I just love this shop! Eclipse Eyewear is fantastic. Not only is it located in the most beautiful and relaxing location, but they make your entire shopping experience top-​notch. This is a family-​owned business, and I really love supporting shops like these. You’re not just another customer to them; they really care, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Dave, the owner, is the kindest man you’ll meet, and everyone who works in the shop makes you feel welcome and right at home. I recently had Lasik and needed to find sunglasses to protect my new vision. I couldn’t be more thankful for their help and patience as I tried to decide what would work best. Not only do I love my new sunglasses, but even better — my eyes have never felt better out in the sun. Best pair I’ve ever owned… Thanks Eclipse!

Eclipse stands by their product! I purchased a pair of gorgeous Coach sunglasses in Sept. I realized they were defective after returning home to San Francisco, but it was several months later. I called the store and spoke with a very nice gal, and then to the manager Marion. Marion assured me she would make this right and exchange for a new pair. It is SO NICE when a store stands behind its products. We visit the Hotel Del every year in September and I will only buy sunglasses here from now on! Thanks Marion! This store has integrety!

This is the place to go if you are into buying really nice Sunglasses. I think of sunglasses the way some people think of «bags» or purses. And really, you wear them all the time, so they make a statement, like your watch. Eclipse had a Groupon for $ 100 off sunglasses, so I bought one. I’d been waiting to replace my favorite Chanel sunglasses that I lost. They were expensive, but they were a gift and I had them for years. It was a gorgeous day to visit the Del and shop the stores. I felt like I was on vacation in my own city. Eclipse had a fabulous selection — Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Tiffany, and all the regulars — Ray Ban, etc. What was really the best though was the woman who helped me. I feel HORRIBLE that I forgot her name but I think it was Susan. She allowed me to collect as many as I want, set them aside, play with them, try them on. She would only give me feedback if I asked, except to point out important features, price. I did not feel rushed or pressured. Ultimately I didn’t purchase Chanels, I purchased Tiffany sunglasses that would have been $ 325, but with my discount came to $ 250.19. They are great, I love them, very special and I hope to have them for a long time. They have non glare glass for a very clear view. And Susan (gosh I hope that’s her name!) could not have been more patient, kind, helpful. So recently they ran the same eal on another site — I’m going back!
