South Cicero Avenue is a continuous strip mall of monotonic fast food places. I was pleased to come across this newly-​opened sandwich spot offering «gourmet» sandwiches. They bill themselves as a café and deli and they also do catering. How about a muffaletta, or a chicken artichoke panini or even a chipotle steak wrap? Yep, you can get them all here.
I had the lunch special which consisted of half a sandwich plus soup. I chose the muffaletta and the tomato basil bisque. Nice meaty sandwich which momentarily put me in a New Orleans daydream mode. It was served with what looked like homemade potato chips and a generous pickle slice.
Its a non-​descript storefront with a few tables serving up unexpected delights.
