History

Established in 2014.

Ron «Heartsong» Edwards is a Honorably Discharged Service-​Disabled Veteran

(USMC) 1985. He first came to Crested Butte in 1986 for 10 days and stayed for

3 years! He returned for a visit in 2013 and the welcome after 27 years was so

heartfelt and warm that he and his family moved here in August 2013 from

Santa Fe, NM.

Ron began his Heartsong’s Caribbean Crunchie Business in April 2014 by selling wholesale to local businesses as far as Gunnison, CO and then from June through October at the Crested Butte Farmers Market. In May 2015 an opportunity for a retail space became available and Ron signed on and renovated to create a colorful, relaxing Caribbean vibe… Heartsong’s Caribbean Café…providing a place of peace and serving joy, love, and laughter with Organic foods and drinks.
