Eye Site Optometry

Left this place so angry, I can’t see straight (figuratively and literally)! First off all I wanted were some glasses and an eye exam for glasses. I noted that on my online appointment and mentioned it again when I walked in the office. I was surprised when the doctor had me try on some contacts, but I thought it was just to try on. To my surprise I was billed $ 99 for contact fitting! Secondly, the perception was all wrong. When looking at the eye exam chart, I kept saying «I think the letters are… when I look real hard.» When I made it home I saw the prescription was WAY off from my old ones, no wonder I was having a hard time seeing on my drive home. And third, apparently men are more important than women at this office! I was left standing there like an idiot. The guy «helping» me pick out glasses left me standing there for about 10 minutes. I thought he was looking up how to open the glass case, because he couldn’t figure it out. As things turned out he left me standing there to help the male customer. So now I wasted my yearly insurance allotment for my eye exam, because I sure as hell am not going back there, and the eye glass and contact prescription are way off so I can’t get either one!

I had more than two service discrepancies with Eye Site Optometry. Most recently ordered new frames and they said stop by and well «pop’ them in. After working on them for 25 minutes it was suggested to send them to someone who had the proper tools, but the staff did not follow through. One hour 20 minutes later lenses just wouldn’t „pop“ in. I took my broken glasses back as I had an event to attend. Went back Monday, picked up the frames, took them to another business and the glasses were fixed in less than 2 minutes. The proper thing to do was say“We cant fix these but well find someone who can». It really is that simple.
There is a huge focus on money at Eye site. They continually talk about what you owe, as if they will not get paid. When a service is provided, I pay my bill. I don’t need annoying reminders. Dr Pham always changes the conversation to how much is owed. May her wallet get a bit lighter. And she has a very sassy attitude. Unprofessional at best.

This place is excellent. It was my first time having an eye exam. Dr. Pham, Veronica and other staff were happy, educational and helpful. I had to have my eyes dilated. The doctor made me feel comfortable and explained how I would feel afterwards. I picked up my glasses today and love them!

Most of the staff people were nice here but I was not impressed with Dr. Pham. I have always had great vision and went in to get some reading glasses to use at the computer. She did not explain what she was doing the whole exam and would get really frustrated when I asked her to stop and explain.
She also told me that I had extremely high pressure in both of my eyes. After visiting a second doctor for a different opinion, they told me that I have normal pressure and its nothing to worry about. This office uses old equipment that does not give accurate readings and is extremely over priced (I paid over 250 $ for READING GLASSES!!).
Would never recommend to anyone who values their time and health.

This place stinks now. I had been coming to this location for over 20 years before the original doc retired. Now this Dr Pham took over and the service went to shit. I placed an order for new contacts a month ago. I used a 50 credit that my insurance company provides and paid the remaing balance. I never received a call that my order arrived so i called to check on it. I was then told that i could not pick up my order until a billing issue from last year was resolved with said insurance company. I had to call the insurance company who told me they did pay the contracted rate. Long story short. The doctors accounting methods suck and the service blows. I ended up canceling my order and getting a refund. Taking my business elsewhere. Boooooo to this dump.

My 1^st visit to see Dr Karen Pham, it has been unprofessional and frustrating! I only wanted an eye exam, but at checkout, I was billed a contact lens fitting of $ 75.00 which I did not receive, nor did I want. The receptionist claims that each time you get a eye exam you must get a new fitting again and again and again. I did not believe this so I called 3 other doctors in the area to confirm. All 3 said that the fitting is offered to their customers before the exam, but it’s not necessary, especially if the patient has used contact lenses before. To make matters worse, I tried to order contacts online, and Dr Pham would not release my prescription. Lastly, she is only in the office once or twice per week with limited hours so it makes it hard to communicate. If you don’t mind surprises at checkout and your time wasted, Dr Karen Pham is the doctor for you!

I have been going to this office for years the original optometrist retired and Dr. Pham took over she and her staff are very nice… HOWEVER nice isn’t enough. My glasses were to be ordered 12/​12/​2014 to be back in 7 – 10 bus days. I called today and the office staff said Davis vision my carrier was behind and it would be 2 more weeks. I called Davis vision and they are behind however my order wasn’t submitted until 12/​18/​2014 and I still have to wait 2 more weeks. So EVERYONE failed me the costumer I paid my money and I couldn’t even get a call with an update I’m doing all the research. This is making me take a long pause when it comes to continuing to give Eye site my business my entire family has used this office. I’m stuck with Davis for a year but not Eye Site.

I was referred here by my husband who’s been going here for years. The staff is friendly & helpful. Dr. Pham was very knowledgeable & thorough with her exam. They have a wide range selection of frames in styles & prices. Their follow up was quick. I love that they use email and telephone reminders. Oh & their location is great if you’re in between errands and want to grab lunch dinner or just do shopping afterwards.

Never thought I would review an Optometrist & Office .
But just had to spread the word and say thanks.
Easy to schedule (I even had to reschedule and no problem at all)
All the staff and Dr Pham are wonderful.
Very pleasant and more than happy to spend needed time with me, answering a lot of questions. And working well with my insurance.
Both had input on glass styles and pros and cons to different frame choices.
Not a factory… get the sale type of place.
I was so thrilled with my new glasses … went back to get prescription sunglasses

Iv been coming here for years and always loved the way they welcome me and got my frames they had lots of options so that always a plus my glasses arrived real fast so I was very happy :) I recommend coming here !!

My husband and I contacted Eye Site because we were so unhappy with our last eye care provider due to lousy service, pushy salespeople, high prices and long waits (a corporate eye chain of course). We were pleasantly surprised by the Eye Site office in Concord. I called on Monday and had our appointments set up for Tuesday. The office people were super friendly, very helpful in keeping our costs down, had great taste in frames and got us in and out of there quickly without leaving us feeling rushed. The optometrist, Dr. Lasusky, was great, too. You could tell he had a wealth of experience, did a thorough exam, asked relevant questions and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Eye Site to anyone, especially those of us who are done with «Corporate America» and want personal service. This is the place to go for quality eye care.

Everyone I spoke with here was very friendly and I’m completely satisfied with my experience with them from start to finish.
The Dr. did a thorough eye exam for my prescription. There was a very good selection of frames to chose from and my complete set of glasses was ready in less than a week.
I always prefer to patronize local family owned businesses whenever possible, and in this case I’m extremely happy I found Eye Site and team.

Came in for a contact exam, the doctor was very funny, helpful, and competent. I appreciated the service I received here, and I love the location.
I will say that the staff seems to TRY VERY HARD to be nice and friendly. This may or may not be their strength in life, but it is very apparent that they make efforts to provide courteous and friendly customer service.

Eye came in one day for new frames.
Wow the woman whom helped me was really awesome, I told her I wanted a fun, kind of edgy, and colored frame. I also wanted to keep with the size of my lense of my current frame too.
She was amazing, she pulled frames for me to try on, it was hard for me tell what looked good on me because I am blind as a bat with out my glasses.
I finally narrowed down my frame but wanted it in a different color, they were happy to order it for me without cost, a lot of other places would charge you a deposit, or you’d have to pay for it before ordering.
I tried them on when they came in and loved the color, ordered them, and less than a week later they were in.
I have received a lot of compliments on them, and have been told they make my eyes pop too!

I received a routine eye exam here. The doctor wasn’t too bad, but the rest of his staff was horrible. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a medical office. They were rude, snappy and demeaning to me and other patients in the office at the time.
I thought it could of just been a «bad day at the office.» I tried to give them all the benefit of the doubt. I returned a second time to check on my contact prescription. To my amazement, they were even more unfriendly the second time. I really don’t know how this practice stays in business.
I have long since taken my business somewhere else.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
