The emergence of new technology and computers always interested me. It all started with an Apple IIe in the early eighties that my Dad got the family for Christmas. I was young at the time but I remember watching my brothers play games from the floppy drive and it was surely a step up from the Atari that we had. I would sit there in amazement and had no clue what the future would hold for computers.
My mother spent over $ 3,000 on our Acer Desktop PC and as soon as we got home and unboxed it I promptly cracked open the case to see what was inside. A few months went by and I convinced my mom to upgrade the RAM, I assured her that I could install it myself after doing some research. She reluctantly obliged and as I secured the chip in the correct slot I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen next. Sure enough it was a success! I was hooked at that point forward.
