SG Construction did a great job installing a new front yard fence. I was pleasantly surprised after they wrapped up the job in one day.
Had some back and forth with Scott to set up the work, give estimates for different options, and followed it up with an onsite visit. Was pretty easy to schedule in a timely manner.
Alex and the rest of Scott’s friendly crew did an amazing job installing a beautiful new Redwood fence that I’m very happy with. Would recommend.

Hmmmm… left a message on March 3^rd requesting a call back for an estimate appointment. Never head back! Very rude — where’s the customer service? Military not need the business. I rec’d call backs from 3 other local companies and have taken my business elsewhere!

Woof! Grrr… the rest of the fence was beginning to fall. so my master called Scott & his crew to take care of it. He scheduled them, and it was done in the planned 3 – 4 days! Woof! Now I can play! Unfortunately, he found out a about bunch of problems that his ex employee JP left him… and I know Scott will do his best to take care of it. I know my master would call him again if he needed work. In fact, I heard him talking about a «pool shed» in the Spring! Grr. Woof! And the workers were dog friendly!

Our house feels like a home again! Scott you have a great crew and did a wonderful job! Starting and finishing as scheduled. JP worked with us on the bid. Thank you JP. SG worked with us to get fence design during construction that would work best for our house. He placed a portion of the fence up and told us to think about it for a day (how it would look around our property) before completing the job. SG took pride making sure that we were satisfied with the end product. SG followed up a few days later to make sure that property was clean to our satisfaction and if we had any additional questions. Thank you again!

I had SG Construction do work on my master bath and guest bathroom a little over 2 years ago to remediate mold, fix a water damaged subfloor, replace two toilets, and repair some tile work in the master shower. Now I’m in the middle of selling my home and when I had 2 inspections done, the inspectors found that the work was not done properly! The master bath toilet was loose and when repaired it was found that it was improperly installed witha broken flange. Also when looking under the master bath, inspectors still found mold, rotted wood, pipe straps cut and not replaced, as well as a disconnected pipe for drainage for the master spa tub. To say I’m beyond disappointed is an understatement. Thousands of dollars wasted on a poor job!!! If you want to hire him, do so at your own risk!!! To make matters worse, we tried to contact Scott about the poor work and he remembered the job, but never followed up with us when he said he would stop by and take a look at the damage. We tried to set up a day and time and when it was time to commit to a scheduled time, he never responded. Poor workmanship and poor customer service. Who knows who else has been scammed by this guy!

Super happy with our awesome new fence! Scott and has team were responsive in the estimate process. The price was fair and when the day for the build came, JP and Alex and the crew were awesome! So fast and quality craftsmanship! We highly recommend them!

JP was great on the first contact and went out to our property. However, it is more than three weeks later and we have yet to receive an estimate. It doesn’t matter how good the first contact is if there is no follow through and you can’t get your fence built.

Solid 5 stars for this company. Awesome job by the team lead by Alex. Did a 60×20 gated fence just in one day! JP quoted me a reasonable price, prompt response to my estimate request, very professional and friendly too. Already recommended them to a friend for a patio work. Outstanding experience doing business with SG construction.

These guys built a flawless fence at a reasonable price. I paid them to stain it and i must say they did a flawless job at that too. Not one spec of over spray or missed area.
There was a miscommunication on the height of the fence but IScott the project lead handled it very well. He even offered to rebuild it and I said no. They also replaced the latches upon my request. Any future fence needs I’m going right to SG.

SG Construction is the best «bang for your buck» as far as fences go. They do phenomenal work, use high quality wood, and are pleasant and professional. Plus, their price is the same if not cheaper than other companies who don’t do as good a job and use cheaper materials. I couldn’t be more pleased with our new fence, and random people driving through the neighborhood have stopped to admire the fence! You can’t go wrong with SG Construction.

I called SG Construction 2 years ago for a fence estimate. JP came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I called back about a month ago to finally go ahead with the project and JP remembered exactly who I was and he was incredibly helpful getting me set up. The crew came out and did an amazing job on my fences. I highly recommend them. You won’t find better customer service anywhere else.

A wind storm blew down our shared 70+’ fence. All contractors at the time were busy and left a message with SG. JP called back with a quick appointment for a quote. He was able to get the quote back within a business day. The day of install he came to meet and do a walk through before construction. Gave very helpful advice and very professional throughout the whole transaction. He was very engaged with his workers and could tell they have a very tight team. Coming home after it was complete was better than I imagined. Everything was very precise. I also had them do a gate in the front which turned out very nice as well and included all the hardware.
Overall: Very professional, Very precise, No mess and Priced well.
Just let them know where you want the extra dirt from the holes they dig the posts.

We have a beautiful new fence, done in just two days and to our specifications. JP and Scott were so easy to work with, gave us a reasonable quote, and helped us immensely to define the details of the job including the shape of the gate, the type of lattice, the type of wood, and hardware. Will definitely call these guys again when we need the side fence replaced!

Great company. I couldn’t ask for anything more. JP is great; got an estimate and a fully built fence in a week. The workers showed up on time and did a wonderful job on my fence and gate. I’m not used to it being this easy. Thanks JP and SG construction for making the process painless.

A portion of my fence was destroyed in a windstorm and SG came in to make the repairs. SG had excellent workmanship and very quick response times both to estimate the work and complete the work. I believe I called on a Saturday, had the estimate that Monday, and the 67′ of fence complete on Thursday of the same week. Came to about 30 $/​lf for my work including pressure treated kick-​board.

I have had some pretty awful contractors but this company deserves their five star rating. I called a couple other fencing companies one in which never showed up on two different appointment times.
I decided to use Unilocal for a referral and I’m glad I did. JP came to my home and showed up on time. Right away I liked JP he has an honest face (some of these workers even look like scam artists). JP did not try to push for more work than what was needed. My whole fence was leaning but JP suggested fixing portions as he thought I could squeeze a few more years out of the life span of my fence. JP sent me a written quote which was a very fair price. He was only $ 100 more than a carpenter quoted to do my gate and a split rail fence. The communication was clear with the company. They showed up on time, they were clean, professional and finished my gate and fence within one day. I also really liked that the owner Scott stopped by and came to talk to me to make sure I liked the change in plans for my gate before they did it. Turns out what the guys suggested ended up looking perfect. I love my gate and my split rail fence!!!
If you need a fence or a repair don’t even bother getting other quotes save yourself the hassle and call SG Construction. When my fence completely dies on me I will be having this company do my whole fence! Excellent company and workers!!!

We bought a new house that needed substantial exterior work, so we’ve worked with many contractors over the last several weeks. Scott and the SG Construction crew are top notch and as good as it gets. We got several bids and they were not only the most reasonable, but also the most responsive. We were so impressed with their work ethic. They had to knock down an old large chicken coop and the old fencing before commencing work, but they still managed to have the new fence up by the end of the day.
The fence looked awesome. The crew were great to work with, making adjustments last minute for us when we wanted the fence to be a foot higher they had planned. If you are looking to get a new fence up, there’s no better place to go than Scott and his team at SG Construction.

We love our new deck and fences (and clubhouse for the kids!) — thank you Scott, Alex and crew! Scott is honest and fair and patient — he comes prepared and on time and with great ideas in mind. He wants to be sure that you are happy. The work was done fast and professional and the crew does amazing clean ups along the way. I knew that we were going to get a new and improved look but in the end, everything was 10x more beautiful then I could have imagined. My only complaint is that we should have booked them years ago! We needed about 80′ of fencing and 85′ retaining wall replaced. We secured several bids and decided upon SG Construction.
We are so pleased with the results! Scott & his crew were on time, conscientious, competent and finished ahead of schedule.
I consider myself a decent judge of character. Scott exudes integrity and professionalism. Furthermore, his employees seem happy. That’s a biggie to me! I passed on a different fence company because I observed them mistreating their workers on a job site.
My wife & I give SG Construction our highest recommendation.
