Bark Bath Self Serve Dog Wash & Grooming

Took my American Eskimos here for self grooming and it was just what they needed. We came here right after the dog park and I’m assuming the owners were there with heir own dog who unlike the other reviews wasn’t barking at my own. We were allowed to wash our dogs at the same time and were able to choose from the list of shampoos they had. I think the one of the pros about this place is that there is absolutely no time limit. Having American Eskimos they have a lot of fur and the dry time is pretty long, not having the time limit let us both relax and not feel pressured into getting them dry ASAP. The self grooming also included a face wash, tooth brushing, and nail trim. Most other self service groom places don’t have those included in the package. Overall price for self grooming both dogs came out of $ 48 which is still less then what you’d spend dropping off your dog to a groomer. I know I’ll be a repeat customer because my dogs loved it, I loved it and the service we got from the owners was amazeballs.

I take my dog here to get groomed as well as give her a bath myself. It is very clean and the owners are really nice. My dog always comes home smelling good.

Just stopped here for the first time. Brought in two exhausted, wet, and sandy pups straight from doggie beach. They were so helpful, polite, and walked me through everything. Amazing customer service indeed.
Place is clean and fairly priced. They have everything you need! And plenty to chose from. I am so happy we tried this place out; I’m never washing them at home again!

Bark Bath Self Serve Dog Wash & Grooming is a rather long name; I prefer to simply call them ‘godsend’!
After a long session of throwing the ball on the beach, my furry partner-​in-​crime was wet, covered in sand, and most definitely smelled like a dog. This is where our godsend came into the picture! After a quick search on the Unilocal app, we dropped by the self-​serve Bark Bath before heading back to our hotel.
The staffers were super helpful and sweet, making sure to verify that Sasha is up-​to-​date on his rabies vaccination before we could proceed. After a quick call to our vet, it was time to get down to the dirty business! I was asked to choose shampoo and conditioner from a menu (oatmeal, please!) and off we were. The water stayed sufficiently warm for the duration of the bath and the solid water pressure ensured we got absolutely squeaky clean. Sasha loved his bath, and was rewarded with a treat after finishing!
Well worth it for $ 14. Clean dog = clean hotel room.

The lady at the front desk was absolutely rude. I walked in at 5:29 pm to be told that my dog must be in the tub by 5:30pm. Well if that’s the case change your store hours from 10 am to 6pm to 10 am to 5:30pm to avoid confusion. The lady just seemed she didn’t want to help me at all. I was just so blown away by how inconsiderate she was. Worst customer service ever!!! I’d rather let my dogs roll around in their own filth than come back here!!!

The groomers includes all the services your dog needs for such a great price. They were so kind to my dog and My boyfriend and I, and groomed her with such care and detailed work. they really care about their customers.

My wife and I just left the Bark Bath and I left very happy.
We got there before the store hours but we’re allowed to come in and get started. The gentleman helped get us set up and explained the vaccination and rabies policy, so glad we had our papers with us!
The equipment is very nice and they were well prepared for our visit. We will be back next time we need a bath!

What a great experience! Spotless shop with everything you need to do the wash job on your pups. Dawn and Bob are so friendly and helpful. Lisa cleans sacs and clips nails if you need it done. Most importantly, my back feels wonderful and my bathroom remains clean and doesn’t smell like wet dog fur. Thanks Dawn and Bob, we’ll be back every month!

Best pet self wash service I’ve been to hands down! The owners are super sweet and attentive to my needs. I brought in my husky/​chow chow for a bath and was amazed by how big and brightly lit the store was. Located in a plaza, it was pretty easy to find as well.
For a little more than ten bucks, I got to bathe my big furry baby in warm water, select a specific shampoo according to his needs (they have about 5 to choose from), lather him in conditioner and they also provided ear and eye wipes for your convenience. Not to mention, they have tear free face wash for doggies, which is a big plus in my book since many self wash salons do not have this. While blow-​drying my dog, the store owner came over to check up on us and even gave me a few pointers on the most efficient/​effective way to make sure that The double coat of fur on my dog was dry. Couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience with a self-​wash.
This is now my go-​to place whenever I’m back from a day at the doggy beach or just to freshen up my baby!

I have been to this dog wash numerous times with at least three of my five dogs one of which is my foster dog. Today I went by to check the hours and was told that I need to bring in rabies and Bordetella vaccination proof from my vet which is the first time she ever needed this paperwork. I’ve been to a few different dog washes in different areas and I’ve never needed proof of vaccination. But seeing that this may be out of her hands and maybe a city issue I made the trip home to go pick up the paperwork and return with my dog. I have to say that the owner has always been very pleasant friendly and outgoing every time I’ve ever been in, today she had a very different attitude. She reviewed the paperwork as if she was a cop reviewing a list of laws I’ve broken. I have five different dogs like I said one of which is a foster, i’ve brought him in once before to bathe him at her business, we had an entire conversation about him being my foster but today she acted like she didn’t recognize me at all and was checking the information I was writing down on the paper that she asked me to fill out and comparing it to the paperwork I gave her from the vet, as if I’m some big liar. Then she starts questioning the difference of the names before even wrote his name down on the paperwork, I explained to her that because he’s a foster the rescue group pulls him, it’s under their name and it’s coming from a pound so the names are going to be different than when you pick the dog up and his name will be different as well. She neurotically went back-​and-​forth about reasons and such and was hesitantly allowing me to give her business. I can’t relay verbatim how the conversation went but it was uncomfortable and rude and she made me feel extremely unwelcome in a place where I’ve been before. I said it’s fine I’ll just go somewhere else she immediately hands me back my paperwork and says OK, I tell her it’s obvious you don’t believe that this is his paperwork and she shrugged her shoulders and had nothing to say except a snide uncomfortable smirk. Needless to say although I use 3 of the other businesses in this strip mall on a regular basis and going to another dog wash will be a pain in the ass because this one so close to everything else that I use I WILL NOT BE GIVING THEM ANY BUSINESS AGAIN. I will find another self-​service dog wash with a better attitude, my 4 dogs plus whichever foster I have at the time will be spending our money ELSEWHERE. What a disappointment she’s always been so nice she totally sucked today. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS MOST IMPORTANT TO NEW BUSINESSES DONT TREAT YOUR CUSTMOMERS LIKE SHIT. uncool
I will now address the condescending response to my review. Like I stated in the beginning of my review, I understand what your «policy» is about. If it was in fact a «policy» like you stated that you truly followed, with the concern to keep all clients safe, then I would think you would take it seriously enough to ask for it the first time a new client comes in, not an entire year later after numerous visits. If my dogs had rabies or whatever else disease your so concerned about all of your clients dogs would have already been exposed to it as you never mentioned this before as I used your service numerous times with different dogs. I have no problem with showing vaccination records, that is not the issue. If it had been I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to go all the way home to dig through my vet paperwork to retrieve it and return to your place of business. The issue here is your shitty attitude. I went to check hours, was surprised to be told I needed shot records, I thought it odd I was just now being told this and in such an abrupt, unfriendly manner but I went and got them anyway, then upon my return you have an anxious, shit attitude with me. Your poor customer service is the problem. Your patronizing response to criticism of your lack of tact even bigger problem. Maybe you were having an off day the day I was in and that’s understandable but the unapologetic, fault projection, stating the obvious about vaccinations in the guise of concern for your clients… inexcusable. A sorry goes a long way. More flies with honey than vinegar. Shame.
Again…the issue is not the need to show the vaccination records. I agree with and adhere to this policy. The problem was the manner in which the entire thing was presented from beginning to end. The attitude was rude and unwelcoming, period. Every one of my dogs is vaccinated, I take no issue showing proof of that, I do however take issue with a business owner treating me disrespectfully as I’m paying you money to use your service and then trying to cover their ass with a condescending response to my review. In my opinion that would have been a prime opportunity to right your wrong. I’m not asking for my ass to be kissed, I’m also not asking you to rub salt in the wound. You lost a customer over it. That’s all I care to say on this over talked subject.

This is a great place to easily wash and pamper your dog. Several options that are very affordable and reasonable. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I enjoy coming here. Try it once and you will realize just how convenient it is to wash your dog here.

Took my dog there for the first time and I was very satisfied with how it works. The woman working there was extremely helpful and friendly. Can’t beat the price and they have everything you need for $ 14 or $ 12 if you bring your own shampoo.

It was such a pleasant experience bringing my dog here. The staff was helpful and nice and helped me with any questions I had. They came around and checked up on us and made sure everything was good. Asher got the shampoo had helped with dry and flaky skin and he looked great after. He also got lots of hugs after he finished. Overall a really great time and look forward to going back soon.

I’ve been to a lot of DIY dog wash places but this has to rank as the best. The staff is helpful, the tubs are clean and you get niceties like a shampoo menu to choose from. (I picked one for smelly dogs and it left my pup smelling really good.) This makes bathing my pooch so much easier. I’m the owner of a 65 lb. AmStaff. Bathing her at home is messy and takes a long time. Whereas here I’m in and out in 20 minutes flat. The best.

So easy to wash the dog at the Bark Wash. Somewhat of a misnomer as actually there was no barking and pretty quiet. Amongst the 3 dogs being washed not a peep, snarl or bark.
Over all it was a pleasant and effective experience with the results being a clean and happy dog and owner!

I will say it again… love this place. My mom & I come every weekend and love it. The owners are very nice and helpful. The shop is very clean and well equipped. We have been to few and not returned since we found bark bath.

When we go to the beach and the princess Emma needs a quick rinse this is where we go! They are so clean and so nice! They have everything you need and there big dog is so nice it’s the only big dog my baby Emma seems to like!

This place is sooooo great! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Price is right, bring your own shampoo it’s only $ 12. They give you everything you’ll need. Brushes, wipes for ears, eyes, and toothbrush!
I’ll be revisiting for my pup. My Shepkita doesn’t like it but I love washing her.
