Love this place! Super close to my house which is a plus. Most of the girls know me by name which is nice. Great atmosphere, very clean, one of the best polish selections, mimosas! I usually get the $ 40 pedicure which is great has some extra massage. Never had a problem with any of the nail techs. Na is my girl! Cici is also great! One of my favorite parts is at the end when your drying your nails, you get a neck/​back massage !

Love this nail spa! It’s very savvy inside with the décor ~ the atmosphere is still upbeat and relaxing at the same time! All the ladies are greatly talented & professional! Exceptional customer service ~ the manicures & pedicures are top service! And they do some of the best work! Polish always lasts! The hospitality is on point: mimosas, beverages and all!

I enjoyed a Sunday with friends at Coco Blue this past weekend. We had a great experience. The staff were great, the services were wonderful, and loved all the little touches– parafin for our dehydrated skin, massage while my polish was drying, and mimosas to enjoy your time gabbing with friends. They had a huge selection of polish and plenty of add ons to make your time there 5stars! Will definitely be back!

Really great place! I went in without an apt on Friday afternoon and was seen almost immediately. There is a fridge with drinks when you come in, but I was not offered a drink (I assume mainly because I was getting a mani, not a pedi). I did see some people drinking the buzzed about mimosas in their pedi chairs though!
They had an awesome selection of polish. I hate when cheap salons use off brands, but this place had all opi and a selections of opi, Gelish and shellac for gel.
I had Kay and she was wonderful. She paid close attention to detail, always wiping away any polish that got on my skin (not much anyway). For all the cleanliness freaks out there, I did see all the techs thoroughly scrub their tools with antiseptic and place them back into the sterilizer machines.
I admit, $ 45 for a French gel mani is a bit steep– but I did get an excellent mani that took about 40 minutes. While I was drying my top coat she gave me a nice shoulder massage for 2 minutes. She gave me a nice hand and arm massage with the scented lotion and even finished by putting some drops of lemon essential oil on my wrists. A nice touch, but if I could spend a few bucks less, I wouldn’t miss the massage and oil.
I will be back here again, but on days I’m feeling cheap I’ll probably go to the little place two houses to the right that was advertising $ 20 gel manis!

I agree with most of the reviews here. Coco Blue is the best place to get your nails done around the area. You get the most amazing service, including beverages, a hot stone massage, and friendly staff. Although some people think it’s pricey, I’m willing to pay for good service. This is the only time I have ever been loyal to a nail salon before. I only go to Coco! Can’t recommend it enough.

Went in to get a refill for an acrylic set. The manager told me that they don’t deal with acrylic but they can put gel on my set. I told her I don’t have a lot of time, I’m very picky, and I want my nails long. I was going to leave but she STRONGLY stated that they could easily buff down the acrylic, that my nails would come out perfect. I was already there so I agreed to stay. I was extremely upset when I looked at my one hand and there was two big bumps on my nail. The manicurist was very apologetic and said she could take off the acrylic but it would take awhile. I ended up spending 2 ½ hours for very short nails. I asked to speak to the manager, and the owner dealt with me. She helped finish my nails, and said I only had to pay $ 20. I gave the manicurist a $ 20 tip, as it was not her fault and she was very kind. I will NEVER go back to a business that upfront misleads you, you leave with nails that you didn’t ask for and do not like. Oh, the owner kept saying how my short nails look great. Thank you, but I didn’t want and don’t like short nails. 2 ½ hours, $ 40, and I hate my nails. Thank you!

I recently moved from NYC where you can find $ 20 mani-​pedis on every block, and it’s taken me a while to find a place in Philly that’s worth the higher price tag. This place is definitely it! The basic pedicure is $ 28 cash, and it includes a salt scrub, hot stone foot massage, parrafin for your heels, neck and shoulder massage, and free drinks. Like, mimosa drinks. The pedicure itself lasts a long time, as well. Great experience!

Had a great experience here. My sister and I received massages on a Friday and it was super easy to make the reservation. They accommodated us so we were able to get massages in the same room at the same time. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by all the employees. They were all super sweet. They offered us soda, water, snacks and mimosas. Yum!!! We both received the «special» massage. It was 60 minutes for $ 95.00. We received a Swedish massage with hot towels and hot rocks. It’s very popular among the regular customers that come there. Loved the hot rocks! It was both our first experience with it. I will definitely be back whether I get another massage of mani/​pedi.

I was very impressed with the service here! They give you a lot of options, like if its okay to do your mani at the same time as your pedi. I never felt uncomfortable, which is a great change to when I typically get my nails done! They offer drinks and a wide array of services. You get a loyalty card — 2 stamps per pedi and one stamp per mani, reach 20 stamps and you get a $ 15 credit! I choose to get the regular pedi ($ 30) and it was very well done, includes massage and hot stone application as well! I also got a regular mani ($ 15), so the services are competitively priced for the area and for what you get. It is extremely clean and the staff are wonderful! I will definitely be back. Doesn’t hurt that its only 2 miles from my house!

The clear coat started peeling off within 2 days, but left the color still on my nails… I’ve never seen that happen. Pretty disappointing honestly. I expected it to last much longer.

I had gelish manicure and pedicure. I read the reviews before so I ordered a mimosa and enjoyed more the manicure than the regular pedicure, which it was just OK. They have a lot of brands and color gel options and the girl that received me friendly without an appointment helped me to choose my polish. During my manicure I received a relaxing massage in my back and also in my hands, so it’s a good place to be pampered.
I enjoyed my visit but it was a little bit overpriced, I payed $ 80 ($ 30 for pedicure and the rest for gel off ($ 5) and French design gel manicure) :(
You can receive a $ 2 discount if paying in cash and receive a loyalty card where you can get a free manicure for some points.

Love this spa! You can tell the staff cares a lot about their customers’ comfort level– they go above and beyond to make this a relaxing experience. I’ve come for a mani and the coco special pedicure– while they took a little longer than other places, they worked hard to make sure the work was perfect. They also immediately offered drinks, which other places never do unless you ask for water! I can’t wait until I can come back for another mani pedi, but it looks like the work is going to last!

What an adorable and welcoming place! I visited Coco Blue for the first time on Sunday and had a great experience. The women who work there are so nice and they took my friend and I right away without any appointments. We were offered mimosas, coffee, tea, soda, or water as soon as we sat down. The place is SUPER clean and very updated. I only got a manicure, but the pedicure stations looked really nice. I’m excited to come back closer to spring to get one. I ended up getting a Vinylux mani which is not the gel mani, but lasts almost as long. You don’t have to put your hands under the UV lamps which is why I got it. A regular manicure is $ 15 and the one I got was $ 20. The only thing I’m sad about is that I did not know this place existed earlier! You get a «frequent buyer» card when you go and after 20 visits, you receive a free mani. Very excited to go back as soon as my nails begin to chip!
Two tips:
1. They do not accept tips on credit cards so make sure to bring cash with you as well.
2. If you pay for your entire manicure (again, I only got a manicure so I’m not sure on the pedi) with cash, you get a dollar off.

Gel manicures are overpriced. Can go anywhere else in the area and pay less and still end up with the same results. Some people like all the massage, etc., I prefer to just get a good manicure. Will not be going back.

I had a FANTASTIC experience at Coco Blue yesterday. It was such a relaxing place to get nails done. Such a refreshing change from the overcrowded Manayunk salons. I opted for the basic manicure, pedicure and eye brow wax. Would definitely recommend!!!

Went here for gel manicure. First girl who started the manicure complained that another girl finished before her so she should have been doing my manicure. So they switched without saying a word to me. The next girl was nice enough, a little rough, did an ok job but then I found out the price. When I went to pay she said $ 35 for gel manicure and then mumbled $ 5 for something inaudible. Whatever, just wanted to get out so I didn’t question it. If you pay in cash you get a discount. Ended up paying $ 38 plus tip for a so so manicure. I won’t be back. The plus-​place looks clean and is a nice environment.
