When I called to make my appointment I specifically asked for someone that knew how to cut a guy with curly, wavy hair well. Matthew Viers promised me that he was very experienced and said that he knew exactly how to cut this hair. He did not know how to cut my hair at all. It is completely butchered and my curls are almost all gone. I thought I could give it a day to see if I could somehow salvage his awful cut with my products but sadly, I could not. You should never shear curls. My hair looks awful and it is now going to take months to recover. I am legitimately sad about this and wish I never paid for this. He was a nice enough guy but it doesn’t matter now that my hair is ruined.

There is no one in the world I’d trust with my hair other than David Linares. He is the most professional, creative, talented and patient hair stylist I’ve come across. His skill set will give you exactly what you want! He spent 11 hours making me blonde and then we went to a nice light brunette to balance it! It looks AMAZING! For someone who is extremely protective over her hair. You have my approval he is a miracle worker there is no one else that I would ever recommend or send my friends and family too.

C.H.A.R.L.I.E… enough said. I’ve been his customer for more than 11 years. Can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. Very meticulous and takes his time to give you a great cut/​color. Every haircut is a work of art.

Christopher did my hair back in 2012 and I loved it!

I’ve spent years flying to the East Coast from California to get my hair cut and colored by my usual stylist. That was until I could not commute anymore and that is when I found Sean Christopher. He listened to my fears and my «wants». I had a coworker ask me where I got my hair done because «they could tell I had it done at a top salon». Sean truly is a master at color and cut. I would highly recommend him. I have thinning hair due to chemotherapy and my hair is now much fuller and full of life. Thank you Sean!

I’ve been coming here for years. George Bohorquez will be my hair guy until I go bald or he gets totally sick of me, whichever comes first. He does a fantastic job each and every time I go in for a cut… always patient as heck and never, ever bossy. (You know those hair Nazis.) He really listens to you and offers great suggestions. The added bonus is that he is an absolute sweetheart.

I am very particular about how the way my hair is cut. Being blessed with thick and curly hair; it’s been a struggle to find that hair specialist that can actually cut curly hair correctly. One person at Christopher and Co. II comes to mind… Robert Euzarraga.
I love when a stylist has visions and provides suggestions of different styles and textures that actually work with the type of hair. I am never asked ‘what are we doing today’…I expect my stylist to tell me what he/​she plans to do. Robert is very professional; I have NEVER been disappointed. He just simply rocks the cuts!

I purchased a groupon with Katie and made an appointment. When I arrived at the salon, I was told that they needed to talk to me outside that my children couldn’t stay while I get my hair done. I’ve always got my hair done with all my children with me for many years. They told me that it’s the salon policy that there are no children allowed but I looked at the website before I went to my appointment and it doesn’t state on there anywhere that says no children allowed during hair appointment.

With my wedding 2 weeks away, I took my life in my hands as I decided to stray from my hairdresser whom I’ve been going to for 10 years now. The decision to stray was purely based on location as I’m getting married in San Juan Capistrano so coming from North OC this seemed like a good fit.
All I can say is this was the best decision I could have made! Kandice was at the top of her game and with the pressure I put on her about how critical this is as my wedding is just 2 weeks away, she took it head on and I couldn’t be happier!
For the past 2 weeks I’ve been getting compliments from friends, family and colleagues! Even though this is 30 plus miles away for me, I will be making the commute as I know I’m in good hands with Kandice!

I have been coming here for about 20 years, was recommend by a friend and have never been anywhere else but here. My hairstyles Robert Euzarraga has to be one of the most professional people in the business. Ever since I’ve stepped foot here — I can’t see me myself ever going anywhere else and this is why: the salon is clean, and everyone is friendly. But the reason why I keep coming here is because Robert knows exactly how to cut, color and style my hair. I never leave disappointed or dissatisfied. I highly recommend Christopher and Company, and all there stylist here… But if you get a chance come see Robert.

I’m giving Katie one star for «trying to fix» my hair after making a mess of it and upon «fixing it» made it worse. Im blonde. When texting her regarding the product she would be using she said Schwarzkopf cir and i replied with «BlondeMe?» Which is their line of lightening product. I am protective of my hair and didn’t want a regular bleach job. I told her my hair color is the lightest BlondeMe color and I sent her a photo.
So I booked an appointment with the Groupon price which was the reason I tried her in the first place.
I was clear about not wanting my hair Carmel or brassy. Well, the color was totally off and as she is blow drying I realized she didn’t use BlondeMe. She knew my hair looked ugly and she said she would buy BlondeMe and redo it.
That is why she gets one star. She admitted the job was not done to any professionals standard. My weekend was long!
I returned to have her «fix» my hair.
After blow drying, more brassy and brighter contrast, actually looking worse, she recommended I use the «purple shampoo» for some of the yellow areas. Funny! I use purple shampoo once a week, not as a toner, which the purple shampoo creates a more dramatic contrast.
The issue is she knew it looked bad the second time and in my opinion should have said are you 100% satisfied? And she should have been honest and said, «oh my God, I don’t know what the f*** Im doing, here is your $ 90 back and go get it done by someone who does…» Or she could have asked any other 55 stylists in the salon to guide her.
I had extensive text conversation for days and phone conversations about using BlondeMe from the beginning. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gone to her.
This happened Monday. I haven’t gone to another salon in my neighborhood yet. Im already into this mess 2 days so I needed to cool off. My hair is brassy on top with platinum beautiful hair everywhere else. I look like a cheap mess.

Sad is that the hairdresser in question whom I found to be charming and quite skilled at his craft, turned out to be incapable of apologies. While it has been some time since the incident in question occurred, it took that long for him to contact me shaming me for receiving FREE services on behalf of the salon and then giving a bad review.
My initial review was 5 stars prior to the disrespectful gossip regarding a would be client. The fact that anyone would even attempt excusing this behavior is absurd especially in a practice such as hair where you truly depend on word of mouth. Referrals! Speaking ill publicly about a referral really projects a distasteful image.
To suggest that it is shameful for me to receive services prior to my seeing your poor business practices is a mere deflection. I sent my [then] friend to you because I knew that you were the best talent for the job. What is truly shameful is that you, as a professional, couldn’t simply recognize where you went wrong and apologize.
You are only mad, now, because of a Unilocal review. Treat others as you would want to be treated! Be the person you wish to attract! Had you treated my friend respectfully, the original 5 star review would still stand and I would still be a client sending other clients to you.
Instead, I go to Sessions Salon on Redhill and allow ayoung lady with class named Jennifer to do my hair. I’ve yet to receive any kickbacks or discounts but always receive great service and am treated with respect as are the family and friends I refer.

Mario Serrano is a state of the art hairdresser! I have never been happier with my hair. He knows exactly what color blonde I like and how to get my hair to look exactly how I’ve always liked it. I have never had my hair look this good. My cut and color makes me look ten years younger. His technique makes me feel confident and beautiful. I would never go to anyone else! Thank you, Mario. You truly have a gift.

George has been my hairstylist for the last 17 or so years and although we loose each other here and there, I always go back to him. He is awesome! He listens to what it is that you want and he gives it his spin. Most improbably, he always makes you feel at ease and comfortable. If I could rate him higher I absolutely would. I love love my hair!!!

Sean Moore is bomb dot com! I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I always get great service and fabulous ‘do every single time. As Sean would say «hair is EVERYTHING» — definitely worth every penny and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

My mother and I have had really well done short cuts by Christa Sears. She’s friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgable in her craft.
The salon is very nice. Has it’s own designated parking lot. Everyone had a great attitude. Felt super comfortable. :)

This salon is super nice. Very clean. Employees are very hospitable.
I’ve come here at least 3 times already, and the wonderful David cuts and colors my hair. I trust him wholeheartedly with my hair color it’s AMAZING. And he’s very nice too. I haven’t colored in a while, but I LOOOOVE the color still. he’s great with appointments too! Just call him up and hes very accommodating with scheduling. I’ll prob need to call him up soon for a touch though, See David! He’s awesome.
Definitely coming back here again.

Coby, Coby, Coby!!! Nothing more needs to be said, she is phenomenal!!! She is at the Christopher & Company l location. I have never had anyone get my hair so healthy looking or make my blonde highlights look so good. She is an expert at extensions, just incredible work. She is so sweet and has the best heart ever. Her prices are great and she is a perfectionist, so if you are picky she is perfect for you. You need to call their ll salon number in order to get her number, as the l salon is smaller and they do not have a receptionist. She is Amazing!

I’ve only been living in the OC for roughly 5 months, and in that time, I mistakenly went to Toni n Guy, thinking this was the best game in town. Not so much. After the girl completely messed up my hair, I’ve been on the hunt for a new stylist. As luck would have it, my brother dates a hair stylist. Score!
So I called Heidi. And having never really had an opportunity to talk to her at length, it was a great opportunity to really get to know her. She really did spend a while trying to get a feel for what I wanted exactly. She looked at what the last stylist did, and how she completely lifted out my natural color (despite my telling her not to,) and just messed it all up. Thankfully, Heidi was here to the rescue. She honestly did a beautiful job. It was exactly the color I was thinking of. And Heidi gave me a great hair cut and recommended some products to maintain it all. I’ll definitely keep going back to her. And God help my brother if they ever break up bc I’m going to stick with her. It’s harder to find a stylist than boys know! All in all, she was affordable, she colored n cut my hair fabulously, and it’s all very close to my home. Score. I think I found a winner here.
