Amazing!!! Maggie is one of my new best friends! She found all the hurting/tense spots and made me feel like jello. Shaolin is very private, with curtains, and a wrap, so you don’t feel exposed. The peaceful music and wonderful massage was just what I needed! I plan to go back every 2 weeks. This place was also recommended to me by my daughter. She was right!!! My new massage place!

Had a horrible crick in my neck all day. Walked in last minute for a chair massage, and was fixed up in 20 minutes for a reasonable price. Might go back for acupressure at a layer date.

Not sure why the bad reviews? I went yesterday for the first time and had a 2 hour massage from a young man — I think his name is spelled Iland(sounds like Island). He was awesome — not only was I impressed by their rooms there — almost spa quality you would pay twice for, I was greeted nicely — his massage was excellent, and no pressure on tips or anything. So as far as I am concerned, its a great place — great atmosphere — great rooms — and if the guy I had massage me is any indication of the others — its TOP’s in my book.

I’ve been coming here for years now. It is by far the best massage I’ve had. Betty is great! I’m sure they all are but I usually stick with one person. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. I’ve been to other places that charge $ 40-$ 50 and they have been dingy and gross. And you usually don’t have your own room! You have your own room here and the beds are so comfortable! I would highly recommend This place for a massage.

It is a hit or miss at this place. I have been here 3 times. I got only one good massage out of 3. They always try to sell you 1 hour massage that is $ 40 when I go there for $ 20 reflexology. I will not come back to this place.

By far the worst massage I have ever had!!! Shaolin massage spa in cypress has some horrible massage people working there!!! The girl was on her cell phone the entire time and massaging with one hand. I realized this because at one point she literally was scratching my head in the same spot for five mins so I opened my eyes to look what was going on. She didn’t even massage lift off the sheet and massage my back ever. I paid for a full body massage and it was more like a hands and feet lotion session. I anted nothing more than for this massage to be over the entire time. I was tempted to get up 10 mins in and leave, but felt awkward so I didn’t. I shouldn’t have paid them anything, but again paid and tipped her $ 10 for absolutely nothing. Be sure to do your homework before going to this place!

Do not get a massage here. Save your money and go to a reputable massage spa. Worst massage experience, ever.

Hi, this review is for the acupuncture service at Shaolin… Before I started seeing Dr. Wang, I was experiencing headaches on a daily basis. I also had knee pain and swelling from years of exercise. I had gone to my personal physician to deal with the headaches, but he felt I had developed migraines and prescribed medication for me. I did not want to take the meds. That’s when I decided to try acupuncture. Dr. Wang is extremely knowledgeable in the field of acupuncture. She comes from a family of generations of doctors/acupuncturists. Her father was a very famous acupuncturist and medical doctor in China. Her brother is also a medical doctor. As I have been seeing Dr. Wang on a regular basis, I have learned she holds special skills to treat difficult diseases, even in situations where western medicine cannot provide relief for painful symptoms. Dr Wang has been able to stop my daily headaches. They are literally gone, and when I do experience a headache, it is not as intense as it used to be. My knee pain and swelling has subsided, also! I am so relieved to have found Dr. Wang. Call her today! Make an appointment to see her and you will find the relief you have been looking for. You will experience the difference NATURAL healing in you body will make. Oh, and just a side note, Dr. Wang is a licensed professional, and can bill your insurance for the services. Maggie, the owner can call your insurance to see if they will cover the acupuncture service.

Where do I start? I guess when you first walk in and see the FedEx sign that’s your first clue. Add to that an annoyed worker who wanted to go home but now couldn’t because we showed up. I don’t know why we stayed but we did. I called earlier in the day to find out if they had room for two people for a hot stone massage. I even asked why there were two different prices for a hot stone massage. The girl who answered the phone didn’t know so I asked the manager Maggie. I was told by Maggie that the $ 75 massage was for 70 minutes where they use the hot stones the entire time. My boyfriend and I arrived and they put us in the same room even though I didn’t ask for a couples massage. Okay no big deal. we got undressed and got under our towel wrap and waited a good 10 minutes before anybody came into the room. The man who was my «masseuse» put a sheet over me and then started to massage me over the sheet, like something you would get at a Chinese reflexology parlor. This went on for about 20 minutes without any kind of pressure at all and he didn’t understand English so he didn’t understand when I said more pressure. In the meantime I hear noises coming out of my boyfriend and a glance over to see his massage therapist walking on him why wasn’t I being walked on!!! I couldn’t even tell I was getting a massage!!! When he finally got to the point where he was going to use hot stones he put a towel over my sheet and then another towel over that towel and place the rocks on top of the second towel! I don’t know if you’ve ever had a hot stone massage before but I have had plenty, they normally put the hot stones on your skin. Here I’ve been laying on the massage table for going on 30 minutesand the massage therapist had yet to touch my skin. When I let out an audible sigh the girl who was giving my boyfriend his massage asked if everything was okay. I said no it is not okay in fact it is very wrong. I told her that I was paying for a hot stone massage and a been 30 minutes and he hadn’t even touched my skin let alone put any kind of pressure on me and at that point I was so frustrated I got up and walked out of the room. As I was walking through the massage parlor, with a towel wrapped around me and carrying my basket with my clothes and belongings in it, the masseuse that had been working on my boyfriend started chasing me down. I ducked into a bathroom and before I could get the door shut she put her foot in between the door and the wall so I couldn’t close it. She was saying«come back I make it alright I make it alright. I give good massage. Come come back in and and relax and I no charge you for this massage.» I told her just to go back and finish my boyfriend and I would wait for him but she kept insisting and even tried to take my basket of clothing. She repeated over and over that she was not going to charge me for my massage just to come back and finish so we could get a massage and relax. I knew I wasn’t getting out of there with my clothes so I decided to go back in and get a massage. By this point the man who had been giving me my massage was now massaging my boyfriend in a very improper way that was making him uncomfortable. When Maggie said that she would do my massage my boyfriend stated that he did not want to switch up in the middle and we would just leave. They basically pressured us into staying and as it was going to be a free massage I thought what the heck. She started giving me a massage and then went back to working on my boyfriend and the old man started working on me again. He was now giving me a stone massage on my back. I say a stone massage because the hot stones were far from hot. They kept having to take them out and put hot water on them and bring them back and start going over and over again. It was noisy unprofessional and not a good massage. I could tell that the man that was working on me was not a licensed massage therapist. I would be surprised if you had given more than one massage in his lifetime, and that’s being pretty generous. I was facedown for least 50 minutes and then I turned over for a 5 to 10 minutes for a quick finish. When we went to leave Maggie had the front door of the shop closed and she was standing in front it. She then went on to say I won’t charge you for a hot stone massage I will just charge you for a regular massage $ 50. I looked at her and laughed and said I could get a better massage for $ 20 at the Chinese Reflexology place. I was already willing to give her $ 90 for the two of us but when she said that it really pissed me off. I reminded her that she told me my massage was free. She then said well we have to pay our workers. She tried to give me a hug and a kiss and she gave my boyfriend a hug and a kiss and kept saying«next time, next time, you ask for me I give you a good massage.» I didn’t tell her that there wouldn’t be a next time I just wanted out of there, desperately. We gave her $ 100 so she’d let us out, and we left.

I’m not in the habit of giving negative reviews but this was the roughest massage experience I’ve ever had. I went in for a back/neck/shoulders massage and was treated to a 45 minute barrage of pressure point based hammering. On the plus side this guy had no trouble finding my knots; on the minus side I felt like he was trying to get me to tap out/submit UFC style. His continual exhoratations to «relax» and«sorry» were not totally helpful while I was writhing in pain. On the plus side, I don’t feel injured, but on the minus I think I feel more stressed than when I went in.

DONOTGET A MASSAGEFROMTHECHINESEMALEMASSEUSE! My boyfriend and I went in on a whim for the 60 min foot reflexology($ 25). The lady at the reception was lovely but then I had the misfortune of getting the male masseuse who was rude, unprofessional, and did not know what he was doing. He not only lacked skill and professionalism, but also was rude and had a terrible attitude. He seemed like he was poorly trained with no technique and was in some kind of a rush. This made me very uncomfortable and I almost walked out on several occasions. When I asked him to please go lighter when massaging my back because I was in pain(& not the good kind), he started loudly arguing with the other female masseuse in the room and mocking me in Chinese(surprise! I can actually understand what you’re saying). I had to ask him nicely three times with no improvement. He then yelled at the other masseuse while roughly finishing the massage before he ripped off the towel covering my face giving me a fright. I’ve been gettin regular massages for the last 10+ years and this is by far one of the worst experience I’ve had.

Just had an amazing facial from Maggie. She’s a certified dermalogica esthetician, the facial was so relaxing with a great massage. The products she used are awesome as well and didn’t irritate my skin. Great price too only $ 50 for an hour. I’ve had many foot massages with her as well and I’m never disappointed.

I have yet to get a treatment but I went to buy a gift certificate and the owner(i believe) was so nice! She informed me about their wide array of services, offered me tea or water, and even gave me a tour of the whole Spa. I will definitely go to get a massage or a facial sometime soon and Im pretty sure I will not be disappointed. :). Great Hospitlaity!

This place use to be fantastic. My wife and I would go about once a month and get the $ 2060 minute massage. Now it’s $ 30 which I would be happy to pay(even though there are plenty of other places at $ 20 per hour locally) if the massages continued to be satisfactory. Sadly, the massages have gone way downhill. The last two massages felt like they were being performed by someone who has never given a massage. It was a rarity when they would hit pressure points, and there was no method to what was going on. She would hit my legs for 10 seconds then go to my feet. Hit my legs for 20 seconds then go to my arms. Hit my legs for 10 seconds then go back to my feet. It was really awkward. I am sad to say I won’t be going here anymore. I have to agree with others though that Maggie(the owner) gives the best massages I’ve ever had. If I could get her I’d go every week!

Wonderful, my wife is 6 months pregnant and her masseuse, Jamie, really took amazing care of my wife and treated her very well. I thank you for the treatment of my wife and our baby. The oils they used on my wife were perfect and kept her nice and relaxed. Thank you again!

$ 50/hour for a full body massage, just to take off ur clothes and lie in a bed… Worst massage I have ever received. The massage it was too dry and overall wasn’t even that great! They need to provide better hospitality. ALL massage parlors I’ve been too have always offer water at the end of each session, after leaving this one I felt all they wanted was ur money. I’ve been to better places and don’t see myself coming back here again.

I’ve been coming here for awhile and they have expanded recently! There are now private and public spaces. The prices are definitely decent(ie $ 65 for a 70min hot stone massage, around $ 50 for an hour Swedish massage, etc). However, the massages are really just average and I’m not left feeling relaxed/better haha. Yet I do know others who like it, so I guess it depends!
