Just cross the threshold of the Office of Orestes «Pupi» and Grisel García, is easy to follow their long and fruitful career in event planning through the photos that hang from the walls of the company that began 14 years ago: A Matter of Taste. In 1986, the couple began their first entrepreneurial adventure with the opening of the firm Château Banquet Hall at 4162 W. 12th Avenue in Hialeah. They quickly became popular and the Château Banquet Hall became a center of social gatherings, a place where celebrations of weddings and quinceaños to corporate and political banquets took place. One of the things that distinguished themselves in the market was «grandiose entries» to wedding parties. They were the first to offer helicopter service for the betrothed couple to surprised their guests arriving at their wedding reception. In 1995, they registered their signature A Matter of Taste, since then their business has emerged successfully.“We are privilege to work in what we love”.

Founder, Vice Pres. and Chief Creative Officer of «A Matter of Taste» Catering & Event Planning Unlimited, she is the creative force behind the company’s designer events. Her unfaltering enthusiasm, attention to client’s needs and her commitment to her client’s satisfaction are the key ingredients for their return year after year as well as their referrals. Each event no matter its size or purpose is the product of a plan that involves creative concepts, disciplined, coordination and impeccable execution of events. From pampering her clients, the food, beverage, décor, linens, music and overall flow, nothing outweighs nothing outweighs anything else in importance, all aspects of an event are hold equally. Her catering and planning skills also serve our community for charitable events such as The Janelle’s Wishing Well Foundation, Voices Against Brain Cancer, Veterans Association, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Alonzo Mourning Foundation. She is passionate about her events!
