My daughter has seen Dr. Reder for her dental care. She is very nice, honest and my teen daughter said that she is gentle. Unfortunately, our insurance is not accepted at her office, so we have paid cash for her services. This review is also for the orthodontic services received at Dr. Reder’s office, because this is why we started coming here. My daughter has braces and she is now approaching the end of treatment. I paid cash in monthly payments and felt that the price for services was good. I did a lot of shopping around, not only for price but competency and honesty. There are many dishonest orthodontists, do your research. I traveled around, getting free evaluations, costs etc., going to South Los Angeles, South Bay, and Westside. The office has stuck to the time on the treatment plan and there have been no extra surprise fees. Length of time was estimated at 1.5 years at Dr. Reder’s office. I had consultations at other offices giving me anywhere from 1.5 years up to 3.5 years. My daughter’s teeth were a straightforward, relatively easy fix. The pre-​treatment services, photos and x-​rays that they referred me to were also professional. Overall, I couldn’t be more happy to give this office a great review. Gabby at the front desk is organized and professional. The end result is that I paid a good price, was able to make affordable monthly payments and my daughter is happy with her great smile.

OK to be fair I was not treated by Dr. Reder — I went to this office for an orthodontic consult because they are on the list of DDSs that accept my insurance. My teeth are mildly out of alignment and I was interested in what could be done (invisaline vs. traditional etc.) I had been to another orthodontist who gave me multiple options, which I expected from this office as well. After a cursory examination that lasted less than 60 seconds, without even examining my bite I was told that braces won’t straighten my teeth, I should get veneers. WHAT!!! Just to be absolutely clear on what I heard I asked «Just so I am clear — As an orthodontist you are stating braces will not straighten my teeth?» Yes the orthodontist replied — «Braces will not straighten your teeth, you should try veneers.» WTW!!! I give this office 5 stars for comedy, 0 stars for skilled orthodontics. I do not have misshapen snaggly and broken teeth, just mild crowding due to wisdom teeth growing in. SMH — «Braces will not straighten your teeth.»

My whole family got their semi-​annual teeth cleaning done here recently. The staff was very professional and thorough. My 2 kids didn’t complain at all during the teeth cleaning which is quite unusual for them when we went to other dentists.
I also wanted to note that my previous dentist had recommended about $ 2000 worth of dental work on my teeth based on digital x-​rays. That was very strange given that 6 months before that at my cleaning I had been told I had very good teeth. I was very surprised when Dr. Reder told me that the recommended treatments by the previous dentist were a little «aggressive» and not necessary. Her honesty and professionalism saved my thousands of dollars. A «diamond in the rough» to say the least.

Dr. Reder is great! Since my first visit to my most recent appointment, all of my experiences have been pleasant. Dr. Reder is kind, sociable and above all professional. Her staff is no less than exemplary. I am not one that has a phobia of dental visits, but while in the care of Dr. Reder and her staff I felt comfortable and at ease. I recommend her services if you are in search of a dentist.

I was referred to Dr Reder to get my crown done after having an extraction and implant performed by Dr Estess. I was so impressed with his work, that I did not question his referral. And I’m glad I didn’t. Dr Reder is very calm and gentle — better for me as anything related to dentists tend to make me queasy. She is very clear with her explanations and works with your schedule as best as possible. I’m in need of my crown a little sooner than normal due to unforeseen travel plans and she and her staff have been very accommodating whenever possible. I highly recommend Dr Reder!

I’ll be the first to admit I’m a giant wuss when it comes to dealing with dental pain. And so while the pain was to be expected, I know a «pain considerate» dentist when I get one. Unfortunately, Dr. Reder is not that dentist. After my body convulsed in pain from her flossing the teeth in between my permanent top retainer (first dentist to do this, others usually use tools) she simply told me I needed to floss more. I was about to punch her in the ovaries. Fortunately, I did not and simply told myself I’m not letting this lady work on my cavities.
I don’t need warm hugs under a rainbow and and a lollipop when I’m getting my teeth cleaned, but a little bit of actual care is expected.

Dr Reder is the best! I had a lifelong family dentis. She suddenly died of cancer. I was very scared of the thought that I had to find a new dentist. I was told about Teresa through friends of mine at my work. Well I couldn’t be any more happy then I am! In fact I even bring my kids to her and they love her and her office staff! I couldn’t imagine going to any other dentist today! I have to say I was reading up prior review and somebody was complaining about getting xrays at the dentist I mean that’s just status quo when you go to a new dentist they take xrays that’s what they do! Also her staff is very professional and very very helpful. Again you’re looking for denist I have no problem telling you to go here!

I brought my son here for dental work, and my daughter was having problems with her retainer, and Dr. Reder fixed my daughter’s retainer at no charge to me at all. I get my son’s ortho care here as well, and I am very satisfied with her services. She is not only professional and a great dentist, she has a very warm heart and treats our family very well. I am a big chicken when it comes to getting dental work, and Dr Reder makes me feel at ease and is very patient with my cowardliness. Her staff are professional and friendly as well.

This is a great family Dental office. My friend recommended Dr. Teresa’s dental practice about 6 yrs ago and my whole family has been going to her (even my extended family). This is a very welcoming office; everyone is very nice and friendly. The office was remodeled about a year ago and it is very modern and updated.
Dr. Teresa is very knowledgeable in her field, patient and is very gentile (which is perfect for my 10 year old). My daughter used to be terrified of dentists but Dr Teresa was very comforting and had a warm motherly thing about her that my daughter allowed her to treat her without putting up a fight. My daughter always looks forward to her twice a year cleanings now because Dr. Teresa always has a reward for her at the end of the session. Tip: I like booking back to back Saturday appointments for my family on the same day.

I visited Dr. Reder after my wife and 5-​year-​old son had been going to her for a couple years now. My dentist I’ve used for 20 years is now far away making a ½ day trip required for a simple cleaning. So I decided to visit Dr. Reder because of the strong family referral and my close proximity of her office.
The office is cool, clean and comfortable. They seem to have the newest technology, allowing you to watch on large monitors anything you want to see about your teeth. Dr. Reder took time to answer all my questions and was not only attentive to me, but showed an unusual (and refreshing) concern about my comfort. My visit was to replace a mercury filling-​replacement had had caused hyper-​sensitivity to cold. Dr. Reder apologized the moment she had to administer the anesthesia (which didn’t hurt at all) and, although I was prepared for her to start shortly after the numbness set in, she insisted on waiting a bit longer to make sure that my experience was comfortable and that I would feel nothing.
I hope to visit Dr. Reder as infrequently as possible, but when I do need to visit her, I know the experience will be comfortable.

Hidden gem in Culver City! I’m very picky about who works on my teeth & my family is very fortunate to find Dr. Reder’s office. Had a crown worked on recently… she felt confortable that we could avoid a root canal…& she was right!!!
Been going there for a couple years now. Don’t be mistaken by the outside. Conveniently located in shopping center (Inglewood /​Braddock) … you’ll be surprised when you walk in. The office is very nice & appears to have all the latest dental devices.
The office manager here (Vicky) is wonderful. Billing is always correct & they treat me like a valued customer. My last dentist (Culver Del Rey), the front office girls were brutal.
So far, very happy with treatment on my daugher’s braces.

While I have taken my son to Dr. Gonzalez-​Reder for about 2 years, I only recently went as a patient myself. I hadn’t been to the dentist in some time and was expecting the worst. Well, I did have several issues, but the staff was not pushy and gave me a full list of what needed to be done along with prices. (Since I don’t have dental insurance, this was very helpful.) I got about half the work done on the same day and was not pushed to do anymore than I wanted. The doctor was very gentle and did not have a conversation with her assistant as she worked on me. (I have had dentists do that and it is really an annoyance to me!) She asked her office person to turn up the music, went to work and told me if I wanted her to stop at anytime to raise my left hand. (No dentist has ever been so considerate when do work before!) She still checked in on me as I the procedures took about 1.5 hrs. to ask if I needed a break and check on my comfort.
Additionally, she’s having her office remodeled! It looks great! I’ve recommended her to a few friends already!

I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 10 years because of severe dental anxiety, but had a couple of badly chipped teeth that needed attention. I explained my anxiety to Dr. Reder and she was very understanding.
Long story short, Dr. Reder, and her staff, made my visit as pleasant as any visit to the Dentist could possibly be, and I no longer break out in a cold sweat at the thought off going to the Dentist.
As such, I have found the dentist for me.

So after calling a bunch of dentists that I had found on Unilocal with good and lots of reviews trying to get an appointment for later on that day and none being available I called Dr. Reder and got an appointment for later on that same day.
The office is located on inglewood and braddock where the Subway is. So I show up bout 20 minutes early for my 4 pm appointment and I fill out the usual new patient paperwork. I thought I was just here for a cleaning but the receptionist tells me I need xrays because they need to know if I have cavities. I went ahead with the xrays although I didn’t really want to.
X-​rays went smoothly and I was then put in another room (see picture) to wait. When Dr. Reder arrives (pretty lady) she looks at the x rays and tells me everything looks good she sees one tiny cavity but nothing needs to be done to it. Who would’ve guessed my fucked up teeth and I who never visit the dentist were in good shape. I also thought crap I just spent unnecessary money on xrays LOL oh well.
Next up was the cleaning, I don’t know how long these things are supposed to last but I felt it was rather quick. I felt no discomfort or anything during the cleaning so it all went pretty good imo.
I would definitely come here again. The cleaning was 85 bux plus 45 for the xrays.
