Cypress Floor Care

I recently had John clean and polish my travertine floors. He estimated that it would be a 2 day job to give the floors in his words «mirror finish». After the first half of the day he had finished one area and showed me, it was far from shiny let alone «mirror» like, when i expressed this, to his credit, he did that area again and after that we were satisfied with the results, he went on to do the other areas to the same level, after two days we found that more than a 3^rd of the job still remained. he came back for an additional day of work (more like 5 – 6 hours) — this day he did my entry, foyer, formal living and formal dining room. These are the most important areas for us and unfortunately the last day he came back he rushed the work and the results in these areas are very poor. He spent half the time in these areas so the travertine is really not shiny at all. I feel like he should first of all estimated the time it would take to do the job better, organised for help so that he could finish during that time (we have jobs and a life and can’t be home ridden for days) When you’re spending this kind of money I don’t think you should be left dissatisfied.
