I have refinanced a few times before with other brokers and often found them to be unprofessional, unprepared, unavailable when you need them and generally pretty untrustworthy (hence my search for someone new for our most recent refi). Eric was the complete opposite — straight shooter from the beginning, knowledgeable, always available, pleasant and professional. Was very happy with our quick and pain-​free refi and no hidden surprises. Couldn’t be happier with Eric.

I spent a lot of time and money trying to get a mortgage from my Bank, where I have banked for over 20 years and they couldn’t help me!
I thought all hope was lost until an associate of mine introduced me to Mr. Leithliter. He was very helpful in obtaining a mortgage. Always responsive to emails, he was thorough and exact.
His knowledge of credit and lending practices is unparalleled in my experience. I know his business is a numbers game but I always felt that he cared about my loan and wanted to see me succeed in refinancing my house.
My loan closed about 2 weeks ago and I could not be happier, I was even able to lock in a rate under 4% which was an unexpected surprise!

Eric is a responsive, honest, thorough and extremely competent mortgage broker. My wife and I own several rental properties which significantly complicated the mortgage application process for the purchase of our home (primary residence). Eric was always on top of any concerns that a lender may have and headed off any problems with our application before they happened. Rather than simply tell you what you want to hear, Eric will explain the risks and issues that a lender many have with your loan application and help you gather the necessary documentation to alleviate the lender concerns. Eric was also very good about discussing our situation with prospective lenders before he provided us with a pre-​approval letter. When Eric gives you a pre-​approval letter, you can be confident that a lender will fund your loan at promised interest rate. Whether you have a simple or complicated financial situation, Eric will cover all bases, find you great interest rate and close your loan time.

I recently completed a re-​fi with Eric and I highly recommend him. He was exceptionally responsive and timely. There were a few complicated issues having to do with my re-​fi (e.g., changing the names on title and loan) that he was very knowledgeable about. I had initiated the process with another broker and switched to Eric. I am very glad I did. Eric provided excellent spreadsheets on the ramifications of various loan options, found an excellent interest rate, and kept me informed through every step of the process. My wife and I worked with Eric to purchase our first home and we were really happy with his services. Considering it was a first time working through this process my wife and I constantly hit Eric with questions and concerns over several months before jumping into the process in earnest. During those initial conversation I never got the sense that Eric couldn’t be bothered or that he had bigger opportunities to chase. We worked together to formulate a plan for a down payment and then he worked with us to make sure our paperwork was aligned for pre-​approval. Eric helped me refinance my house this spring — I can’t say enough about how helpful he was through the sometimes difficult experience. He seems to have a good selection of prospective lenders to fit various situations and found just the one to optimize my situation.
In this difficult credit market lenders can be really picky. Eric seemed to be able to anticipate how to best present my application so that by the time it was in the hands of the lender there were no questions.
