dbaArchitects is an architectural and interior design firm based in Culver City. We pride ourselves on our resourcefulness and our ability to work within real-​world constraints.

We have experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, restaurant, medical office, bakery, creative office, and nightclub design.

History

Established in 2003.

dbaArchitects was started upon the conclusion of my twenty years of employment at Prats/​Coffee, Inc. Prats/​Coffee, a design/​build firm, was dissolved in 2003 upon the retirement of one of the partners. I started dbaArchitects to carry on the tradition of high quality design and client satisfaction that was standard at Prats/​Coffee. Many of the clients from my days at Prats/​Coffee are still my clients today.

Steve P.

Business Owner

Steve Pribyl graduated from Rice University in 1980 with Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. He was licensed as an architect in California shortly thereafter. He worked at a number of firms, including HOK in San Francisco and Dallas, and other design firms.

Steve plays uilleann pipes and can be found in various irish music sessions around town in his spare time.
