What is In Focus Dentistry?

We have a simple idea in our office. Our patients are completely in charge of their level of health. All our team can do is be your guide and discuss the benefits of having a healthy mouth.

What does that mean?

At your first appointment, you will meet Dr. Sergie or one of his team in a consultation room. Here we speak about your goals and review anything important to your health. (We start off in the consultation room instead of the dental chair because you are a person first, and a patient second.)

Afterwards, any necessary XRAYs are taken including a diagnostic set of photographs. Afterwards you have a chance to ask any questions on anything you see. For most patients, it’s truly an eye opening experience.

You’ll have your teeth cleaned before the end of your visit (if needed) and then Hayley will organize the perfect plan for you.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Originally born in Houston, I’m from a small town called Bay City.

After High School, I wanted a change of scenery so it was off to Boulder and University of Colorado. I had a tremendous 2.5 years there, but I chose to move back to Texas after my father became ill. (He’s doing well now!)

College was finished at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) It’s a beautiful campus in the Texas Hill Country. It’s a fantastic place to visit and hands-​down has the best BBQ on the planet (Salt Lick BBQ…)

Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas was my next stop. Four years of school was followed by an extra optional Residency in Advanced Elective Dentistry (Cosmetics, Rehabilitation, Oral Medicine, etc.)

Uptown is my home now that I share with my beautiful wife Amera. I wanted to open a practice here because it’s a fantastic place with great energy. It’s our goal for our patients to get the best results, with convenience and affordability. See you soon.
