Martin Parker has studied American and International Ballroom and Social Night Club Dances. Martin has competed In the World of West Coast Swing and Standard Ballroom and has opened DanScene Dance Studio to share his expertise and passion for dancing.

There were creeps everywhere. It made it really uncomfortable, especially when the instructor wanted to pass the girls around to everyone, you can tell some guys are there just to pick up on chicks. She was helpful at times but she encouraged slapping men in the face until they got the moves right. Seriously? WTF! How about you actually teach instead of being sexist.
Do Not recommend. Will not return.

Hi, Im Carolina and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you’ll see what I mean. You don’t even have to know how to dance, Just move your body and follow my lead. It’s easy and fun!
I want to invite everybody to take the Zumba Class at DanScene dance Studio every Monday, Tuesday & Friday at 6:30pm. New Sound System, great floors, mirrors and fun atmosphere. Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast and the best workout ever! I look forward to meeting you!

Danscene Dance Studio is a great place for dancing and entertainment. Martin Parker has run it for over 20 years and many of the best dancers in the country (such as Benji Schwimmer) go there to teach, perform and just dance and have fun social dancing at Danscene. I’ve seen many great performances there and they always have fun dances — always have a great time when I’m there. Very professional and enjoyable place. Great place to go if you want to have a good/​fun time.

This studio is owned and run by Martin Parker, a West Coast Swing Champion for many many years, so you know that the dance lessons are going to be fabulous. I have attended several of his evening dance parties and enjoyed them tremendously! He has been running a studio in this location for 23 years and is still going strong!
The studio has weekly lessons for many different kinds of dances — ballroom, Latin, and swing. Check out the schedule of classes on their website!
A (male) friend of mine once remarked «I don’t know why more men don’t dance. You get to put your hands all over a woman for 3 ½ minutes and at the end she thanks you and asks for more.» Take that with a grain of salt, There ARE certain no-​fly zones. But if you don’t already know how to dance you owe it to yourself to learn how to do at least one of them. It is a great way to spend time with the one you love or make new friends in a social atmosphere that emphasizes good clean fun!

We went to Dascene Dance Studio tonight for the Friday Party.
We had 2 free lessons. Three people got prizes.
The food, the appetizers and the Margaritas were fabulous. Best of all
we loved Martin both classes. We will go back there for sure. We loved the ambiance.

If you’re looking to properly learn ballroom dancing and have a fun time doing it — Patty Straight is the dance instructor to go to. Each month Patty offers a beginning intermediate followed by an intermediate 50 minute group class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The classes vary each month. She also offers private lessons that will quickly get your confidence up for the group classes. Wednesday classes are followed by a dance. If you want to ballroom — Patty is your instructor.

I told myself I would allow 1 year of private dance lessons then I’d move on…
Its been over 2 years now and I can’t stop! Patty Straight is truly a great dance instructor and so much fun to dance with every Monday night! I highly recommend her because she knows her stuff (ballroom tango, rumba, foxtrot, cha cha, country two-​step, hustle, salsa, mambo, samba, eastcoast & westcoast swing, quickstep, waltz, Viennese and nightclub two-​step)… Phew! Take a lesson and see… she also has group lessons that are fun and she always reviews before she goes on to the next step. She is one patient lady!
