Don’t mix this place up with Harvey’s Autotech… This is the original Harvey’s of Corona, and Harvey and his son are top notch honest people. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and they have never steered me wrong. He used to be a dealer mechanic and opened his own shop in 1991 because he couldn’t stomach the way his supervisors would try to get him to call out things that didn’t need repairs just to be able to charge more. If you need any kind of service I highly recommend Harvey’s Transmission and Auto.
Update: I just had my starter replaced at Harvey’s on Christmas Eve his labor charge was $ 85 and the part was $ 160. Out of curiosity I decided to call Autotech, their charge for the part is $ 240 and labor is $ 160. Please do yourself a favor and go the the right Harvey’s if you need good honest and fair priced mechanics to work on your cars.

Harvey is an honest mechanic. After taking my Hyundai to AAMCO for an estimate, I took it to Harvey for a 2nd opinion. The first shop said I needed the transmission rebuilt for $ 1900. Harvey found nothing wrong with the transmission but thought it might be worn out motor mounts. Once on the lift, Harvey tightened a loose motor mount at no charge and that seems to have solved the clunking problem. He flushed the transmission fluid for a fair price and I’m back on the road. Thanks Harvey!

He’s honest and straight with you. I have taken my pathfinder to him and my friends have also take older foriegn cars to him. I have had brakes and routine PM like trans fluid done that’s gets pricey at other places. He will order genuine parts but make sure you tell him in advance what you are bringing to you. His son has an electical place on Grand about a miles away. Harvey’s is tucked behind a Mexican outdoor restaurant and you can wait there if you have set it up with Harvey in advance. Its in an industrial area just east of the 15.
