a second appointment and one child was declared lice free. The other still had it – guess they missed something.
We went back for the THIRD appointment and daughter was deemed lice free. Now 11 days later we find an ADULT bug and nits. Obviously they missed something again.
They will not honor their guarantee because they did the dry check not the wet check on my wife and me at the first appointment 3 weeks ago.
We didn’t know following their advice invalidated their guarantee. My wife and I still don’t have lice so it’s not from us anyway.

Worth every penny!
I suggest buying the comb too, it’s a great tool should you ever need one.

Went in today for an emergency lice check! Called and was able to make an appointment on the same day!
The facility is clean, organized and the staff is awesome!

I took my 3 year old daughter there when we found out she had lice. They were kind, gentle, and very professional. She was so comfortable and had so much fun. She said if I get bugs again, I want to go there again.

Lice free in less then one week. These guys are very compassionate to an annoying common problem. Would recommend to anyone who has a lice issue. A little bit pricey, but completely worth it!

These guys declared that my daughter is cleared but are not willing to stand by it. Their guarantee only works if your whole family pays them money to get checked, clean your whole house and then you and your family subject yourselves to a solitary confinement. You taking time off from work and your kids from school. It’s like Apple giving warranty for iPhone only as long as you don’t use your phone ;-)
These guys would never accept even the possibility that they might have missed some eggs when combing. Strangely the lice appeared again exactly 5 days after they declared her free of it. 4 – 5 days is the period when live eggs hatch. Any reasonable person would say that they might have missed some eggs but they would yell and fight and blame you for bringing up such an obvious and logical conclusion. Their business philosophy is that ‘customer is always wrong’ and admitting mistake or even a possibility of mistake is somehow accepting defeat.
While we were there, we saw a mother come in with her two kids. She has had her whole family treated a week ago and had found lice again. How would you explain that Mr and Ms Perfect ;-)

Took my 3yr for lice removal. It took hour and half charged me almost $ 200. Told us to bring her back in 5 days. I took her back paid another $ 50. I was told she was cleared. They checked my 5 yr old & she was cleared. It takes nits & eggs 5 days to hatch. Exactly 5days later I found some more lice on my daughter. I contacted comb it out. Apparently now they are not guaranteed! They want us to come back & pay more money. I spoke to Pamela their supervisor. She started yelling & shouting @ me. I rarely write reviews but do your self a favor. Save your time & money & go to a real professional!

When we found out about this place we could not wait for my daughters appt to get here. I did the NIX treatment from Walgreens and was able to kill the lice but the nits were impossible to take out she had so many, we felt so bad and helpless for our daughter! But all our worries were erased when we arrived and the sweet ladies and gentlemen took charge of the situation! They are professional and knowledgeable in what they are doing! This place is worth every dime! This was our first encounter with lice so we had no idea how hard and stressful having lice is! We hope we don’t have to deal with lice again but if we ever do we will not worry cause this place takes care of business! We appreciate the staff and their clean facility! We definitely recommend this place don’t go waste your money trying to do it yourself! Let the pros do it! Once again it’s worth every dime! People be realistic sometimes you have to pay the money! I just can’t get over how great this service is! I’ll give up my whole check I don’t care it’s worth it! I freakin hate lice!!!

I called yesterday about an appointment for a dry check since I had recent contact with kids with lice. I was told no appointment required and to stop in today. I drove out of my way since this business has good reviews and that the woman on the phone was so friendly. I arrived at 4:20pm today since posted hours are till 6pm. Sadly the business is closed even though it shows open on Unilocal.Guess I need to find another place. Disappointing.

Hands down the best place to go if you are a parent who experiences a child getting head lice. The ladies here are amazing and made my children very relaxed with movies, gentleness and even a toy at the end of their treatment. First time for my kids getting lice from school and if you ever experience this please come here! Can’t beat the price and the comfort it brings to know your child is comfortable during this process.

Unfortunately, my daughter has needed their services more than once thanks to my ex sister in law. They are friendly and efficient. A little pricey but it’s worth the peace of mind.

Five weeks after we had lice in the house, we thought it was back again. The school said that the kid had nits, and it sure looked like she did, but she also had a lot of dandruff, so I just didn’t know…
After a horrible experience at Nit Pixies last time (see the review), I found Comb it Out on Unilocal.
The pediatrician said that the kid’s hair looked like it was just dandruff, but I came to have a wet check just to put my mind at ease. And, why not get myself checked, too? The young man and young lady who helped us were sooooo thorough! The kid got to watch a movie, and I got to read a book while these employees painstakingly combed through our heads, looking for the little pests. Luckily, none were to be found! It was totally worth the money and the drive to have peace of mind.
The employees were really nice and attentive to us, which made this a less frantic experience. Plus, the kid and I got to sport some fancy braids for the ride home! Oh, and kids get to pick a toy from the treasure chest. I was sad that I was not able to take home a Hello Kitty ring, but I guess that’s the cost of being a grown-​up.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the woman on the phone was dishonest with me about something having to do with canceling an appointment. If she had just said, «sorry, but our policy requires 24-​hour notice», that would have been okay. But, to claim that they could not refund the money because someone else was turned away from that appointment time (when the website showed that there clearly was still space at that time, AND I had just made the appointment an hour ago, leaving little time to turn away the masses) made me question their ethics. Honesty goes a long way.

Found a nasty little lice bug while doing my daughters hair one day. I immediately treated her at home but was nervous about my other daughter being possibly infested as well. Having a personal anxiety and fear of lice I was relieved when I found this nifty place which was fairly close to where I live. Availability is amazing and flexible. I was able to book an early appointment the next day. Kayla did a wet hair check for my daughter who has very natural long, thick and coarse hair. I was a little nervous as my daughter is tender headed and her hair easily matts but Kayla combed through her hair with ease and my daughter didn’t cry at all. I can honestly say I was impressed how she was able to deal with natural african American hair texture with ease. Thankfully my daughter was nit and lice free and was happy to pick out a toy from the toy chest at the end of her visit. I returned a second time to get a wet check done on my youngest who has a stranger anxiety and was happy how patient and confident Alex was when combing through my shy /​whining child’s head. She worked diligently and was very friendly. I love the after care products that they have available and the techniques they teach you definitely leave you more confident and stress free. The inside of the facility is brightly lit and clean and very kid friendly. I highly recommend !

My niece had nits (yuck) and we treated her at home. We went here for a check up and needed a school note. The process couldn’t have been any easier. My niece is 4 and has the attention span of a gold fish lol. They provided a movie for her to watch while they conducted a thorough check. Pamela, made my niece look like a princess after she was all clear. Thanks Pamela, you rock!
