Much More Than a Chiropractor
Marilyn Britton is not a typical chiropractor. Her knowledge of underlying muscle structure and her ability to address bound up areas in the body is amazing. She has eliminated an often painful misalignment in my shoulder that has been with me for more than 10 years. Her Active Release Techniques and exercise suggestions were exactly what I needed!
Marilyn is not only a gifted at chiropractor, she is also a very warm and kind person. She is constantly attending workshops and seminars so that she can stay up-​to-​date on the latest and most effective techniques. I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone with chronic muscle tightness or pain.

I went to Dr. Britton with pain in my right knee that I had been dealing with for a couple of months. In one session, she was able to fix my knee and the next day I was able to run several miles without any pain whatsoever… I was amazed!

Dr. Britton is a lifesaver. I was having very severe lower back pain (in large part due to wearing a boot on my right foot for 8 weeks after an injury.) The day after the first appointment with Dr. Britton, my back was 95% better and following the second appointment, I was pain free. I have never gone to a chiropractor before, but I am now a believer. Thank you!!!

Dr. Britton was a savior for my neck. The combination of adjustments and Active Release Technique really loosened up my pinched nerve and pulled neck muscle allowing me relief to actually get some sleep at night. Her office is very clean and centrally located in Corte Madera right off the freeway. A very referrable chiropractor and I’ve seen quite a few.

Dr. Britton is an excellent choice for injury or sports pain relief. After a recent fall I have been seeing her regularly for neck and head pain and she has really made a big difference. After just the first visit the range of motion in my neck was much improved. Weeks later now each subsequent visit has her taking my healing to a deeper level now that some of my swelling and pain have lessened. I have been telling all my friends who will listen how fabulous she is. Many thanks to Marilyn.

I have had chronic back pain for twelve years. With a few visits Marilyn was able to help diminish the pain, not only through treatment, but through real investigation into ways I might be going through life that aren’t helpful to my body. She thoroughly discusses the anatomy and how everything relates in a way that is palatable and easy to understand. She shows real concern for the healing of her patient and vehemently claims that if you need to return to her continually for the same problem then she clearly is not doing her job. I’ usually dread going to a new chiropractor because I feel pressured to sign up for life. Marilyn was only concerned about getting me better and in fact, she helped me quickly heal from chronic hip pain and the aftermath of a car accident. It took only one session for me to get relief in my hip and very few visits to restore full range of motion in my neck. The ART method she uses really works. I recently referred my fiancé to her who has also experienced positive results.

I have always avoided chiropractic methods of rehabilitation. I never understood how cracking bones could help to heel my soft tissue damage. I’ve been to many chiropractors but Marilyn does something a little different — it’s called Active Release Technique. Definitely not just the usual 10 minute pop and crack … I had chronic low back pain and a pulled hamstring … and she took her time analyzing, then treating the muscles and tendons and worked on it (I can’t say it was totally painless) but I felt so much better later. I was able to get back to the gym. And I was better after about 4 visits.
