History
Established in 1992.
Friar Tucks pub opened our doors over twenty years ago in cotati & it was strictly a beer and wine pub, because the city of cotati would not issue another bar for that year. we were located in the Oliver’s shopping center on e. cotati ave. after being open we had to compete with all the bars in downtown Cotati. So we wanted to Have a night for the college students to enjoy seeing as how all the other bars really did not want the younger crowds clientele. we decided to throw the first College Thirsty Thursday with $ 1 Pints of Beer. It was a huge hit! SSU kids loved it, felt welcome to party here. half way through the night Cheryl Nixon Owner of friars would grab a handful of college kids and say lets go cause havoc downtown and CRAWL back to friars’. This giving birth to the Original COTATI-CRAWL.We were There for 15 years but the landlords canceled our lease. Counting our Irish blessings we relocated Downtown by the grace of god, and have been blessed with the best COTATI has to offer!
