Our small Design House is the place to look a options & discuss your needs and ideas. Pictures of your home’s interior or pictures of a general piece always helps out in the process.

There is NEVER an obligation here, for coming in talking or a consultation.

We’re custom so Think ‘Restoration hardware quality’ and often better. Your size and colors & less in cost than that of a museum type mall store. However We don’t sell cheap tables because we do not use marginal supplies, our labor is extensive/​challenging & our supplies are A+ enabling us to find new ways to deliver the finest products!

If you’re out of the area, 60% of our business comes from areas 50 miles + & we accept deposits & orders by phone (Visa MC Amex & Discover)

How you can get Prices or Ranges:

3. If you wish to move forward we take a deposit usually 50% and keep you in the loop on the progress of your new piece to be & we’re quicker than you’d think.

From all of us at Killer Kitchen: Our Gallery started as a shop focused on islands and butcher blocks staffed with architectural experience, artists and a variety of carpentry experience. Since then and in an effort to help our clients with their needs, the design house of Killer Kitchen now offers a variety of custom work: from reclaimed wood to contemporary styling to metal welding to art commissioning and niche matching pieces to make your home as unique as you wish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Amazing craftsmanship! As we went thru the remodeling of our home, we spent so much time searching and brainstorming on what kitchen island we want. Instead of a built-​in island, we decided to go for an island-​table furniture; something that is one of a kind, functional and with a modern rustic look. Thank goodness we found Killer Kitchen & Table! Joe (along with his crew) define (s) what an excellent customer service truly means! Joe put so much thought into every little details of our kitchen island table. Joe won’t settle for an «acceptable» product, his goal is to create a «I super love my table Joe!» And so yes, we SUPER LOVE our kitchen island table! And now Joe is going to build our living room end table!

This guy earns every single star and then some. My husband and I live in LA and had been to a bazillion different furniture shops looking for a stationary island (cut to obnoxious lady who said unless we were willing to spend $ 5000, we weren’t worth her time) when we finally decide to Unilocal «kitchen island.» What pops up but this magical place. And then we think, Irvine??? Why would Unilocal place it as #1 when its so far away? Now I know, because this place is absolutely worth the drive. First of all, the owner, joe, is just awesome. He’s super funny, friendly, and passionate about his work. To use one of joe’s words, his show room is pretty bitchin!!! And even better, joe worked with us to create our own unique piece. Once we chose our design, Joe kept us in the loop through many many many email updates with pictures and everything. I am now looking around my home going, what else can I ask Joe to make?

Our experience with Killer and Joe was five stars in every aspect. We drove to his shop because we weren’t sure exactly how we wanted our dining room table to look. All we knew for sure was we wanted a unique table. Joe’s enthusiasm for producing a quality product and pleasing the customer was apparent the minute we met him. He spent two hours with us explaining the tables and listening to our needs, then he built a table that is a piece of art and is functional in all the ways we wanted. The experience was fun and we love the table.

Joe. Is. Awesome!!! He has made two tables for us. Our first one was a beautiful bistro table. Always a compliment whenever we have guest.
The second piece he made was «a princess desk.» He customized it just for me. Put special touches to it to make it unique. I love it! Some great ideas have been had on my beautiful desk.
If you want a great looking piece in your home, go to Killer Kitchen and Islands and see Joe! Forget Restoration Hardware and the snooty pants who work there. You will get nothing but awesomeness from Joe!

I found Joe on Craigslist and loved the pictures of his work. I wanted a kitchen island but I wanted something really special. So I took a chance and went for it. I was a little nervous since I never even went to the shop to see his work in person. Joe walked me through the whole process because I really don’t know anything about wood. He really wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. When my table arrived I was amazed it was exactly what I envisioned but even better! He’s a artist just like I suspected! Now I have the beautiful island I wanted and look forward to many years of enjoying its beauty sitting around my island with my kids and friends. Thanks Joe and your team!

It is so amazing that I was able to get my own island customized.
I had no idea that it was even possible but a friend of mine told me about this company so I decided to check them out.
I had a consultation with Joe and he was really able to grasp the idea of what it was exactly that I wanted. He helped me figure it all out.
The table came and I was really amazed at how it looked. It was just beautiful and complimented my home very well.

We recently purchased a house and started looking for furniture at Crate and Barrel, Room and Board, Living Spaces etc. and came across Killer Kitchen while doing some research online.
After initially ordering a desk we’ve since had several more pieces made by KK.
Joe is great to work with and the service he provided is excellent.
He kept me updated on the progress and actually completed work earlier than the promised date every time. His prices are very reasonable as well.

Continuous shopping for a kitchen table, everything looked so bland and so the same and so boring. I knew what I wanted but I just couldn’t find it… until I found Killer Kitchen Island & Table on craigslist.
I met with owner, Joe, at his shop and we came up with the final design working off of samples he had in his shop.
Joe knows what he’s doing he has the knowledge to back up the confidence in his work. I had ideas and he politely explained what would be better and why and why my suggestions wouldn’t necessarily work. And he was right. He’s very thorough and listens well to the customers wants.
Every single person that walks into my place compliments my table and asks where I got it. It isn’t just a table, it’s a piece of art that truely reflects my style and Joe’s artistry through his wood work.
If you’re looking for the unordinary and solid quality at a reasonable price, order your table. You won’t regret it.

Score for Unilocal on helping us find this place! We were looking at Ikea, Crate and Barrel, Target, mom and pop furniture stores and etc, but we couldn’t find a table that we liked. Then… we met Joe and Killer Kitchen Island and table!
First, Joe is amazing! The bf and I came in not knowing what the heck we were doing except we wanted an amazing counter table, and that is what Joe gave us! Asked us questions about what we were using it for and what type of floors we have so he could help us find the best design. Table was made quickly and nicely, nothing sloppy about it at all. Joe kept us updated with emails on what he was doing and when he thinks it would be done. We barely got the table today and I am using it right now to write this review as the BF plays Diablo. –_​_​–
Honestly, there is no reason to shop at the higher end stores and pay close to a thousand for a table when you can come here. It’s unique and you get to pick what you really want on a table without any compromise at all.

These kitchen islands really are killer. I couldn’t be happier with my new island. I recently purchased a new home and needed an island for the middle. Joe has an awesome selection and you can customize them. He was so eager to give us what we wanted and helped customize something amazing for a great price. He made it work exactly for our kitchen. When my husband went to pick it up it didn’t fit in the backseat. Joe brought it home for us so we wouldn’t have to wait. Everyone who comes over compliments us on how amazing it looks. I found out about this company when I was shopping online for furniture. It is in a small, unassuming business park off of Redhill and Kalmus. The owner Joe is a true craftsmen who specializes in multifunctional kitchen islands and tables. His pieces are very well made, unique, and he uses quality materials. There are also many floor models to help you visualize what you want. After the floor model we were thinking about buying was sold before we could purchase it, my boyfriend and I opted for a custom made kitchen island. Joe was friendly, patient, and thorough as he walked us through all of the style/​design options and also offered ideas of styles my boyfriend and I didn’t think of. We decided on an island with 2 shelves and a wine rack. Joe also walked us through the designing of the color scheme for the table top. We picked up the table last night and WOW! Joe completely blew away our expectations. The table was also ready a day early! The prices are very reasonable too. While i cant describe them as cheap, when it comes to furniture you get what you pay for.
