Based on reviews, I opted to gift myself the Bali Package for my birthday. OMG! Oliver and his husband are the absolute BEST! I truly felt like I was taken to another world for the few hours I spent in the room. Oliver was soothing, warming, and the treatments were AWESOME!
This place is clean, top notch, friendly,. LOVE OLOVE LOVE

I made an appointment for my girlfriend and I to go for a couples massage. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and the place is beautiful and very cozy. Oliver, the owner, and Patricia came out and were very nice and professional. I received my massage from Oliver and my girlfriend received hers from Patricia. The room was beautiful and very refreshing and relaxing. We loved that we got a nice foot soak and foot rub before our massages. It was by far the best massage I have ever received. Being that I have chronic Lyme disease, my back can be pretty stiff and achy, but Oliver got out so many of the knots and made me feel much better. We will defiantly be going back sometime.

This spa is trying really hard to be a 5* experince, but it falls short. The ambiance was nice amd the massage therapist was quite good. The room wasn’t very warm and neither was the massage table. However, thats not the issue I had with my 3* rating. The problem was that for the price, nothing short of 5* is acceptable. If they would cut their prices by 25−30%, we would go back and I would recommend this spa to locals. Otherwise, for a 5* experince for 5* prices, go to the City and have the entire experience worth the price tag. Too expensive for services rendered.

Had a deep tissue massage here yesterday afternoon. As my scheduled therapist Patricia became unavailable, I had the good fortune to have one of the owners, Oliver, fill in for her. Simply said, the BEST massage I have ever had. The genuine warmth and amazing craft of this gentleman is beyond description — I have never felt so relaxed and genuinely «healed» in a physical sense before. If you want a great massage experience, this IS the place to go.

Was an amazing Sunday afternoon facial. The location was very relaxing and the facial was done with quality products and in a very attentive manner. The staff was accommodating. The facial was customized to meet my needs Definitely will return.

We started going to the Bloomfield location which we love, but we had to try the Cranford location when it opened, and we love both. My sister and I have frequented many spas in NYC as well as vacation destinations over the years and are so grateful that we are able to treat ourselves to a pampering getaway at Flic Spa. Every experience has been an amazing escape from day-​to-​day life with its relaxing ambiance and impeccable service. Oliver makes us feel like part of the family, and he always goes above and beyond to relieve our stress and tension. Priscilla catered to my needs and the pressure was just right.

Great service! My boyfriend and I had a couple’s massage — lovely suite. The foot soak was a nice touch! The place makes you feel like you’re on vacation. Excellent service, great message, serene ambiance! Highly Recommend!

Made a reservation for pampering on Mother’s Day 1 month ahead of time and was canceled the night before. When i asked to speak with the manager was told he’s not available for a week. Unbelievable the level of customer service. #flicspa #oliver

Seriously beautiful spa. Very zen and instantly relaxing atmosphere. I came here after buying a Spafinder-​type giftcard on groupon and recieved a 50 minute Swedish massage. I was very surprised when I was treated to a complimentary foot soak and a hot tea to unwind before the massage. The foot bath had rose petals and tea lights floating in the water and I was alone in a dark room with my pot of tea. So relaxing. The massage was okay. The masseuse was very nice and professional, and seemed to have the motions down, I think the pressure just wasn’t for me. I definitely want to try this place again though, even at full price I think the atmosphere alone is worth it.

I used to love this place but after their latest scam, I’m done!
Both my husband and I used to go there! I referred many people there as well!
I had to cancel an appointment for my husband and I! I cancelled 3 days before the appointment! I had left a message and was planning on calling back to reschedule!
I get a call on the day I had the appointment asking where I was! I told the girl I had left a message canceling! She questioned when I called and that was it! I even checked my phone to see when and called back to tell her because I did not like her tone! I then decided to reschedule!
She places me on hold and tells me the date I wanted was busy and would need a credit card to hold the appointment! I told her I never did that before! She said it was policy! I decided to give it and made the appointment!
Two days later there is a charge on my account for over $ 200 from them!
I was furious! I called left a message! Oliver called me back and I told him why am I being charged? He said a 24 hour notice is required for a cancellation! I told him I called three days before and it’s not my fault they didn’t cancel me! He was completely UNapologetic!!!
He said he would refund my money!!!
I was trying to understand why he did what he did! They were deceitful in asking for my credit card to hold the reservation when they actually used it to charge my card! That is terrible!
Oliver could care less, all he cared about was if I was going to keep my upcoming appointment!
I cancelled one of the reservation and kept the other because I had a gift certificate!!!
But I will never go there again!
They are sneaky and could care less about their clients!
This negative review has nothing to do with their therapists!
But be aware of management!!!
Shame on you!

I love the ambiance, I have not seen a spa like this in NJ until here. It reminded me of a 4 star hotel spa in Bali. But I detest the female receptionist when I arrived. She was rude, unthoughtful, and disrespectful. Additionally, I’ve had better facials, where it did not ruin my skin and absorb all the natural oils and leave my skin dry from the alcohol and alcohol based products used. Not the spa therapists fault, just the supplies and products used in the spa. All that said, I have heard good things about the massages here, I guess I have to wait and see how my massage experience will be. To be continued …

I love, Love, LOVE this place! Every time I visit home I always make sure to stop in with my mom for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The owner and staff are always friendly and professional. The spa itself is clean and has a wonderful, relaxing ambiance. Can’t wait for my next trip! I’m hoping to get a gift certificate to this spa for Christmas. :)

Merry Christmas. We were hoping our first time would be a special Christmas gift to one another. We called two weeks before and asked if they were open on Christmas eve, made our appointments for two hours of massages and other treatments. Then on the December 20^th we get a call to change our appointment. Needless to say our appointments were cancelled and the person we spoke to left us feeling we were lied to about our appointments not being in the book.
Our entire day was planned around the afternoons treatments. Safe to say we won’t be going here to try any of their treatments in the future.

Had a relaxing visit. Really friendly staff. Place is really clean. Receive massage as a present. Would definitely go back !

Great massage and nice, I mean really nice facility. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the insane prices and the fact that the massage my girlfriend received left her with bruises and mine left me extremely sore (we did ask for deep tissue, but man!). Overall I would recommend if you’re in the area, although there are less expensive options nearby.

I received a Mother’s Day gift certificate which included a classic package according to FlicSpa, Cranford NJ. The décor was very nice and the foot wash/​scrub/​soak with the flower petals was a nice touch. While this was being done, the masseuse (short Hispanic lady) asked me which areas to concentrate on? I stated my shoulders and neck. When it was time for me to get a full-​body massage, it wasn’t what I expected! She did everything but concentrate on the areas that I asked for. For the amount of money that was spent for the gift certificate, I was disappointed. The tea did not taste good and I left FlicSpa not feeling refreshed. I received much better massages in the past at other establishments for a cheaper price. I will not be returning to FlicSpa!

A massage to die for!!! I have had my fair share of experience with massages. I can’t say that I am able to get them every month, however I am able to get them several times a year and I have been to a variety of spas from Bliss in NYC to your mom & pop spas… Flic, is by far one of my absolute favorites.
I have waited after two visits to write this review. Both times I had packages with a foot soak and massage. The masseuses are amazing. However, I have to say, Alexa today took the cake. I told the receptionist, I need her to move in with me. LOL. I had a Hawaiian lomi lomi type massage, and omg, everyone must try it sometime in their lives. The masseuses do really take their time and it really relaxes you. The foot soaks are not super long but they are relaxing (with real fragrant flower petals). I almost didn’t want to write this review for my own selfishness so that no one else will know. ;)
The facilities are beautiful, serene, clean and very zen. Parking is easy in the lot within the same building. Absolutely love and highly recommend! I am looking to go back soon!

What a wonderful experience! They accommodated my request for a same day appointment and I am so glad they did,
I came in for the anti-​oxidant facial and was scheduled with Jocian. Upon arrival I asked her if I should switch to the more expensive anti-​aging facial and she explained that the anti-​oxidant facial was one of their most popular, and an excellent choice for my skin. I very much appreciated her honesty and the fact that she wasn’t focused on up selling me.
Jocian took her time, explained what she was doing and I could tell she really cared about providing an exceptional experience.
I’m excited to share she also provided excellent results. My husband said my skin was «glowing» when I arrived home. :) I can’t wait to go back again soon.
The spa itself is beautiful. I rarely get facials so can’t comment on the prices compared to other places. I can say I feel like my money was very well spent.
