Many life experiences from an early age such as taking apart motorcycle engines and performing repairs, doing odd and end tractor repairs, being a lifeguard at the age of 15 and being responsible for maintaining the community pool all contributed to a future career in a technical field.

After being around pools for over 20 years, (and being a guy that has taken pride in being able to fix almost anything himself), Andy personally experienced three different leaks at two different homes over a 10 year period of time. With previous experience as a young man as well as being a process technician in a chemical plant (later in life), pressure testing, leak locating and repairing these type of issues –leak detection for pools, sprinkler systems, slab leaks, gas leaks (and other types of leaks) became a natural fit for the birth of A Plus Leak Detection.
