I have been coming to this dental office for many years, even before Dr Kenny Wu took over the office space. The previous dentist in this office was Pauline Hsu, who actually used to go to my church. also, one of the dental assistants is my sister’s classmate’s mom. anyway, dr wu is really cool. he always asks about my personal life and he is very friendly. he does a good job on my teeth and makes sure not to go over the insurance limit. I had a major surgery with him this year to put a crown on one of my back teeth, and he did a great job.

So far so good. First, a little about the office. The office is on the smaller side. There is one denitst(Dr. Wu), one receptionist, and one or two hygienists. There are 2 dental chairs in the office. Since Dr. Wu is the sole practitioner here, it makes sense that the office is small, and that is not a bad thing. I have been to Dr Wu twice now, and I have nothing but great things to say. The first time I went in was just for a simple cleaning. I haven’t had a cleaning in a while, but it felt good to finally get the chompers cleaned out. Dr. Wu performed the cleaning himself. We talked about our mutual interest in playing basketball on the weekends as well as both having baby girls(he has 2 daughters). The second time that I visited Dr. Wu was for a crown. Obviously more intense than a simple cleaning. This is the first time that I’ve had to get a crown, and it wasn’t a terrible experience. Dr. Wu did a great job of completely numbing the area that needed the work. I didn’t feel a thing other than the vibrations from the drill etc. He had to also trim away some inflamed gum tissue, and I didn’t feel that either. Obviously there was/is a little pain after the fact since I just had some dental surgery, but nothing more than expected. I currently have a temp crown in place, and I will be going back in a few weeks to get the permanent crown put in. Choosing a dentist can be a pain, but Dr Wu is pretty awesome. He also speaks fluent Chines(I think Mandarin only) for any of you folks that are looking for a bilingual dentist!
