Very lean store, but they had a very impressive selection of a lot of excellent films. Darrell was very nice and knowledgeable about his wares. Will definitely be returning every time I’m in la!

I stopped in this store to find a Christmas gift for my husband(he loves all things cinema). Due to his large collection, I’m always worried about buying him films and blue rays that he already owns. Especially because I don’t know film like he does. This store was amazing! They have a great selection of tough to find titles as well as a lot of foreign films. All of their merchandise is in perfect condition. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect gifts for my husband. He was very kinda and I look forward to coming back often to support this wonderful local business!

Cinephiles and Blu-ray lovers rejoice — this is an amazing new spot for us! Don’t let the unassuming storefront fool you; behind it is a treasure trove of international cinema. I thought I had seen a lot of movies… then I met Darrell, who is everything you hope a shop owner to be: honest, enthusiastic, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He never talks down to you, and his passion is infectious. He encourages you to try out any disc before you buy it. On top of that, his prices are super reasonable, especially if you factor in what it would cost in taxes and shipping from a foreign Amazon site and YesAsia. I need to pace my visits, because each time I go I spend hours talking movies with Darrell and always end up buying something. But his selection grows by the week so I have to stay updated, right? So far I’ve picked up UK Masters of Cinema editions of Fritz Lang’s «Spies,» Pasolini’s «Accattone,» and Lubitsch’s «Madame Dubarry.» Are you still reading this? Head over there already!

Awesome shop. I was in today & picked up 10 nearly impossible-to-find Kaurismäki films, Powell & Pressburger’s «A Matter of Life & Death», an 80’s Jacques Demy musical on the life of Yves Montand, starring Yves Montand(!), & a few more. The owner Darrell is super friendly & knowledgeable. Cinephiles, get thee to Foreign Exchange & support an amazing indie!
