Tika is simply amazing, and does awesome work. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded regularly and results are always consistent and beautiful.

I went in for a brow thread and was very happy with the end result (shape was great). However, I felt like each of the hairs was threaded individually, which was so uncomfortable. A good threader threads with quick, easy sweeps. As a result, I was left with little red welts (if that makes sense) where the hairs were removed. I do not have sensitive skin, in fact, it’s quite resilient when it comes to harsh treatment. It stung to the touch and was frustrating to deal with for a couple of days. I’ll be back because it’s a good location and I’m a sucker for not having to drive far, but I won’t be going to her.

My new go to threading salon!
I literally just got home from getting my brows done by Tika (sp?). I wanted to write a review because it’s a new business and I would love to see them flourish… though, the lack of wait time is great for us customers.
ANYWAY: this is the first time my brows have looked EVEN in I don’t even know how long, it’s ridiculous. Can’t wait to show them off. I’m very, very impressed with the way Tika somehow managed to find my long lost arches thanks, betch.

This was my first time here since they opened. They are seriously right down the street from me so I wanted to give them a try. So glad I did, I got my brows done by Tika last night and they look fabulous! Can’t wait to go back and keep them up! Thanks Tika!

I happened to notice this place when stopping by for boba at Tastea next door. I looked inside and it was very clean and I figured I would try it out since I was already there. I usually go to Divas threading on Bristol in Santa Ana but after this experience, Roop is my new go-​to place!!! Tika did my eye brows and it was nearly painless. I usually tear up and cry but she was so gentle I barely winced. She did a wonderful job and checked in with me to make sure I liked the shape. I will definitely come back. I saw a sign that said 5 eye brow threadings for $ 30. Regular price is $ 8 for eye brows. They also have a stamp card, 9 eye brow threadings and you get he 10^th free! Awesome.

Today was my first time. I actually noticed this shop within the several times I’ve been in the plaza to get Tasteas a few doors down but never went in until today. I really needed my eyebrows done and did a quick check on Unilocal.I was happy to see so many great reviews. So I took the chance and went in.
I was there around 11am (Wed.). No wait time. The shop is simple, clean, and quite spacious. Tika took me, asked me a few simple questions about my exp. with threading and if I had any preferences for how I wanted it done or shaped. All I knew was that I wanted it more natural, and she got to work right away. Took no longer than 5 – 7 minutes for me, and I felt no discomforts. She gave me a hand mirror to check right after and make sure I was satisfied. Then she gestured to an array of bottles on her station to see if I wanted anything applied afterwards (Aloe Vera gel, lotion, etc.), which I politely declined. Never been happier to see such clean, beautifully threaded brows. (Thank you, Tika!)

So I’m always willing to give different threading a salon a chance, and with this chance, I am glad I visited. The lady who threaded my eyebrows was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a lot closer than Nanu, whom I usually go to. The pricing is fair and is $ 1 cheaper than Nanu and $ 3 cheaper than Ziba’s (I think it was $ 11 the last time I visited Ziba’s.) However, the upper lip threading is $ 5 compared to Nanu’s $ 4, which is fine and offsets the eyebrows. If you’re getting both eyebrow and upper, than the price comes out to be about the same. If you only get eyebrows, than Roop is the obv choice to why you would want to visit.
Roope’s salon is freshly new and definitely clean. Must visit if you don’t have a favorite threading salon!

I’m so happy right now! I used to go to another local threading place and I always went to Tika but she left there over a year ago and I never knew where she went. Today I randomly tried Roop based off some Unilocal reviews and there she was! My brow prayers have been answered! So happy to find Tika again! PS, they have a threading package where you can buy 5 for $ 30 making them only $ 6 each which of course I had to buy :)

Love this place and Tika is the sweetest. I’ve been going to her for over a year now and I like the fact that I can walk in and get a quick wax. I’m terrible at making appointments so I like the fact I can walk in and get it down right away. It’s never easy getting waxing done but she goes easy on you and really knows what she’s doing. I’ve tried others in that past that just rip away and I leave throbbing for hours. The set-​up of the salon is clean and spacious. I used to go to Nanu down the street but I’m, so glad I can go here now. Great price on waxing and quick process if you’re a person on the go. Its located in the Stater Bros plaza at the inside corner.

I’ve been to one other threading place over in lake forest and had a great experience so I was hoping to find a good place in Costa Mesa since i moved here and I think I’ve found my new spot! Didn’t have to wait at all and the prices are great! They kept my brows think like I wanted and they cleaned them up really nice as well as gave me a little eyebrow and lip massage with aloe Vera gel. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a threading place in Costa Mesa.

Very inexpensive and Tika was very sweet and did a great job on my eyebrows. I’m always skeptical to try new places but it was well worth it.

Found this place and I LOVE it! Very nice customer service, I am never going anywhere else to get threaded! Tika did mine and they look absolutely perfect! And I am usually very picky about my eyebrows. You have to try this place if you get any threading done! Won’t be disappointed

Love love love this location I went here for my first time today and it was one of the best threading I’ve ever had I’m such a wuss when it comes to threading but the women that did me made it almost painless!(: the staff is super nice and the salon is VERY clean. I’d recommend to anyone ! I never leave reviews but this was an awesome experience

Great staff that make you feel welcome. Awesome comfy chairs too. They can work magic here! They turned my overgrown shapeless eyebrows into beautiful eyebrows. Thank you! Come here and you won’t be disappointed. Note: the store is located by the family health store. A sign is not visible from the parking lot. However, it’s located in the corner of the strip mall by subway.
