got a nasty fungal infection under fingernails. Dermatologist put me on 48 weeks of antifungal treatment. BEWARE

I will start off by saying the manicure was nothing special… I got my nails looking nice and that’s all I was looking for. However, the experience was horrible!!! The woman who did my nails was rude, and the two men who were in the salon were eating and belching and watching YouTube videos loudly. How can anyone be this obnoxious with a customer in the vicinity? It made me feel like the place was dirty. I will not be returning here… absolutely disgusting! Only reason for 2 stars is the nails came out fine.

Okay, seriously… I can’t get behind these ratings. I just got done with my second gel manicure & regular pedicure and I will never return.
My first visit was with some of a bridal party (rehearsal girls), including the bride, the morning of the rehearsal dinner. We all got mani/​pedis, I elected to have a gel manicure. It was about 9:30am on a weekday and we were the only people there the entire time. There were four nail techs on and we were rushed through every part of the experience. From the speedy pedicure that was most certainly not «spa» like and felt more like a polish change, to the rude behavior of the staff when we weren’t fast enough to hobble over to the manicure stations it was just bad.
We were wearing navy blue bridesmaids dresses and I found the perfect color to compliment it. You know the one, not too pink but not too light. I sat down only to find out they are out of the color, it’s just straight up a bone dry bottle. Okay, no biggie. I go to choose a different one and they’re out of that color as well. I wanted to look at two different colors after that and was answered with an eye roll and a «you come here! you look, I don’t have time» by the nail tech. Great.
I found a color that was suitable and she rushed through the manicure so quickly that there was lint underneath the color that ended up being pretty see through and my cuticles looked like someone had taken a hacksaw to them. Frustrated but in the midst of being rushed out the door and not wanting to upset the bride, I explained what was wrong and they told me to come back another time and they would re-​do my nails.
With the wedding weekend and a crazy schedule last week, I went back today. After explaining to the very same tech who told me to come back that I was there for them to re-​do my nails about three times, I was shown to a pedicure station. Once again, a rush job — I just had to take a q-​tip to my cuticles to remove the excess nail polish. The tech was aggressive and I actually had to beg him to stop hurting me… so much for a «spa» pedicure, yet again.
After I was done being tortured, I was instructed to sit at a manicure station and was reprimanded the entire hobble over for not being careful enough… I may be a bit clumsy but I’ve had a lot of pedicures and know what a b*tch it is to have them redone.
The gel manicure came out well, unlike my toes, but I spent the entire time being yelled at for moving a certain way. The word «NO!» was yelled at me every time I took a breath. UGH!
Rating reasoning — one star for the neck and shoulder massage while your nails dry, one star for the cute puppies running around the salon. Well, not sure if that is even sanitary but they were the reason I made it out of the situation a little less scarred.
Side note — the prices are unreasonably high for the quality. For a salon that can’t even afford signage I’m not sure where the money is going.

My gel manicure and my pedicure was good. The technician took her time and my nails were beautiful. The neck and shoulder massage while I waited for my nails to dry was a nice touch. I decided to book a massage for two days later. My ADVICE after the massage is DON’T!!! The room is cold. There is no heating pad, or anything to keep you warm. The timer is the traditional egg timer and you hear that ticking for 60 minutes. It was not relaxing. They definitely need to invest in a digital timer. You can also hear everything going on outside because there was no music to cover over the noise. I get a lot of massages, and I am not that overly picky. I often go to the mall sometimes if I need one quick and there, they at least make an attempt to relax you while you are getting beaten on. :) So go for the nails, save your money on the massage and go somewhere else.

I’ve been looking for a nail salon to become my regular ‘place’ … This was on my list to try. I went first thing in the morning and was the first customer in. I had my young son with me and the staff were all very nice and accommodating to him — gave him a drink, turned on a movie for him etc. The staff there were all very pleasant and attentive and I enjoyed my pedicure. I’ll definitely be going back. They also have a punch card that you get $ 5 off after 5 visits.

Usually good place… NOT TODAY! The worst pedicure ever! THe owner sits on his a** the whole day and is on his phone. Sometimes he even has a video playing on his computer loud enough for others to have to listen to! He picks his nose. SO GROSS!

Great nail salon. Being new to the area it came highly recommended and I understand why. They took the time to take care of me.

Great service, the best massage chairs and super clean! A huge selection of colors and doesn’t smell like chemicals. My new favorite place!

Awesome pedicure massage and massaging chair! Clean and sanitary. Lots of colors to choose from. 3 workers there at the time. A nice gentlemen who did my pedicure was great. The nice gentlemen who did my fill was drill happy. The drill was jumping everywhere. Nice shape and length but because the drill kept jumping it left deep lines almost looks like deep natural nail ridges. That is the reason for the 3 rather than 5 stars. I will forgive and go back. $ 20 for fill and $ 28 for standard pedicure. I wish they would lower that $ 20 fill to at least $ 18 to be more competitive. They have punch cards! Great idea to save money on mani’s and pedi’s. They also run a different special each month. But when I visited a few days into the month he was still deciding what this months special would be. They also give a relaxing neck and shoulder massage while your drying! Can’t wait to come back for another pedi. See you very soon

Let me just start by saying I am very particular about where I get my nails done.
That being said, this place is awesome!!! The women told me they have been open for a little over a year. The place is very bright, clean, and nicely decorated.
I came here on Mothers Day with my mother and 2 sisters. I called them that morning and they were able to accommodate us and even did all 4 of our pedicures together!
They give you a great leg and foot massage (much longer than any where else).
After we finished our pedicures we all decided to get a shellac manicure as well. The have a ton of colors to choose from.
At the end of the manicure they give you an amazing neck & shoulder massage.
It was such a nice relaxing time. We all left extremely happy and refreshed!
I only wish I lived closer!!! We will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to them for waxing this year. Most places in Cumberland do not offer any waxing besides just eyebrows and lip. What about other body parts? So, this place does any body part and pretty inexpensive. The room they use is clean, very small. The only down side is that there is no chair or hook for clothes or a bag to put on. The biggest issue I have with this place is that even though I call to make appointments in advance, when I walk in, they are all busy and act as if I didn’t make an appointment and I have to wait for one of them to free up. Why then accept appointments if they cannot be honored? Unfortunately, I’m stuck going there because no one else does what they do in this time.

Best pedicure I’ve ever had! Super clean and professional. I’d recommend diamond to everyone!

First place I have found in Cumberland that I love! To me, cleanliness is the most important thing when it comes to nails. This place was extremely clean, and they use newly wrapped nail utensils for each client. The manicure was excellent, and there was a nice long shoulder massage while my nails dried. I definitely recommend this salon. Right next to Jims deli!

Happy they made it to Cumberland. I moved to Cumberland in the Fall of 2013 and I continued to go to their nail salon on Hope Street in providence because they are the best. So excited that they are here in Cumberland as well now!

A couple of weeks ago, I was out running errands, and realized I was I’m desperate need of a pedicure. A quick search on my handy dandy Unilocal app showed me Diamond Nails was close by.
I walked into a clean, bright establishment, and was quickly greeted. I was asked to pick a polish and led to a seat. The water was nice and hot, and the chair was super comfy (and worked!). However, once there, I sat. And waited. And waited. If they had said «we will be with you in just a bit» or anything along those lines, I would have no problem. But they didn’t. :-(
Once the technician started though, it was a lovely experience. My feet and calves were so well treated, and my toes looked wonderful!
While my toes were drying, I was offered a massage, which– to me, at least– was a bit different. But it was free, and it was very nice.
A note about colors– I always pick a shade of teal for my toes, and most places only have one or two shades to pick from, if any. Diamond had a great selection of every color under the rainbow!
And about the «special» a couple of reviewers mentioned: it appears that the special is: spend $ 55, get something free. The signs were handwritten, and I would guess it’s implementation (ie does it have to be all one person, or does it count if one person pays for multiple people) would depend on who was working. Communication amongst staff may not be strong.
I’m looking forward to another pedicure here, to see if the waiting (at least to telling me I will wait) will be the same, and enjoy selecting another shade of teal for my toes!

The previous review is not true, you can not go in and get two $ 29 pedicures and then get a free one. Each person had to buy the $ 55 pedicure then each person would get one. My friend and I didn’t want to spend $ 55 dollars each so we got the $ 28 pedicure, and it was blah. They didn’t really spend that much time on your heels, and they made my friends big toe nail bed bleed. We won’t be going back.

I haven’t had a great mani/​pedi in a while. My neighbor has been getting her nails done at Diamond for a while and suggested I give them a try. I am so happy I did! I finally got the pedi I was looking fore and my feet look and feel great! The mani — fantastic! I originally grabbed a few magazines to look at while getting my feet done, but never looked at them because it was so relaxing! I stopped by a friends the evening I had my nails done and she noticed how great they looked.
Diamond Nails & Spa is a hidden gem and close (located across from Lincoln Mall). If you are looking for an excellent mani/​pedi, stop in and give the ladies a try!

Ever since we moved to Rhode Island three years ago I have been trying to find «my» nail salon. I don’t get pedicures very often but when I do I want it to be worth it and not too expensive. This place is it! For $ 28 you get a pedicure, a fantastic leg and foot massage and then (and this is the best part) while your toes are drying under the fans, you get a complimentary (tips are greatly appreciated) neck and shoulder massage which was AWESOME!!! Plus, right now if you spend $ 55 (my mom and I went together and voila, $ 56) you get a gift certificate for a free pedicure. Which means I’ll be headed back as soon as I can find the time! Oh… and the massage chairs are amazing as well! If your feet and hands are in need of some TLC, this is the place to go!
