Bash, Please

Hiring Bash, Please was one of the best decisions we made for our Los Angeles wedding. My now-​husband and I got married in September and we were living in New York at the time. I never thought I would have a full-​service wedding planner, but planning the wedding from across the country while we both work full time as lawyers didn’t seem feasible. When I started looking for wedding planners, I looked at a lot of websites, but it was Bash, Please’s portfolio that resonated most with my husband and me. They didn’t all have the style I was going for, but they all had the «feel» I was going for. When I read their manifesto online, I was hooked. No Marriott ballrooms for this couple! We wanted something that felt more like a big dinner party that was soft and romantic with a few quirks, and that’s exactly what we got. Working with Bash, Please was incredible. We had a bit of a hiccup at one point when our planner switched jobs, but ultimately we ended up working with Emily and Siena, and they were fantastic. I did not want to have to do anything but focus on getting married on my wedding day, and they made that happen in the most beautiful and efficient manner.
As for our wedding, people are still talking about it. It is cliché to say it was the happiest day of my life, but it really was. I would not have changed a single thing about our wedding (except that it was during a crazy heat wave, thank goodness it was an evening wedding!). Each detail was perfect, the style cohesive, and it had exactly the feel that I wanted. It was so freaking fun! My sister is now engaged, and told me she essentially wants to do my wedding all over again as her wedding, that’s how awesome it was. Another friend went to a wedding two weeks after ours that cost nearly $ 200k, and said ours (at a WAY smaller budget) was much better.
Bash, please worked really well with my budget, though I did keep tabs on things to make sure we didn’t go too far over budget. I had a «small» wedding with 100 people, and Emily and Siena did a fantastic job working within the budget that we felt comfortable with.
I wholeheartedly recommend Bash, Please to plan any event.

I worked in conjunction with this company at a high profile event. Let’s just say that in my past 5 years of working multiple high profile events, this was the absolute worst I’ve ever been treated as a vendor. I’m not sure who these women think they are– their egos are through the roof for no apparent reason other than being Pinterest fanatics. They were completely rude from the minute I called to confirm event details– «I don’t understand what else you need to know. We’re obviously going to meet you there». Funny, because there were minor details like «you can’t valet– park across the highway». a) HOW RUDE b) That would have been a nice mention (it certainly would have taken less time than the «why the hell are you calling» speech).
The snobby attitude problem continued throughout the event with multiple condescending and unnecessary comments– things including «don’t sit on the furniture» (rocks were there alternative), «put your stuff behind the hedge» (which was muddy), «umm you want water? I don’t know if the bar has water» (???). Needless to say, it was extremely frustrating and disheartening to work an event with such horribly disrespectful people– especially because the actual hosts and guests were incredibly grateful and sweet.
I have already made sure to tell several of my wedding planning friends about this company and will avoid all future contact with them.

Over and over, people just kept saying «best wedding ever». Many people specifically used the word «detail». «Every detail was paid attention to». «I just loved every detail.»
The Bash Please ladies take care of everything. It’s so great that in addition to planning, they can design and do florals as well, bc btw, they ROCK at that stuff. They recommended a great group of vendors (or party enablers, as I like to call them), and again, we kept hearing «best wedding food ever»; «best dj ever», etc
Their care for the environment was a great bonus for me — there is nothing pushy or hippie-​dippy about being green for them, it’s just an important thing to keep in mind at every phase and to be concerned about when possible.
On top of all that, they are LOVELY, communicative people. The only thing I was sad about after our wedding day was that we wouldn’t be seeing them anymore. We’ll have to come up with another excuse to throw another big bash soon!

Bash, Please made sure our wedding day was not only gorgeous but also personal and intimate. Finding the perfect fit for our venue, caterer and bartender would not have been as easy or fun with out them. Their curated list of vendors totally delivered so we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our big day.
These ladies have a keen eye for style and every detail was executed wonderfully. They took our seeds of ideas and ran with them, giving us exactly what we wanted and then some. A million thanks to Paige, Kelly and right hand super star Melissa for creating a magical day with sublime décor and steller ambiance that all our guests are still chatting about.

I love the ladies of Bash Please. I’ve worked with them on a professional level many, many times, and their events are always the most beautiful, thoughtful and original shindigs in town. And aside from being professional and truly passionate about what they do, they are also a lot of fun. If you want a truly remarkable event, you need them on your team. Hire them asap!
