A pair of sharp new footpegs quickly wore out the soles of my three year old boots to where one was gouged down into the midsole, and I was expecting to have to buy a new pair although the uppers were in good shape. After coming across MX Boot Resole & Repair, I figured it was worth a try and sent them off. They quickly responded with an appraisal of the damage, and I had them back just a few days after that. Repairing the gouge was $ 10 extra but the results were great, and you can hardly see where the damage was. So far they are holding up like a new pair at less than half the cost!
