Twice now, I’ve had screw-​ups with paperwork that have cost me money. The first was relatively minor — they didn’t send in the paperwork for me to get the full rebate when I ordered the iPhone 6. (One of their temporary employees lied to me about there being no upfront costs for the phone, as well.) But overall, it was still a good deal, however annoying it was to deal with at the time.
However, now, I’m stuck paying for two defunct phones, only one of which is justified. My daughter bought a Galaxy S5 on my account, which was defective. She also was trying to transfer a number from another phone company, which didn’t work. By way of apology, Juan traded the S5 for an S6. When, she lost the S6, I discontinued the line, and it wasn’t until then that I noticed I was paying for *two* phones — one of which was the S5 we traded in back in April! Somebody must have sent in the paperwork for the first phone; there is a completely separate number for the payment agreement.
Nobody is able to make it right until we turn in the phone we already turned in months ago. The guys in the store said «We don’t take phones and our manager wouldn’t have done that.» Well, he did, and I’m screwed. I can’t even change phone companies until all this is paid for. So, if you use Verizon, I wouldn’t recommend the Corning store.

Bought a new iPhone 6 and case and screen protector from Chevo. Through some miscommunication we got the 16GB which was too small for our needs. Went back the next day and Juan helped make it right by exchanging the phone for the one we wanted. (There was the normal $ 35 restock fee and the bigger phone cost about $ 100 more.) Even though he said he was new, he handled the situation like a pro. Thanks, guys!
