You can rent golf carts by 2 hours (walk-​in only), half day (4 hours) or all day! Golf carts are the perfect island transportation for families, couples, or anyone looking for a little sunshine and adventure.

Golf Carts are driven on streets, just like cars and go around 25mph. We have carts that hold up to 8 passengers. Make your reservation today. Walk-​ins are always welcome :)

*We stop renting at 6pm but latest to return is 8pm unless on a multiple day rental!*

History

Established in 2013.

Coronado Golf Cars was founded owner/​operator of Sundance Golf Cars, Mike Matheny. Being a local of Coronado, Mike saw a void in how you can better experience the great Island of Coronado and quickly set about filling it by offering golf carts for rent.

I love the golf cart I purchased last year. Some servicing needed to be done in 2016. I am impressed with the customer service. My golf cart was taken care of at my site quickly, professionally, and with a reasonable cost. Mike REALLY makes the effort to get things done quickly and smoothly. If you want a great product with exceptional customer service, then this is the place to go.

We rented the 8 passenger rig for our family of 7 and had an absolute blast touring around Coronado! My kids wanted to stop every 5 minutes to switch seats, they all wanted to face backwards! The owners brought the cart right to our door at the Del, and when we were done they came and picked it up as well. Super easy, no hassle, an overall great experience will definitely do this again next year!

We rented a gold kart today and it was sooo much fun! We kinda went a little too far though and got pulled over by the police. They were very nice and called the owners to come get the golf kart. Oops. The owner was very nice and we all got a laugh out of it. Note to potential renters… Don’t drive on the bike path down Silver Strand!

We heard about this place from a friend who had visited Coronado a week prior. We are SO glad we listened!!! This was our first trip to Coronado and we will never forget it thanks to Coronado Golf Cart Rentals! We rented a four-​seater for two hours and got to explore a huge chunk of the island in that time. The prices were reasonable, and the entire process was smooth. We would definitely recommend renting a golf cart from this company to anyone!

I rented a golf car yesterday and over all, the experience was excellent. The owner, Mike took my call and from the beginning, to when i returned it, the transaction was a breeze. The Golf Car i rented was a 4-​seater. I loved it! It looked brand new & the brakes worked great. His operating instructions were great. Top speed I got to was like 27 mph, but hey. you don’t wanna go any faster than that around here anyways. :) Pricing was affordable. I rented mine by the hour, but to get the real experience, i’d recommend renting one all day. I think for the money. its a better value anyway. So, I guess Coronado Golf Cars is new in town… and I wanted to make sure they got a shout out on Unilocal… Cuz Mikes a really nice guy. Do Business Here!.. you won’t be sorry.
