I’ve called Manuel to give me a quote to replace an AC unit, that stopped working right in a middle of that heat wave and my tenants were screaming for help.
That bad AC unit for my rental house in Concord, was fixed a numerous times before and that was the time to get the new one, for sure.
Also I’ve asked Manuel to give me an optional quote for an AC unit replacement for my own house in Walnut Creek… that unit was ok, but an old, outdated and leaking constantly.

Manny installed our Central Heat & Air system around 1998 and was right there for us when we had a problem last night. We did some basic diagnostics over the phone at 830pm but when those didn’t resolve it, he postponed a fishing trip with his wife by a few hours so he could be at our place first thing on a Saturday morning. He arrived right when he said he’d be here, remembered our kids names, and even described our old kitchen layout — something he hadn’t seen in 15 years! Our problem turned out to be a blown fuse in the outside control panel which he quickly repaired and our system was fully functional. When I asked what he thought about a replacement unit, he said that it was still functioning well and we shouldn’t need a new one for a few years. He could have sold me on a new system but took the time to look into the problem thoroughly and did what was best for his customer.

Manny is the best! When we moved into our home the new air conditioning and heat was put through the 110. We kept blowing the fuses, and the air would not work. Manny came out redid all the wiring put in the 220 and actually saved our lives. He said the way it was set up it could of not only caught our house but our neighbors house on fire. I wouldn’t have anyone else come to my house, and he just put in a whole new system for my sister. He actually told her she didn’t need a new unit but she decided to go ahead because it was older and she trusted Manny.

Manny recently helped me with a broken furnace at one of my rentals. He kindly brought space heaters with him at the inspection to make sure my tenants and their kids stayed warm. That kind of thoughtfulness is a rare commodity these days. I had been told that I would need to replace the entire unit by one of his big competitors. Manny looked at it and said yes, it was old but it just needed a few minor repairs and it would be as good as gold. And, it is! For $ 475 he repaired my unit instead of the $ 5000 – 7000 the other company would have charged me. I am thankful for his good work. Make sure to call around before replacing your unit. I would not use one of the big companies. They seem to all want to replace the unit even if it’s not necessary. Thank you Manny.
