Dr. Stephy is so informative. I learned so much about my eyesight and it’s connection to my brain. It allowed me to make solid decisions about my eye health and care. I highly recommend Dr. Stephy if you want a complete and thorough examination of your eyes!

Dr. Stephey is AMAZING! If you have a child that has a learning disability, this is the doctor you want to see. I have paid more than $ 45,000. and sold my house to pay for a specialty school for dyslexia for my two children. I wish I had met him sooner. He showed me that both of my children have eye tracking, eye teaming issues which is an eye/​brain problem that could be fixed with vision therapy. He directed me in the direction I should go and placed the right people in my path in order to get the school district to pay for the vision therapy. Thank the LORD for a doctor that cares and wants to make a difference. With that being said make you allow amply time to spend with him because he gives you a lot of information. –Traci

Dr. Stephey is amazing! I have never had an Optimotrist who had so much passion for his career. He not only answered took the time to actually find out what was actually going on with my impaired vision but also carried out several visual perception tests to make sure he had it right. And boy did he make a difference in my life. Ever since I have worn my new glasses that have prisms and fluorescent lenses it has made a tremendous difference in my balance, sleep, and more! He is very informative! He’s the best Optimotrist I’ve ever had. I wish I would have found him sooner but glad he’s taking over now.

Dr. Stephy is the best optometrist & very knowledgeable! My daughter finished vision therapy & improved significantly! Dr. Stephy also helped my older daughter & she no longer gets headaches. Thank God the school district paid for my daughters vision therapy & thank you Dr. Stephy for educating us on student rights! Dr. Stephy cares about his patients so much & takes his time to explain everything & thank you once again!

Dr. Stephey is very personable and his knowledge about how our eyes work together with our brain is truly amazing. I was completely blown away by what I learned during my eye exam. Dr. Stephey is unlike any optometrist I have ever met and I truly appreciate how much he cares for his patients. I am so thankful I found him!

It should be known that this Dr. is an Interactive Metronome Provider. He is listed as a provider to this product on their web site. Which is fine, if you are looking for an Interactive Metronome Provider. I believe people should be aware when a doctor is using his office as a sales front for a product that will profit him directly. I wish that prior to starting the testing process on my daughter for a possible learning disability that I would have known he was a provider for what he proposed as the cure.

I was recommended to Dr. Stephey by my mother and am I glad that I took her advice.
Dr. Stephey does not merely give a solution to your symptoms, but explains to you the root of the problem with different ways to solve them. Recently my vision has declined due to too much close-​up work and I knew that simply getting glasses to correct my near-​sightedness would make my vision worse in the long-​run. So instead of merely prescribing me regular glasses he prescribed me bifocals to use as-​needed. He explained to me that over time as I use the reading glasses portion my eyes will better relax.
He also explained to me very clearly what was wrong with my eyes in various ways. I found it informative and extremely intriguing! Dr. Stephey even addressed many of my scientific questions right after our appointment by emailing me scientific research articles to support his explanations. He is the only doctor who I have ever known to do that!
Receptionists were kind and I did not have to wait long at all. I highly recommend!

Several people in my family have been going to Dr. Stephey for years, and we’ve always been very happy with our choice. He’s friendly and fun, great at putting patients at ease, and genuinely interested in his patients. The receptionists and assistants have always been nice and helpful, and they’ll patiently wait while you try on 30 different pairs of frames! The selection of frames isn’t huge, but it’s always good. Overall, highly recommended as a nice, small practice with great people.
