Jack in the Box

2 visits and both were horrible due ordering #6 and receiving cold fries and nuke warm burger patty! Didn’t know u have to specify FRESH IS WANTED!

If I could give no stars I would. The night crew needs to go. And i hope management is reading this. I decided to stop by jack in the box (which is rare) around 12:50. I never go there so I wanted to look at the menu, and on top of that I had four other people in the car with me who wanted to order. So we stop at the first menu where you can wait and check it out, but two cars pulled up right after that, so we moved up like any other person would. We pull up and instantly no hi or hello how’s it going, it’s simply «you know what you want?». I said «no please give me a second». Maybe 45 seconds later as I’m speaking to the other people in my car I hear «you know what you want now». I said «I’m so sorry I have four other people in my car who are also ordering so please give me a second». I then get back «yeah well you need to hurry because we can’t take this much time on you order there are other cars». Which yes was true there were other cars behind me. But there was also other cars in front of me, so what was the big deal I took a few minutes figuring out what I want, from somewhere I don’t ever go to??? Again I hope management is reading because you really need to figure it out. I’m done with jack in the crack!

Been there twice in the mornings using the drive through. Decently priced breakfast it is cheaper than McDonald’s and the hash brown is better. $ 1.49 breakfast jack is a good deal. Had no service issues at all in the morning.

Came here at 4am to grab some food before i head off to work it was okay, the tacos were good and so was the steak and egg burrito BUT THEY NEVER GIVE YOU ENOUGH RANCH which is why I gave it a 2 stars. I NEED MY RANCH!!!

So I come at 1 am to order with my buddy because we were in the area and hungry
So we pull up to the mic and waited 2 mins for somone to take our order. Once somone spoke she said «what do you want «with attitude, that made me loss my appetite so my buddy just ordered something quick. I waited about 6 mins for my order and as I finnaly pull up the «manager «doesn’t say anything, I just hand her the card and that’s it. Then I nicely asked her «was that you that toke my order ?» Then she says «si? Porque? «then I said» well because you sounded a little bit rude when you toke my order «then she says «aggghhh» then slams the F’ING window on me ??? Just to tell you that your rude? Worst customers service, like if you hate your job so much just quit and be a POS forever, I would never ever ever recommend this jack in the box, if you want jack go to Pittsburg jack, there actually nice and understanding.

Been here multiple times but this time was the deal breaker for me. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! So we drive in, I immediately order 2 orders of tacos and have another person in the car that was looking at the menu and deciding what he wanted. He took about a minute to look it over and a car appeared behind us. We still weren’t done ordering and the cashier asked if we were getting anything else (and had down this about 2 times within that minute). I said «no, my friend is still deciding. Give me a second!». Then the cashier rudely and abruptly said,“well hurry up because there’s cars behind you!!”. So my friend was forced to look over the menu quickly because he felt rushed. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had at jack in the box and this location in general is horrible from past experiences. Their drive through speakers are defective or something because I always have to repeat myself multiple times (or the employees aren’t listening) or they have gotten my order wrong multiple tines (forgetting to put at item in my bag or giving me the wrong item). I would never recommend this jack in the box to anyone, ever!!!

This is not about the food, however this is about their service.
The total came to $ 7.15, but the one giving us our food decided to try to get an extra dollar from us and say it was $ 8.15.
So be aware of this scam from this store.

it’s 2am… at this time your either super drunk or who knows… this Jacks has NEVER gave me a problem. I enjoy going here at this time to get a quick bite to eat. The workers enjoy my drunk self as well so that’s a plus! I don’t know the workers name but this person is a QUEEN and the service is always great!

The food is ok but the big thing that got me was the awful drive thru service.
The magnet on my card is a little wonky and the morning crew has always made it work or typed my number in.
The 1 am crew was not only chit chatting with each other but they refused to type in my card number. Literally refused when I stated thats all she had to. She was too busy talking to her friend to listen to me. They were lazy and they lacked in customer service.
I understand its late but if you dont like your job, quit!
If you plan to go during late hours prepare yourself for catty workers and disappointing service.

I would have given this JITB negative stars if there was an option! Ordered a chocolate milkshake, they gave me cookies n crème! Ordered meat lovers burrito, it was so small and you know that the tortilla wrap is old because its dry and brown already! Happened to us twice now! Ordered a large iced mocha, they gave me a bucket full of ice, the coffee was barely there! Smh!

I bought a number 11 and a number 9 and the number 11 chicken was all burned so I hope I don’t get no burned Hamburger ever again bc I will call the main head quarter of Jack in the box and give negative feed back about them

Horrible customer service skills, poor attitude especially from the gay guy who gives you attitude for asking a question. Mind you I spoke to him twice in both English and Spanish still a complete d***. If you don’t like your job then don’t be an ass to people.

A nasty, decrepit, stinking hole in a building where they make stuff similar to real food. Somehow, it feels more like a 5 star resturant around 3am coming back from the city. thanks for being there JITB

Ok so I’ve been here a few more times and it’s gotten better, some of the employees don’t speak English to well, but it’s getting there

Fast food is plentiful on Monument, and Jack is one of the better options. Expensive for fast food, but they do a great variety of options on their menu. I’m still a sucker for Jack’s egg rolls (conveniently available as a single item or a three item order!) dipped in their buttermilk ranch sauce — seriously, try it, you’ll thank me (or maybe hate me). Food here has been consistent, no weird experiences at the drive-​thru menu, so no complaints.
A funny sidenote: for some reason this particular Jack In The Box comes in very handy as a landmark. There is an awesome chinese restaurant next door that actually has «Next Door To Jack In The Box» printed on their take-​out menu, and everyone uses this Jack as the landmark to find the hidden treasure Sushi Momoyama. As claims to fame go, they could definitely do worse.

I went through the drive-​thru on my way home because I was hungry and didn’t want to cook. I ordered the BLT burger, which is new, curly fries and a medium coke. The medium sizes at these places keep getting bigger and bigger. It’s ridiculous now. I’m at the window waiting for my food and I can see the employees inside just looking angry, and depressed. The girl at the window was texting on her phone, right in front of me with the window open. I don’t care if there is nothing else to do. Don’t text in front of customers. If you do, maybe go somewhere where we can’t see you. The fries were hot which is good. The burger was really nothing special. A flat burger, with bacon on the side of the container instead of inside the burger. I’m not looking for gourmet food which is why I didn’t mind the food, but you really need to work on your service.

Sick and tired to death of the idiots who work here who apparently don’t understand the english language. No Mustard means do not put mustard on my burger. No ketchup means… don’t put ketchup on my burger. When I order a strawberry shake, don’t give me a chocolate one. And when I complain about these thinks, do not pick then to act like you do not speak/​understand english, although 3 minutes ago, you were able to tell me how much I owed you for the order you were about to screw up.
In conclusion, screw you Monument Blvd. Jack in the Box. Your hiring practices suck.

This place is probably one of the worst jack in the boxes in the bay area. This time they forgot some of the food we ordered through the drive through and other things. They’re dirty and their food sucks. It’s usually old and reheated. The quality is definitely not one of their strong attributes. I wouldnt even give this place a star really. This is definitely a $hit hole.

I believe this is a result of franchise vs. a corporately owned one. The one on Contra Costa Blvd is corporately owned and lives up to higher standards. Besides, the prices are cheaper there and they have all the deals that you see advertised. Another Unilocaler mentioned this place needed a good scrub. Yes, I strongly agree.
Then again, this place is located on Monument Blvd, and we all know how that are is turning into a dump.. .. sigh.

With all the great food in the Bay area, guess what I was craving on my visit this week? While I loves me some Moroccan at Aziza or maybe some crepes at Ti Couz, every now and then you just wanna get nasty! So today, totally sober and sane, I stopped by Jack in the Box for my greasy Sourdough Jack and Two for a Buck Tacos…
What’s there to say about JITB but it’ll fill you up on the cheap. Love the Sourdough Jack’s grilled bread and the combo of bacon, tomato and cheese, uhm-​uhm. And those mystery tacos with some sort of meat or protein-​based filling? Don’t ask and they won’t tell. All I know is if you slam some hot sauce in there, dee-​licious! The only problem with fast food at JITB is as quickly as you can devour it, is about as quickly as it comes out. How often do you have a meal that has you thinking: I’m going to be feeling ill in about 45 minutes?!
Anyhow, JITB is one of those must-do’s while visiting the West coast. It’s not healthy, it’ll blow your diet and cholesterol level through the roof but who cares?!
